Solved

I have created a PDF (from MS Word) which contains text and images. The images were taken on my smartphone and inserted into Word. There are no tags or properties that have any 'layman's' description of the content of the images (either when standalone images or after insertion into Word), but once I have saved the Word document as a PDF and open it in Acrobat, if I hover over the images a pop-up shows with a brief generic description (it has detected some trees, so has added "A close-up of a tree - Description automatically generated") - I can't see where this is happening or how to stop it. Any help appreciated.

I have a catalog of several hundred photos I have been editing for the last three months. I thought I finished today, but when I scrolled back, an entire section was no longer edited, even though I know I edited them previously. The photos are still there but show no record of being edited. I went looking for backups and realized the catalog had not been backed up, even though it was set to back up once a week. I am using Lightroom Classic and updated today to v 14.5.1. I have no idea if the edits were there before I updated it or not. I would really appreciate any advice!

Looking for some help and sorry about the long post.I am trying to do a variable data merge in photoshop to import the photos (individual & team) plus names into a template.I have had no issues doing this in the past, but now I keep getting an error:Could not parse the file contents as a data set. The name 'a' is not a variable in the current document.I had different column names when I started, but have dumbed it down to a, b, c for both my csv file and psd file. No spaces, everything matches, etc.No matter what I do, I keep getting the error.I have shut down and restarted the program, my entire computer, uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop and I still get nowhere.I have tried different templates, used ChatGPT and went through all of what it said to try. After 4 hours of trying everything under the sun...I'm about to give up and manually do Memory Mates and Buttons for 300 orders.Does anyone have any ideas?

I edit photos of children in costumes and the costumes are basically the same, I just change the children and for each costume I use a standard background. I wanted to know if there is any tool that can add this background automatically using artificial intelligence to identify the costume used by each child? The attachment contains 3 edited photos and the background for better understanding.

Hey, where can I find these visual fade handles on audio clips (Image 1)? I really liked this fade feature in Vegas, and I’d like to know how to do it in Premiere. I dont find the handle on my PP 2024 (Image 2)

I am on a new Mac M4 with Sequoia 15.6.1 (24G90). I restored it from a Time Machine Backup.  Have tried uninstalling PS, everything's updated, restarting the machine. Signing out and back in. I've never had issues before. Can anybody help?

For some reason the knife tool will not work when I create a shape, no matter how I create it, I can create an ellipse or a rectangle and it still won't cut.Has anyone else had this issue?

I generated a transcript for my dialogue. But later on in editing, I had to edit one of the dialogue audio files in Audition to remove and add new lines. Back in Premiere everything updated except for the transcript. It still thinks it is the old dialogue. In the 3 dot menu the "Re-transcribe sequence" option is grayed out. After looking it up apparently I can only click it if I use a static transcript. I've closed and opened the project, cleared media cache, didn't fix anything. For now I'm using the static transcript, but it will be a pain when cutting and moving audio around on the timeline and need to retranscribe everytime. I'm on most current version of Premiere.

I need a way to use the software without it needing access to everything. When the software starts it asks for permission to access everything and doesn't allow me to continue unless it gets what it wants. I don't understand why that's necessary and I'll probably move on to a competitor if it can't be used without this. I used to edit on Premiere Pro four/five years ago without this being an issue. Now, all my files show up, which is chaotic and confusing, I can't import what i want, bit by bit, and have the clips organised how I'd like. It's an editing software, why does it need every single document on my laptop to function? It's unnerving and feels like there's some alterior motive behind it because it doesn't improve the functioning of the product as editing software. It makes it worse. But if there's a way to use it without this messy, invasion of privacy, that would be great.  Any suggestions would be appreciated otherwise I'll cancel my subscription.

I want several people to sign a document but only after a (or two) person(s) has approved the document. My experience is that this only works in a specified order, i.e.1 - Approver approves2 - Signatory 1 signs3 - Signatory 2 signs4 - Signatory 3 signsand so on.However I want that the Signatories can sign the document in any order after approval by the Approver, i.e.1 - Approver approves2 - Signatories 1, 2, 3,... sign in any order Is that possible?

