Photoshop

I try to use generative fill and I get a message saying this function is not available... Anyone more? Need to work!!

Come on Adobe, please fix it already. Hue/saturation layer adjustmenet is still broken and you have to keep restarting photoshop to get it to work again. This is crazy and this bug made it through so many updates already. Deleteing preferences, reinstalling or switching machines doesn't work. This is a basic function that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Strange toolbar issue!? "free transformation" button is overshadowed by "notifications" button.and so not engage-able. General steps, an opened picture file, then Select All or just selected part, etc.Command A > Comand T So one can alter shape. Normally an icon appears on the toolbar, in casu the free transform icon/button.See pic of it... In this current edition it is hidden behind a 'bel' icon.And so can't engage function. Is there anthore way to engage the function otherwise?In older editions it just works fine. A pprogrammers glitch? Please restore.Is it a language issue? Or also in all other laguage editions?Hope eyou cand find fault. (It is quite hampering workflow).Thanks in advance RCP      

Hi everyone,I’ve just downloaded the latest version of Photoshop, and I’ve run into a strange issue. Whenever I try to apply a feather to a selection, the “Feather Radius” is automatically set to 0.1 px with a blue outline around the input field.I actually want to set it to 0.8 px (which shows a red outline in the input field), but every time I click OK, Photoshop resets it back to 0.1 px.It doesn’t seem to matter what kind of selection tool I use — the setting just won’t stick.Has anyone else experienced this issue, or knows how to fix it?Is this a bug in the latest update, or is there maybe a new preference I need to change?Thanks in advance for any help!

I still feel that the timing sensitivity of 200 milliseconds is too long, and I hope it can be as short as 100 or even 10. I know that both sai2 and csp can achieve less than 200 milliseconds, but the minimum PS is 200 milliseconds.

I'm brand new to photoshop. My drag and drop is not working. Everytime I try it has the circle with the line through it. I've unistalled and updated and even got an earlier version of photoshop and it still wont work. The files are all compatable and will open in new layers but refuse to drag and drop.

Mano, nao sei o que se passou nessa nova atualização, mas uma função que era boa, resolvia muitos problemas. Retrocedeu em MUITO. Esta uma porcaria, pelo preço que cobram por essa plataforma, deveriam apenas melhorar e não transformar a função em inutil.Melhorem, devs.Melhore, Adobe.

can't open photoshop from Bridge. Could yesterday. Not today. Error message. Please provide the fix for this?Thank you.,

I've never had this issue before. After updating to 27, Photoshop freezes every time I click "more fonts" and start going through categories or just scroll the fonts list. If i do this slowly, it takes slightly more time to freeze, but it always stops showing font previews at some point and then freezes shortly after. After that it is only possible to close it through task manager. There is no issue when browsing "your fonts". I installed v26.11.1 and fonts work just fine (although slowly as always). I'm on Win 11, latest version.

I have a file with 11 layers and no images. The size is 1920 x 1080 (72DPI)When I try to save it, Photoshop forces me to save it in Large Format. I looked at the image size box and saw something strange. The dimensions are 1920x1080 and the image size indicates 5.93MBUT the width and height are listed as 26.67 x 15 inches. I don't understand this.

Dear Colleagues, I would like to express my growing dissatisfaction with Adobe products. However, after two decades of utilizing their software professionally, transitioning to a new platform presents a significant challenge. As both a landscape photographer and educator, I rely heavily on Adobe software for my work and teaching. I have conducted research on alternative options; however, I have yet to identify a solution that matches the comprehensive capabilities of Photoshop. Thus far, I have explored Affinity, GIMP, and Pixelmator. While I own Luminar Neo and have previously used Capture One, I believe these applications may serve as potential replacements for Lightroom, yet fall short of replicating Photoshop's functionality. I am reaching out to this community in hopes of identifying a viable alternative to Adobe Photoshop. Your insights and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.  

  I have a problem with the “home button” in Photoshop after updating to the latest version. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t help. Even installing the previous version doesn’t fix it anymore. A dark screen appears with a message about an unknown error. Apart from that, everything works fine once I get into Photoshop itself to work.  

