Solved

Can your amazing development team make it so that the "Aspect Ratio" selection is not reset when changing models.  It is beyond frustrating to get everything setup how you want it, and then desire to see how a different model will generate, only for the aspect ratio to be reset to the default of landscape instead of retaining the aspect ratio used on the previous generation.

Hi, Dear Friends!I have a script i got a while ago, but it looks like it was converted to binary - looks like this: I want to make a  slight alteration. Can this be decompiled for editing? Thank you, and have a good day!Susan Flamingo

I want to check whether the currently selected frame contains a frame separator (~R) or a page separator (~P).But it seems like I'm not getting any results.var s = app.selection[0].texts[0].contents; alert(s); var what = "~R|~P" var res = getGrepSearch(what, app.activeDocument); alert(res); function getGrepSearch(fp, s) { app.findGrepPreferences = app.changeGrepPreferences = app.findChangeGrepOptions = null; app.findChangeGrepOptions.properties = { includeHiddenLayers: true, includeLockedLayersForFind: true, includeLockedStoriesForFind: true, includeMasterPages: true } app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = fp; //return app.findGrep() return s.findGrep() }

Hello Members,I have created a PDF DYNAMIC STAMP, consisting of 4 text fields and 4 checkboxes. Everything is working fine except for the checkboxes. When I put data in the dialog box including the checkbox, The results of checkboxes (Checked/Unchecked) not showing up in Stamp. //Checkbox Fields Name:Check Box1Check Box2Check Box3Check Box4 I have attached a ScreenShot of the stamp and JAVASCRIPT that I'm using now; Thanks.Software: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  var FormRouting = { return: 'cancel', DoDialog: function () { return app.execDialog(this); }, bChk1: false, bChk2: false, bChk3: false, bChk4: false, str1: '', str2: '', str3: '', str4: '', initialize: function (dialog) { var dlgInit = { Chk1: this.bChk1, Chk2: this.bChk2, Chk3: this.bChk3, Chk4: this.bChk4, Str1: this.str1, Str2: this.str2, Str3: this.st

When combining PDF files into one, I am getting a dialog box that says:  "You are currently using free Acrobat Reader. You also have Adobe Acrobat installed on your machine, which includes advanced tools.  Click OK to launch Adobe Acrobat to use this tool" This issue started in the last few days.  Not aware of any updates that were downloaded or any change in the systems settings, which still show to use Adobe Acrobat DC as the default when opening PDF files.

I do not think this is possible but as a book designer it would be very nice if there was a script. Is there a way to set my font style where my text is on one layer and my shading or rule (essentially a colour) is on a seperate layer? This is useful if the book needs a language change.thanksDom

I want to cancel my free trial for Acrobat Pro. I’m doing all the right steps, but when I’ve answered the final questions and try to submit, I just get the message “Unable to download data”. I’ve tried several times, but I’m stuck.

I get this pop up everytime After Effects starts up.  I'm on a 2019 iMac running macOS 11.2.3 with the latest version of AE 18.0.0 It seems plugin or script related, because it showed up when I copied all my Plug-ins/Presets/Scripts folders over from my After Effects 2020 folder to the new 2021 folder.

Subclips: Has anyone found a way to create Subclips without having the dialogue box pop open (Name+restrict)? Looking to speed up the process; tried Command-dragging to a Bin but it still pops open that dialogue box. Supposedly there's a way with markers but I can't get that to work (maybe AI hallucinated that answer).   JVK

Hi everyone,I’m working on an advanced JavaScript (ExtendScript) file for Illustrator that includes a floating window UI and uses BridgeTalk for communication between UI and drawing logic.I tried encrypting the script using Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit to convert it to .jsxbin, then wrapped it with eval("...") and renamed it back to .jsx. However, when I tried running it in Illustrator, it didn’t work at all—the script wouldn’t even open.I suspect the issue might be related to the use of BridgeTalk or the floating window, but I’m not sure.My goal is to protect/obfuscate this script before distribution, but I’m stuck at this point. If anyone has experience with encrypting scripts that involve BridgeTalk and floating palettes—please guide me on the best way to do this. Thanks in advance!

Recently Adobe updated my Acrobat to 10.1.2.45. Now I'm unable to past images from clipboard into a pdf document. For example, using another windows program I might copy an image to the Windows clipboard, open up a pdf document, and click on the Edit menu expecting to be able to select Paste and paste the image from the windows clipboard onto a page in the PDF document. However, Paste is faded out in the Edit menu and is unselectable. I was doing this about 10 times a day and now that feature is unavailable to me. CTL-V also does not work.

Hello! Adding keywords to Lightroom was possible before and now I am not able to. The keyword is not highlighted in the view dropdown and when I click k it also does not appear. How can I rectify this issue? Would love to find out. Thank you!

A playhead on a dope sheet isn't moving and is stuck on the first frame. I've tried opening a new one and deleting it, but it still won't move. This is so frustrating.

I have 3 drop down boxes, for which the client should choose either yes or no, but the fields defaults to the same option once the last box is selected. I want the 3 options to be independant from each other. What should i change or do? Thanks