So I've been using Illustrator for over 22 years now, and only remember having this issue once before.I've checked the forums, Google, and I found one person with this issue 5 years ago, but there was no solution found. I haven't been able to find someone with this exact issue yet. So either I'm searching for the wrong thing, or?So I'm trying to select an object, and no matter what, Illustrator will select an object behind it unless I'm zoomed in very close to said object, for example:     I'm trying to select that shape inside the red circle, (that grey shape with a black outline). And no matter where I click on the outline or the shape directly... it selects the complex pattern behind it (which is actually multiple shapes behind it) So no matter where I click on that grey shape, it tries to select the pattern below it.All objects are unlocked, on the same layer, and in the same group. It doesn't just do it for the pattern, it does it with a ton of other objects too. This is acro

I need help in finding where and how to download ADE 3.0.

When I open a pdf, it looks like this:I have to click on the open file button to get it to look like this, which I want: Then I have to click on vertical window to get it this format, the format I want it to open up as every time: How do I get it to open in in the final picture forma?.  I don't want that file screen at all.

I am new to Premiere Pro.  Used to use Sony Vegas, and switched recently. I am trying to export like a 30 second clip from a larger video, and it's taking over 2.5 hours for the encoding.

This is now the third time I’ve reported a massive slowdown when exporting my videos. And the few solutions provided haven’t changed anything. Six months ago, exporting a 40-minute 1080p video took 90 minutes. Today, exporting a similar video takes 210 minutes—four times longer!I’ve had the same computer for two years, the same graphics card for two years. My editing process hasn’t changed in two years, and I still work in 1080p (I can only imagine how long it would take if I were working in 4K). I can no longer work properly with Premiere Pro, which already has a reputation for being relatively slow. And I’m not even mentioning the countless bugs that make editing my projects difficult.I’d really like someone to look into this issue seriously and explain why the slowdown is so severe. I’ve already contacted technical support, but I keep getting the same answers. I’m seriously considering switching to a different editing software.  AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor (3.60 GHz

Using Illustrator 25.3.1 on MacOS Big Sur 11.4. I am placing linked PNG illustrations on an artboard. At first, I can click anywhere on the PNG image to select or drag it . After some time the image will only be selectable by clicking on the border. I haven't been able to pinpoint a particular cause for the change, but it makes moving the placed PNG very difficult. I generally have to switch to outline mode to find the border. I've attached a screen recording of this anomoly.

I purchased a perpetual license of Acrobat Pro DC on the 9th Dec 2015 (version 12) .  By the Way I also purchased Acrobat Pro version 11 and have the seriaals number for both versions. Now Acrobat DC 12 is giving me Subscription and Trial notifcations - the software STILL runs for the moment - BUT, (1) Has my Perpetual License been terminated by Adobe ? (2) Will Adobe force me to RE_PURCHASE this PDF software?  I have a 3D plugin installed in Acrobat DC and I do not wish to upgrade my license(s) for fear of having to reinstall the plugin or reconfigure the plugin

I just got After Effects CC with the free trial. It works mostly fine, but the camera won't move, even though I put and altered keyframes on the position, point of interest, and orientation. I have the view set to Active Camera. When I tried setting the view to front, the frame showed that the camera was moving and rotating, and the transformation settings say that it is too, but the Active Camera view says otherwise. Anyone know why?

Hi guys,  I've been having this issue for around a week now and I haven't been able to find a solution. Basically my After Effects preview is black but only when I use AE on my laptop, if I drag the application over to my second screen the preview plays. I've tried everything in this thread - Solved: My After Effects preview is all black. - Adobe Product Community - 8307052 checked the eye icon is on, toggled all the preferences it suggests (Mercury Transmit, pruged the cache etc etc), uninstalled and reinstalled AE, updated my driver but still the problem persists. I use Windows 11 with NVIDIA GEFORCE studio driver. The fact I can see the preview on my second screen leads me to believe it's something to do with my laptop? Any ideas would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Ollie

I have been capturing materials with the z captis scanner.  While I dont have a lot of experience with sampler, I have been using substance and designer for a few years.  I get this extremely odd error when I try applying the auto tiling feature to my scanned materials - all colors are converted to red in some way (attached examples)I cant tell if this is an issue with captis, sampler or maybe even my graphic card.  Im using the latest version of sampler and I checked that I have the latest updated drivers for my graphic card.