I created a line art then selected it's interior, expand it then paint it to fill. When painting or just filling with alt+backspace it's leaving a low opacity line at the other side, outside the selected area, that bothers me because interfers with the outside stroke that I'm gonne put. How to solve?

Hi I would like to change my default type size in photoshop?  I know about presets. and i know to change the default font i open ps without a document and change it then close photoshop.  I try the same for type size but it changes when creating a new document and depending on the document size it seems to change the default type size? WHY! Thanks in advance

An hour into my project, Photoshop crashed as I was closing out completed files. When reopening PS, no option for autorecover appeared, nor is there an Autorecover folder in the typical location. I checked my preferences and Auto Recovery is selected. I searched online for any changes to how Autorecovery works in PS 2026 with no luck. Thoughts? 

Photoshop 26.10 Windows 10 pro  version 22H2I have tried closing out of session and reentering, resetting the preferences,installing an older version of Photoshop, reading all the helpful suggestions from previous posters. I'm not sure how to reproduce this problem, I'm trying to resolve it. The trouble is, on the color picker hex ff0000 looks like ff7800.If I fill a shape on screen it looks right.But what is the potential problem?   

Photoshop (27.0) crashes multiple times a day and what seems to be at completely random points. I am always using the latest updates but it's doesn't seem to have helped. It's really irritating and time consuming at the busiest time of year. I'd be grateful for any help getting to the bottom of this.I send reports every time it crashes .

Desde hace un par de semanas, con el photoshop beta, y ahora con la versión 2026, cuando quiero usar la herramienta de quitar fondo automaticamente y la de seleccionar sujeto, el programa se congela, y además bloquea mi ordenador forzandome a hacer un apagado forzoso, y solo pasa con estas dos herramientas, a alguien mas le esta pasando?

Hola! Necesito poder guardar una imagen de varias capas (con modos de capa diferentes, máscaras de capa, etc.), en formato tiff, pero no me deja guardarlo conservando las transparencias. Habría alguna forma de que me deje guardar las transparencias y pueda descartar las capas???? Si alguien me pudiera ayudar se lo agradecería muchísmo porque llevo dándole vueltas hasta el infinito. Un saludo!!!!!

This bug just happened very recently for me. Other features may be missing but I am not sure.I am using the latest chrome on android (Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra) with keyboard and mouse.Some help or information would be useful. Thanks.

Photoshop 26.11.0, Topaz Photo 1.01, Topaz Gigapixel 1.02, Windows 10.  Either Topaz filter invoked through File Automate on an image which has been cropped or rotated in Photoshop with the Delete cropped pixels option turned off crashes Photoshop on return from the filter.  I strongly suspect this is a Topaz bug. Topaz say it is a Photoshop bug.  Maybe someone can confirm either way.

Hello all,This may seem like an extremely amateurish question but today I've been having the hardest time making an animation of a person walking using keyframes in photoshop timeline animation. Basically, I want each leg component to rotate every time he takes a step, and for the position of the leg component to change as he's moving forward. Bottom line: I want to animate the rotation and position of a layer.I set my keyframes up accordingly, and the position animated just fine, but I'm having serious trouble with the rotation. I move my ticker over the keyframe, hit ctrl+T, and rotate, but the rotation is applied to the entire animation and not just that keyframe. I'm so confused. Then I tried, in the timeline panel, changing the motion from "custom" to "rotate", but the problem this time was that when i tried rotating it, it disregarded my anchor point no matter where I dragged it to and just rotated around the middle. HOW do I get rid of that annoying Myriad font? I need another font for my work and every time I open a new image my selected font is GONE and myriad is the only one I see. I have to then go to the other end of the alphabet to reach the font I NEED ... each and every time I open a new image. And I have over 80 images to do this week. The waiting to get through a hundred fonts to reach the one I need is abysmal. Why can't the one I need stay put and myriad keep it's nose out of my work?Thanks
