Oh! Sorry. Open Adobe CCDA > Click on three dots > Preferences > General > Toggle off always keep creative cloud desktop up to date. You can also toggle off the Notifications option. If you want too I hope this will work

As the adobe remove the older version of Adobe applications from their servers that's why it is not authorized anymore. Changes to Creative Cloud Download Availability | Adobe Blog But at this point, it does not appear that they are being automatically deleted from users machines. Adobe do provide support and installation link of Adobe Download legacy versions of Creative Cloud apps Also, if you have adobe creative cloud desktop application then sign out and sign in again from there.

I am not sure about other folders but Adobe application manager is something which can re-create if you launch adobe creative cloud desktop application again or download the AAM from the link : https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774 I suggest to use cleaner tool of Adobe for this to clean the applications and files you don't use. Use the CC Cleaner Tool for installation issues

Then follow the below steps to reset the preferences manually Close all the Adobe applications Open Finder/ Or click on Go option at top of your menu bar of apple icon > "go to folder" > Type : ~/library/preferences in it It will open a folder > Rename or move to trash all the folder name with Adobe Illustrator xx(version) settings as Adobe Illustrator XX settings.old Look for folder name Adobe > Inside Adobe Rename Illustrator as Illustrator.old Now launch Illustrator Again To know how to download previous version of Adobe application through Adobe CC desktop app go through below link Install previous version of your Creative Cloud app

Can you check whether the fonts are corrupt or not? Can you share the error message you get while packaging? Because as per the EULA of Adobe Type Library and Font Folio – do not cover sending font files to third parties, unless that third party has their own license to the same font. (A newer version of the Adobe EULA for Fontspring purchases does allow you to send a copy of fonts to printers for output; refer to your specific EULA version to see what it allows.) Similarly, the terms of service do not allow copying or moving the files that have been activated through the Creative Cloud desktop application. Since packaging is not a supported workflow, each person using the file will need to have the necessary fonts available on their computer, licensed via their own Creative Cloud subscription or through a traditional desktop purchase. I think you feel like if I pay 500+ plus dollars for a year of subscription and cancel it after a year. I am good with not getting update but least allow me too access the application of those apps for which I have already paid for it. But unfortunately, its a disadvantage of the subscription model. But that doesn't mean it is not good. I love the photography plan because in just $10 you get lot of things along with Photoshop application like Adobe fonts, Rush etc. It is okay just try the free services of Adobe. Like Adobe mobile applications and spark. I hope for the best from Adobe in future. Maybe in future they listen their irate customers and try to bulid an offline model application just like its used to but with an innovative way.

Amdav, yes there is bug with 5K screen that's of the size of the menu bar and control panel's text. I don't think its a performance's bug. I am using 16 GB DDR4 Nvidia 1060 6GB GPU and i5 8600K CPU. I never experience any performance issue in my system. May I know that did you tried the steps I have shared with you to resolve this?

Try to check the performance by turning of the GPU. Indesign CC > Preferences > Performance > GPU and animated zoom Validate the fonts in your system by using font book of your MAC Check with other indesign document to check whether its file specific error or the application get hang with every indesign file Try with IDML format of your file Try with the Indesign version 13.1 . Whether that works fine or not

Try to resolve this issue by resetting the preferences of Adobe Illustrator. Option+Command+Shift (macOS) as you start Illustrator. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Illustrator. Or you can perform the below steps to do it manually Step1.) Close all the adobe applications ( force quit) Step 2.) Open a finder window > look for option Go > Inside Go, Choose option " Go to folder" > Type: ~/library/ preferences in it. Step 3.) You will find folders of Adobe illustrators settings. Rename all the folders of Adobe Illustrator by adding old into it. Step 4.) Look for folder name Adobe > Illustrator > Rename it as Illustrator.old Launch the AI again and check whether it resolve the issue or not. Along with it. I suggest you to validate the fonts too from Font book of your mac and check the application without internet too
