I was working with ChatGPT to Write a Script for Illustrator to Layout and arrange the artboards for Large Murals. Based on the provided info (max Printer Width, Mural Overall Size, Scale 1:1, 1:4, 1:2, 1:10, Overlap width for panels, Custom Bleed for each side, in addition to the overall size,  it should set and arrange all the equal width tiled artboards to print the mural in the current document. I have attached an .ai example file for a 180x120 Mural as to how the blank file should look, as well as a Mural calculator spreadsheet, Its exported to eXCEL, so it may not work as nicely as my Numbers Spreadsheet. It seems to have lost some of the formatting, but the calculations seem to work. I am very novice at scripting. Any guiadance how to get this to work would be appreciated. Seems like I can't attach an .ai file so i saved as (ai editable) .pdf, please download and open it in Illustrator to see the example Illustrator File. The script runs all the prompts, Creates the ov

Can anyone confirm that Adobe applications that feature I.A. Do require local processing (CPU/NPU)? (and not only GPU). I'm looking forward to understanding what is the impact of using NPU based Processor. Is there any benchmark database or even a benchmark that I could run in both platforms to help me to understand these possible gains?Besides Generative AI, are there other use cases where workloads have shifted from execution on the CPU to execution on the NPU (even partially)? Any examples of application optimization independent of Generative AI?

I am a CC subscriber who still uses Br and Ps CS6 together with Br and Ps 2025 on the same Windows 10 computer.  It's important that I maintain access to certain Br/Ps CS6 plugins/extensions that are no longer available (or do not work) with later versons. Both Ps/Br CS6 and Ps/Br CC (various versions) coexisted without problems until recent versions have broken things.  Br CS6 now insists on running Bridge plugins/extension/scripts (such as the image processor) with Ps 2025. If Ps CS6 is open nothing will run. As soon as I uninstall Ps 2025 everything will work again properly. I noted that Ps 2025 preconfigures itself as the default app for many plugin file extensions that were undefined with CS6 (eg: .8ba, .8Be, .8bf, .8bi, .8Li, .8bx, .8ME and others). I hoped that deleting these file associations in the Registry would fix things (in [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT] and [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\]) but that did not work.&nb

Hello, I had a question about whether or not it ever causes an account problem if you are switching out your active devices too many times? I have 2 computers and 1 laptop that I frequently use, however my Creative Cloud license only allows for 2 devices to be connected at a time. Naturally whenever I need to use a 3rd device, I receive the popup that tells me I need to de-activate one of the 2 connected devices, and then add the new device. If this happens frequently like multiple times per week/month does that ever cause an account issue? is there any kind of limit to that?

I have a MacBook Pro with macOS Catalina Version 10.15.6 currently. Whenever I try to open Adobe Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro, the application won't even open. I get an error message saying Acrobat quit unexpectedly. I called Adobe customer support twice and did a screen share where the applications were installed and uninstalled, but nothing will work. I was advised to come to this forum for help.

I've tried arguing with chatGPT about this to no avail.  Does anyone know if it is possible to add text to an elliptical path in a Javascript function?

Hi, I'm using PS 24.5.0 on a M1 Mac.Everytime I like to save an image (Ctrl + S) I get this error. The image will be saved, but I get this every time. I'm not shure, maybe since I installed the beta of PS. Now the beta is uninstalled. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks, Stefan

Hi All,I am currently in the market for a new display calibration device because I upgraded to the new macbook pro, which has the new screen technology.  In terms of Calibrite, the options are display pro and plus HL.  The difference according to calibrite is the ability to 'calibrate HDR content'.  Apparently this is a technololgy that is 'evolving'.  I don't really understand why you would need to specifically calibrate for HDR content.  Does anyone out there have any information or advice about that? I'm pretty tired of having to dish out money on these things.  Thanks! Mac OS 13.6LR 12.5PS 24.7.0Macbook Pro M2 Max

I recently combined to documents into a portfolio, which was fine. Now I want to combine two other documents into one document (I do this all the time) and the program defaults to a portfolio, despite what I select on the menu. How do I get it back to just combining the documents?

Alright, so I've been going around and around in circles on Adobe support with no helpful answers, I've also called what I thought was Adobe support only for them to tell me that they cannot help me. SO, my computer is in the shop being repaired but they have to wipe it clean and then they can reinstall my programs, however they won't be able to reinstall photoshopCS6. I've read that you can deactivate from your Adobe account, which I've tried, but when I get to my account none of my products are under the registered tab, there is no deactivate device option under manage plan for creative cloud, I see nothing. I'd like some real help here. Going around on these forums I'm seeing a lot of what seems like automated answers from Adobe "experts". Clicking "Contact Us" has done nothing but send me in circles and it's the most maddening thing. I've even tried putting in my serial number where it says register an older product, and it says that my serial number has already been registered, so

I install the adobe acrobat Reader DC on approx. 200 clients via a software distribution.Every time I start Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I am asked whether I want to make Adobe the default pdf viewer. I do not want this and I do not want this message to be displayed. Text of the message: “Make Adobe Acrobat Reader DC my default PDF application.” I have found the option in adob's “Preferences” and “General” that allows me to prevent the message from being displayed. “ Notify me if Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is not my default PDF application.” how can i automatically remove this tick via settings (gpo, powershell, ...)?many thanks for your help!

Ever since I downloaded Lightroom Classic (version 14.2) on my new macbook (Apple M2 Pro 2023) I have problems with importing photos from my Nikon D800.When Importing, some thumbnails show up but the rest remains grey, no matter how long I wait. When clicking import it just says "importing" without actually importing.I tried de-installing and reinstalling without migrating former catalogs or presets, to see if it works with a clean slate. The problem still remains.Similar threads suggesting deactivating GPU support, tried this, but it doesn't solve it.Importing DNG files from an external hard drive does work. What to do?

CommunityI recently reformated my harddrive and reinstalled Windows 11 Pro. After reinstalling Adobe Acrobat 2020 the Acrobat Licensing Applicaitona keeps asking me to Sign in. It accepts my log it. This is a small annoyance but just seeing if anyone might have an answer for me.I have a workspace that I created and when I create a new project the project panel never comes in how I save the workspace. Below is how I have saved the workspace. And here is how it comes in when I create a new project. You can see the project panel is now on my second monitor stacked with the Lumetri color panel and effects controls.

The moderators keep rejecting my AI images, so please tell me what is the problem?

Hello community,I created a recipient group  to spare me having to specify each person in the distribution when requesting initials. However, I am not getting the option to assign fields to each member within the group.  It seems that I can only assign a field to the entire group,  which defeats the purpose.   I have searched for solutions with no results. I would  appreciate any assistance.

Hi everyone,I'm quite expert in Photoshop but having a weird issue for the first time since a few days...FYI: I'm working on a MAC, on the last version of Photoshop.Everytime I use the brush on the mask, first problem is it only works with some trasparency instead of plain colour(I already checked the opacity of the layer and on the top bar menu), so for example when I use black to erase the part of interest it's not erasing fully due to the transparency. The second issue, still while using the brush in the mask,  is that when I click every single click it's switching from white to black to white and so on. In the left instrument menu the colors ar not switching (black stays as foreground and white as background). Both these problems happen also when I use the brush on a normal layer (and not on the mask). I'm sorry I hope I was clear enough, I am attaching a video to help you better understand what I mean. Any help will be fully appreciated, thank you. Lisa

Anyone else experiencing all their fonts missing with the recent update on Creative Cloud? I'm having to remove them and install them again, every single one of them. Which is of course not that hard but the background task won't stop.
