When validating an Acrobat Reader digital signed document the validation service https://ec.europa.eu/digital-building-blocks/DSS/webapp-demo/validation reports "The signed attribute 'signed-certificate' is absent".Because of that the Hungarian State issued digital signature service is also refusing the countersigning of that document.

Today suddently no one in the city can log into there accounts IT included.  I would reach out to support but I cantnot get the information to contact support without logging in. I am the systems administrator and cannot log in. The error is as follows: SAML signature validation failed, make sure you uploaded the metadata with proper certificates.  This has been in place since 2022 nothing changed not sure why we cannot login Thanks for any assistanceDerrick

Danke!

Previously, using the "Comment" toolbar I was able to click on the circle or square icon and then simply draw a circle or square around existing text in a pdf.  Now, even though I follow the directions after a Right Click (on the square with the sizing bubbles), to choose a frame style, frame color and line thickness; and even click "Make Properties Default", the square with the sizing bubbles disappears.  What am I not doing?  None of the Acrobat DC tutorials address this specific issue.  I have tried Adobe chat and have been left on hold for over 30 minutes and then was told to try calling Adobe Help.  When I called Adobe Help I did not allow the 45+ minutes that I was on hold to talk with a live technician, before I had to hang up, so did not want to try phone help again. That was such a nice function, any help will be much appreciated! Thanks,Jeff

Hello,I have both Acrobat Pro 11 and Acrobat Pro DC (2017 continuous) installed on my mac. I am attempting to export PPTX files as tagged PDFs, but am having no luck. I do not get a CreatePDF ribbon in any of my Office applications. If I try to use the Create PDF feature in Acrobat Pro DC, it opens the doc in PowerPoint etc, but then immediately it all disappears. If I try to re-run it, it tells me a file is already converting. It never finishes converting or offers me a status bar. If I use the batch processor in Acrobat Pro DC, it will create a PDF, but it is untagged. I know using the website https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf will allow for conversions, but it requires a paid account which my institution does not have. As I have both Pro versions of Acrobat, surely there is a solution? Thanks! Best,Robert

I have an old account linked to my son's school.  the email is no longer active and he has forgotten the password.  So password resets don't work. You can only speak to a human at Adobe if you have an account AND login from that account.  I have an active account I am paying for but cannot login.  It's an infuriating death loop.  PLEASE HELP!!

Hi Everyone!! Adobe Express experienced an outage, and the app stuck on "Getting everything ready for you," with a message displaying "You're offline."     Our team worked on fixing the issue. If you're still experiencing it, let us know.    We apologize for the frustration and thank you for your patience.

What are the rules regarding the storage of adult (NSFW) photos and videos in my Creative Cloud Files/Documents and Lightroom? Is it OK? Everything would be kept private, at most sharing it with one or two collaborators. And of course, everything is legal, among consenting adults, nobody's harmed, and so on. I skimmed through the Terms of Use linked below, but there are words like "lewd" and "obscene" which are kinda subjective. I'm new to Creative Cloud and this is my first post here, so my apologies if this is the wrong community or anything like that. Thanks!

This is all  that appears on my screen when I open my Illustrator app on my Macbook. These are the settings. Much help would be appreciated.

When I strike a measurement it is coming back with a number, "192.00" for example.  the number definately converts to inches but I don't want to spend time converting from inches to feet and inches.  How do I globally set this up to read feet and inches?

I have created a Profile (xmp file) using Spyder Checkr Photo for my camera. It is stored in the corect place: Library: Application Support: Adobe: Camera Raw: Settings. When I use the Import Profiles & Presets command in Camera Raw, it goes directly to the correct folder and the xmp file (the created Profile) appears, but it is grayed out. So I can't import it. Am I doing something wrong? I would like to have it as an option in the Profiles listed in the drop down menus.  Thanks for any help.

Is there any way to filter on wheter a DNG is a Lightroom "Enhanced" DNG (i.e. with Noise Reduction applied) or not? I.e. is that info stored in some metadata that I could filter on? Right now I am simply using the text filter on the file name, to filter out the enhanced images, but this feels like a bit of a workaround (i.e. filtering on "Enhanced" or "Verbessert", since I have Lightroom running in English and German). If there is no facility like this availalable yet, perhaps we should start an idea to make this happen in a future update? 🙂

We have a client that is having an issue with converting word files to pdf using the "Create PDF" option under the word file ACROBAT tab. All the redline disappears in the header on every page. The workaround, for now, is to save the word file as pdf by clicking on FILE>SAVE AS>PDF, and saved it on the user's desktop. Any resolution on this "Create PDF" tool?

A year ago I started attaching supplementary information (excel doc) inside of a pdf by way of the "comment > add new attachment" feature. I never had problems opening the pdf or attached excel doc, and neither did the recipients. However, this has changed. More and more people are having issues opening these excel documents (.xlsm).Is it because of the file type? Is there a way I can change the trusted documents to include these types? The Edit > Preferences > Trust Manager >PDF File Attachments "Restore" button is greyed out and no longer an option. This fixed the problems on occasion, but I am still in search of a full fix so my recipients can view the attached document.

I don't always like making a PDF straight from my Illustrator files because it can cause some weird things to happen with effects from time to time. Most times I save a high quality JPG and then drag that into Acrobat to convert it into a PDF.EVERY TIME I do this, it makes my JPG a massive size. It will be an 8.5 x 11 jpg and as soon as I drop it into adobe it's like 32" x 52"!! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! I've been having to open my JPGS back up in Illustrator and then export the PDF from there to get them to be the correct size. Can any one tell me why Acrobat is resizing my images at all and how can I fix this? It seems like a crazy bug to me!

I am editing audio files on my timeline for voiceovers without any video. How do I close the gaps between audio files without manually shifting each one to snap? I only see tutorials for video gaps. Thanks

How can I save with Visible bookmarks on a pdf file

Bonjour,Serait il possible de corriger dans lightroom le point d'autofocus réalisé lors de création d'une photo au format RAW SVP ?Ce serait magique, mais je pose la question en doutant d'une réponse positive 🙂

I am downloading a pdf article from Newsela website.  I download the pdf and open it in Acrobat reader DC.  When I convert to a word document, it gives me a download failure.  In the past, I have been able to convert these pdf files from this website many times.  However, it is happening today.  I tried a different pdf file and it is doing the same thing
