Adobe Premiere

So I have updated the Premiere Pro from 25.6.4 to 26.0 and it updated smoothly, then I continued the editing. When I was still in Premiere Pro and decided to move files from one bin/folder to another folder, the software was suddenly not responding then crashing. Well it’s complicated because this happens everytime I reproduce the steps until now. It won’t happen if I do cut/copy then paste, but files can’t use cut feature. Please help me with this case ASAP because this didn’t happen in previous version. Only 26.0 version that causes this issue.

The APIs that allow a GPU accelerated effect to extract its start and end PrTimes on the timeline are inaccessible when the plugin is applied to an adjustment layer. There appear to be no other methods to extract that information, and this makes certain plugins unable to work correctly when applied to adjustment layers. I have about 100 creative LUTs. I can only choose down to about M in my list. Chosing anything beyond that doesn't work. Is there a limit to how many can be installed? If so, why? Mike

 Old workflow (p for pentool, h for moving the frame, select again with p) is gone, new one n.e., my daily mask routine takes now 2-3 times longerno overlays, edges or anchor points showingoverall very buggy and massively counterintuitive WHY did you do it?  

I’m experiencing an error in Premiere Pro that I can’t seem to resolve, despite trying all the recommended solutions I found on Google and YouTube. I believe it might be related to the new Premiere Pro 2025 update. The issue occurs when I try to create a project from the Project Manager to share with my team. I even tried rolling back to the 2024 version, but the same error persists. I also tested this project on a different device, but the error still comes up.   I've attached screenshots below from both versions.     P.S. I’ve already tried clearing the media cache, but the error keeps appearing.

i am working on a existing project and want to add a piece of text on the video. I am choosing the T icon to add the text. I click within the viewer and Premiere crashes.

Guys how is possible with a 128gb ram macbook pro and premiere playback still terrible? Or i still have to use a gamma compensation to match what im editing with the export? like seriously.. Im a loyal customer since years and years, but im getting tired of dealing with bugs all the time, this editor job is already very frustrating at times, and WE the customers need a smooth workflow. Is insane that this bugs still here after years for the prices that we pay monthly. again INSANE.

When I work on a project and come back to it after a few days, one seemingly random video file will be displayed as “Media Offline”. (I did not move the file or modify it).When I delete the file out of my project and try to import it again, I get an error window “File Import Failure, The importer reported a generic import issue.When I open any Premiere Pro Version before the 26 Version, I can import the video without issue and it will never be displayed as offline.This has now happened in all of my V26 projects and I have not found a solution.

After exporting my edited film in Premiere Mobile colours look much darker. Why is that?I used: iPhone 15 pro, filmed with Apple log, latest IOS versionI tried different clips and always it looks darker after export. As soon I do not any grade on the clips everything looks fine and identical between app and exported file.

Hit a snag on a project today that I've never seen before.   The overlay on my sequence for my sources show one timecode but when I match back to source file it's a completely different timecode. For example, my overlay is saying the source timecode is 00:29:41:10 but the actual source timecode is 12:34:29:03.  I'm working with merged clips but I also tried with the original raw files and was running into the same issue. I'm working on the most recent version of the software.

Hello, I just updated to Premiere Pro 2026, and now whenever I add a preset to a clip, the focus switches to the Program Monitor or Effects Panel. Because of that, I can’t zoom in or out in the timeline using + and -. Instead, it zooms the small ruler/timeline under the Program Monitor.It’s pretty annoying to click back on the timeline every time I add a preset just to be able to zoom again, especially when I’m quickly going through a sequence adding multiple presets.Is there any way to stop this behavior or keep the focus on the timeline?

The new mask tool is goo and awesome when it works and you do not need to do anymore, and to do masks of humans and objects inside premiere, but when you need to do your own mask, or arrange track position, change path, I simply can not do that anymore, it’s a mess. and happens a lot when visuals change angles, scale, size, rotations. terrible.

I'm not a fan of when people right click on a clip on the timeline and choose "gain" to decrease volume of a clip because it makes the waveform height go down and look smaller. thats what I love about changing the volume in the effects control tab, it doesnt reduce the size of the waveforms...... until now..... This seems like a bug and makes it a lot more difficult to see definitive waveform patterns when the waveform lengths get smaller when i reduce the volume. Please fix this. When attempting to use the new Object Mask Tool on an interlaced timeline, instead of seeing what you’re trying to mask once you’ve applied the effect, it renders the entire frame black and you cannot see what you are working with.  This appears to be just a DISPLAY issue, as the masked image appears when you do any of the following: render the section, export the section, turn on mute global FX (even though there are no other effects applied to the clip).  If you go into sequence settings and switch it to no fields/progressive, the masked image will also appear. I tried this on multiple effects like opacity and gaussian blur and the same issue occurs if this is done on an interlaced timeline. Running Premiere 26.0.2 on an M2 Ultra, 192GB RAM.Attaching screenshots of a clip with the object selected, then with the mask applied to opacity where you can see the entire image disappears, and then behaving normally when you either switch the timeline to progressive or hit the global FX mute

We’re experiencing extremely long import & export times on the latest long-term supported version of Premiere. We’ve replicated the problem with two different editing computers, same internal components, all of them well above the specifications required for Adobe.On importing and exporting, the progress bar hangs, it’ll take up to an hour to bring in one 20 minute video clip that is 1080i.In testing imports, we experience this issue in any version of Premiere later than 25.2.3.Adobe Premiere Pro version – 25.6.4, 25.3, 25.2.3 Operating system – Windows 11 GPU driver version (Windows only) –NVidia RTX A4000  Video format – nVidia 595.71 Comparative information helps us understand more about when the issue occurs:  Does it affect all projects or only some projects? - All projects, all imports/exports Does it affect new projects? have been using APE 2026 for a while with no issues. I now cannot put a clip on to edit with the video and audio linked. I’ve used the ‘unlink’ in the past and it is nothing connected to that as the menu will not give me the option to ‘link’. Any ideas on how to fix this would be great as it is doing my head in trying to exactly match the cut on video and again on audio. Only thing that works as one is the ripple delete - even if I try to move a clip manually, I have to move video and then go back to move audio as they will not link up in any way! PLEASE HELP
