Hi, Dear Friends!I am trying a different function this time. To scan the text frame and any string formatted with the char style "sidenote", it extracts that text and creates an anchored text box in the margin with that text (different locations for even and odd pages).Chat GPT gave me this:--------------------->#target indesign(function () {var doc = app.activeDocument;var styleName = "sideNote"; // The character style for the sidenote text// Ensure the cursor is in a valid text frame or text storyif (!app.selection.length || !(app.selection[0] instanceof TextFrame) && !(app.selection[0] instanceof Text)) {alert("Please place your cursor in the story to start scanning.");//return;}var sel = app.selection[0];// If the selection is a TextFrame, use its parentStory, otherwise use the selected text's parentStoryvar story = (sel instanceof TextFrame) ? sel.parentStory : sel.parentStory;// Loop through the story to find all text with the "sidenote" character stylevar sideNotes =

Im trying to find the keyboard shortcut to move the time indicator to the next / previous clips. Apparently it is 'CMD + Left / Right Arrow' but that doesn't work for me, it just sorta moves the whole timeline?

Hello,I have an institutional account, and use pdfs all the time for work.  Everytime I open acrobat, I am required not only to reenter my adobe credentials, but then it kicks over to my institutional login, for which I need my phone, etc.  And even then, the "remember me for 30 days" function doesn't work.  I admit to using my account on three different devices (home computer, office computer, Ipad on which I do most of my academic reading), and in the past have had to routinlely log out of one device to permit me access in another. But in the last month this has become utterly ridiculous.  Even when I'm working on the same computer during the day, it prompts me everytime I reopen the program. Frankly, this is an enormous waste of my time, and I'd like an option that is smoother. cecilia

I see a few different ways to adjust the volume of a clip, but find all of them quite awkward as it means dragging the value with my mouse. Is it possible to enter a number anywhere for what I want the volume to be? E.g. the bit in the bottom left of a clip, can I type in a number somehow instead of clicking / dragging with the mouse?

I'm looking for all the Publish Online links I created over the past few months, where can I find them? Thanks for your help!

Is it sometimes necessary to distinguish between their uses?What is the basis for their use?In the code below, if I use bothsel[j].fit(FitOptions.FILL_PROPORTIONALLY); sel[j].fit(FitOptions.FRAME_TO_CONTENT);the first one will display incorrectly. 　I looked at it for a long time and didn't find much difference in their data sources.  if (sel.length == 1) { sel[j].visibleBounds = [sb[0], lcb, sb[2], rcb]; if (cp.length == 2) { sel[j].fit(FitOptions.PROPORTIONALLY); sel[j].fit(FitOptions.FRAME_TO_CONTENT); } if (cp.length > 2) { sel[j].fit(FitOptions.FILL_PROPORTIONALLY); sel[j].fit(FitOptions.FRAME_TO_CONTENT); } }

Hi, I'm on Photoshop 26.8.1. I have a document of 600dpi, 41x29 centimeters... When I try to save it as .psd, I have the error message saying that the document is too heavy, over 2Go, and that I have to save it as .psb... But when I save it as .psb, the document is just 225 Mo (When I save it as .tif, it's 218 Mo)... What's the bug ? Thank you.

Usually when I drag my Current Time Indicator to a certain frame and press space bar to preview, the rendering would start where the Time Indicator is. Now, when I drag the Current Time Indicator and press space bar to preview, the rendering starts at the beginning of the composition and refuses to start where the Time Indicator is. I don't understand why it's not working all of a sudden. It was working just fine a couple weeks ago.. How and what can I do to fix this problem? I have Adobe After Effects CC 2017 btw.

Hello everyone,I'm working on a Photoshop script and need to select the content of the current active layer without triggering any dialog boxes or pop-ups.I've tried executeAction( idsetd, desc, DialogModes.NO ), but this often brings up a "feather selection" dialog. I'm looking for a way to achieve a direct selection of the layer's pixels, similar to Ctrl/Cmd + click on the layer thumbnail, but entirely through scripting and without any user interaction required.function loadLayerTransparencySelection(layerName) {var doc = app.activeDocument;var targetLayer = null;for (var i = 0; i < doc.layers.length; i++) {if (doc.layers[i].name === layerName) {targetLayer = doc.layers[i];break;}}if (targetLayer) {doc.activeLayer = targetLayer; var idsetd = charIDToTypeID( "setd" );var desc = new ActionDescriptor();var idnull = charIDToTypeID( "null" );var ref = new ActionReference();var idChnl = charIDToTypeID( "Chnl" );var idfsel = charIDToTypeID( "fsel" );ref.putProperty( idChnl, idf

I am somewhat comfortable with Illustrator, but definitely not a pro. I have a symbol i am using as part of my logo, but i only have it as a jpeg. I am trying to edit it to change the colors a bit, and to resize it. If I do it in canva or editor it gets very grainy.  Is there a way to do this using Illustrator?

Adobe / Photoshop,What I do appreciate  is : Adobe continue to do general stability update for v25.12. (last update 25.12.4).What would be great is : Adobe do the same thing,  including bugs fixes and performance for V26.0 and later.

Hi everyone,Is there a way to keep the Tools pane minimized by default when opening PDF files in Adobe Acrobat (Reader or Pro)? Every time I open a new document, the right-hand Tools panel is fully expanded and takes up a large portion of the screen. I have to manually minimize it each time, which becomes frustrating when working with multiple documents.I've looked through the preferences but haven't found an option that controls this behavior. Ideally, I’d like Acrobat to remember my last layout or allow me to set the Tools pane to stay minimized unless I open it manually.Has anyone found a workaround or setting for this? Any registry edits, scripts, or plugin suggestions would also be appreciated.Thanks in advance!
