Solved

I'm using my new iPad 10th generation and Adobe Rush keeps crashing while editing my video. It's very frustrating...any advice how to resolve this?

Hi I have 2 projects, with about 10 segments of video in each, I want to copy and paste different segments between the 2 projects. Is there a way to open the Adobe Premiere Elements program TWICE so i can do split screen and then drag or copy and paste between them? When i tried to open 2, the second project just opens on top of the first project and i can no longer se the first project. Alternatively, what is the best way to do this? Thanks!

Long time power used here. In 24.7.0on Mac OS 13.1Mac Book Pro 16-inch 2021 M1 Max When on a layer or layer mask and using a keyboard shortcut to select another tool the program switches to the tool but then immediately switches back to the previous tool selected. Each time I use the quick key to try and switch it continues to switch back over and over again. I have to completely click out of the layer I am on or the layer mask I am in to clear the issue or manually click the other tool. Seems to only be an issue when using a key board shortcut for that tools. It doesnt matter what tool I'm in, it seems to happen on every tool. It happens the most when I'm on a mask and trying to paint on a mask. Restarting the program or full computer restart does not fix the issue. This just popped up in my most recent upgrade to 24.7.0.

I have some old 16mm film I've made digital. It looks fine for what it is (16mm), but it's obviously grainy. I have seen people improve the quality of 16mm film on YouTube, before AI was a thing, so I know it's not that. I'm really not at all familiar with options in Premiere (or maybe it's an After Effects thing? I have both) I can use to make the footage look cleaner.  I know it's not going to look HD, and that's not my goal, just any improvement to make it look as best as I can. If anyone has any suggestions or can point me in the right direction in terms of effects to try, or a tutorial, I'd be very grateful. Thanks!

I am trying to copy graphics from Illustrator to Indesign but the bounding box gets very large for no reason at all. I'm just  clicking ctrl c and ctrl v I'm attaching pictures for example     <Title renamed by MOD>

I have set the scale ahead of time to convert the units to mm:app.documents.item(0).viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.MILLIMETERS; app.documents.item(0).viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.MILLIMETERS;I get a value 100 from the file name(100):myWidth = Number(getFileName[1]);Then assign the size in the object style:w.transformAttributeOptions.transformAttrWidth = myWidth;Sometimes it's correct, it's 100mm.But sometimes the result j is 35.278 mm.Then I know it treats it as 100 points.How can I make sure that "w.transformAttributeOptions.transformAttrWidth" always gets 100mm?

I've been encountering the same issue when attempting to move a file from Lightroom to Photoshop using the "Edit in Photoshop" link.  I get this error: "Lightroom is not allowed to control Photoshop.  Make sure this is allowed in System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Automation".  I've only been experiencing this since recently updating my programs with the May 2025 updates.  Anything you can recommend to resolve?   [Branched off from a non-related thread by moderator]

I mean: text height.I always "Trial and error"ing with the font size (on PT units) , measure it with measure tool, converting it's height to CM. it's a time consuming methood.is there any more user friendly way to do it? this question goes to illustrator too.

Just for your knowledge, you should know that a dead cat on a mic refers to a windshield not actually to a dead cat.

I asked them to not enlarge the image and to not break the text, but they keep enlarging the image and breaking the text to create it. I asked them to just move the green part, but they're moving the entire thing. It seems like a problem that the video I want isn't being created, but credits keep being deducted.

I received an email about the plan increase, it says I can change to annual billing. When I follow the link to manage my plan, the option to change to annual billing is not there. I can't find a chat button anywhere. I would like to continue with the option offered but it seems impossible.

Since I got a new desktop and installed Photoshop version 25.12.3, the pixel thickness specified for my pencil no longer matches the actual width. For example, when I enter "1 px" in the box next to the pencil, I get a line 2 pixels thick. With higher values, e.g., 4, 5, or 12 px, the lines are always 2 pixels thicker than the specified value. How do I ensure that the specified value matches the actual width?Thank you in advance for your response. Anneke

Schon einmal vielen Dank. Grüße

I did a lot of retouching work and suddenly couldn't save my file. When I save it, I get an error"Could not save because of a disk error (-1)."Now I can't close Photoshop without losing the work I've done. Please help me to solve the problem. There is no choice of where to save the files, the error message appears immediately. Adobe has full disk access in the settings. The RAW files I'm working with are on an external disk. I have been working from it all day and have been saving files without any problems. The external ssd drive and the system disk have a lot of free space.I tried to open files from the system drive in Photoshop - still the same - nothing is saved. Also tried creating and saving a file in photoshop. No kind of files can be saved.I have macOS Monterey 12.3, M1, Photoshop was updated 3 days ago.

Hi,when I open a RAW file in photoshop, I apply a b&w layer and then a camera raw filter, I obtain a completely red image.I tried to open the same RAW file in photoshop, applying the camera raw filter only (thus without the b&n layer) and everything seems to be working fine. The problem seems to be related to the b&w layer. All my apps are updated to the last version, working on a windows 11 system. Is there any way to fix the problem? Many thanks for your support.... ps. the image shows my screen with the above described problem

Does anybody else here compile plugins for older versions with macOS SDK 10.14 or 10.15 embedded in the Xcode app? All projects worked fine for me using Xcode 14 under Sonoma, but under Sequoia I have to use Xcode 16. It compiles perfectly for AI 26 and up, but for AI 25 I get an error that the include files exception and memory cannot be found. They are embedded in the SDK within the app here: Macintosh HD:Applications:Xcode.app:Contents:Developer:Platforms:MacOSX.platform:Developer:SDKs:MacOSX10.14.sdk:usr:include:c++:4.2.1:memory Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

The file I'm trying to open was able to open about 2 weeks ago. Now I keep getting the pop up message that says it couldn't open because of an error. The error wasn't there when I last saved the file. It's PSB file. I've tried the suggestions from the "Learn how to fix, "Photoshop could not complete your request because of a program error" when opening or saving files" posting on the Adobe website. Nothing worked.I've also tried opening the file on another device. It keeps giving the same error message.  Another file that I had saved on the same day as the one that now won't open can open. I don't know what happened to the file that supposedly has an error.  I don't want to have to completely restart from scratch.

Hello, been working on a script to make similar to InDesign grids for Illustrator.  Interface is self clear, detects the artboard you are on, you enter the parameters done. you can click the apply to all and then those settings go on all artboards. Then lets say you have a need for a different grid on a particlar artboard, well then you run it again, change the parameters, dont click apply to all and it should change just that artboardprevious versions i had did this, but the preview was not quite working, since fixing the preview I am now in a situation, where the guides are remove and never redrawn, and may margins layers are unlocked too This is the preview of the new layout I want  And when I hit okay this is what I get - pure blank. Interestingly, if I hit the x button for the script, it just saves the new layout... when it should cancel it.. but thats a fix i need to do.   Anyhow, this is not what is wanted, it be drawing out the new g

scammer alert : Cumputer Dukan <link for scammer removed by moderator>  i paid for a lifetime software and instead this fraud gave me a free 7 day trial for subscription.    i requested 2021 or 2023 software not the newest for my older mac catalina os.  he sent me a reciept saying 2025 software in the link to download it - BUT it did come up as 2023 in the icon after loading.  HOWEVER it does not open as software. instead, it shows a popup box THIS IS A 7 DAY FREE TRIAL FOR SUBSCRIPTION.  i live in rural india. we have no cloud access and 1gb per day internet. i need software NOT subscription for a book with many illustrations.  i do not have the access to internet for a subscription or cloud use.  this is why i need software and adobe only sells this by 3rd party.  it looked scammy (doesnt even spell computer correctly) so first, i actually spent hours in chat on adobe to purchase direct.  the chat agent gave me the SAME LINK i w

So I have a clip area. I selected some objects and made a clip group. I want to move objects within the group but not the mask, so I locked it. If I select the Clip Group in the Layers Panel and move it, only the unlocked layers move. Most of the time. If I happen to select an object in the clip group without selecting it in the layers panel, the entire group moves, which is not desired nor expected behavior- I've been masking for years and have never been able to move, much less select a locked layer.  Why is this even happening? What's the point of locking my mask if it's just going to move if I click on it with the Move Tool?
