Photoshop

Hi Recently my company changed to adobe teams or something and now I have no generative credits.  They do not understand my need for these (ug) so I tried using the browser version of photoshop and it does have the credits, or at least I am able to use generative fill.  WHy is this?  I would just use the browser version but it does not give me an option to save to my hard drive only to the cloud.  Can anyone provide me with some insight on what is happening?  Thanks

Hi guys!Recently i was working in a way to improve a script that i use to run some files in photoshop, through automator, but i cant find a way to work; let me explain:So, i have a folder structure that is:- Pasta mãe       ENVIO OS                 1                2                3                ....What i need is a script for automator, (could be shell or Applescript, but manly shell), that first the script locate the folder that have "ENVIO OS", inside the Pasta mãe;Than in photoshop, runs a ".JSX" file called "Mesclagem de arquivo interno.JSX", that is located in the path "/Users/tratamento/Documentos/Scripts Finais/Mesclagem de arquivos interno.JSX", in the folder "ENVIO OS";can someone help me, with this script for automator, that makes Photoshop 2025, runs this script?

Hi folks, TL;DR: I am trying to find (or create) a way to automatically relink all linked objects across multiple subfolders from a shared drive in a single PSD upon opening the file in Photoshop CC for MacOS. Long version: I work in a studio where PS files must be shared between a team of artists and many of us touch the files at different points in the process. We have container PSDs with multiple linked objects in each, and the source files for the linked objects are stored on a shared Google Drive. MacOS changes the base directory for the shared drive to each person's username and Google Drive has its own credentials, so that even when the relative folder placement remains the same (ex. SharedDrive/Folder/Workfiles/Example.psd) the absolute path changes upstream from the files, forcing each artist to relink all the files manually at open. (ex. Users/NameNameson/Library/CloudStorage/GoogleDrive-namenameson@companyname.com/SharedDrive/Folder/Workfiles/Example.psd)We have di

Today, I noticed that Export As is trimming out invisible pixels automatically.  In the screen shot, my image is 3072x1024. Export As treats it as a trimmed down 2734x437. This is not at all what I need. Is there a checkbox to turn this off? -- Save for Web (Legacy) does save out without trimming, however I try and avoid using that tool anymore, since I am affraid Adobe will someday remove it entirely.  

Cropping a lot of images one by one. Need your help to speed up the process. Final image should be : Aspect ratio 3:4. Keep the background color.(might change...but mostly in the 240-255 values) Center the subject. Crop above the nose. Any help is appreciated !

How to set Mixer Brush to use "Load Solid Colors Only" by default? I hate having to open up that flyout menu to change it every single time I have to sample a color with a mixer brush.

I wonder some times if Adobe are sitting on different computers than the rest of the planet. Have this update been tested? Do you try the new features on high res images 5000+ pixels?For me I'm experiences lags like never before. In particular:-Free transform has a sluggish delay, particularly if the object is a smart object. -Moving a layer is slow, probably because of the new auto highlight layer feature. -transforming a layer with a rotate or anything, takes time, even showing a progress bar for the simplest transform procedures.  Something must have been added to this update that makes everything a lot slower. I'm sitting on a 7980x Threadripper with 5ghz 32 core CPU, 128 gb of fast ram and yet its moving in syrup.

Il est bien séléctionné mais impossible de le déplacer avec la souris, il faut que j'utilise les flèches, ou passer par édition, transformation manuelle... I've had a Photoshop/Illustrator sub for several years. According to the generative credits FAQ, as seen in the attached image, I should be getting 500 credits/month. But when I check my account, it looks like I'm only getting 250 credits/month, as seen in the attached image. What's going on with this ?   One of them has to be wrong, yes ??thanks for any help

Can anyone explain to me why Adobe Photoshop Express was suddenly installed on my machine? I turned the computer on one day to be met with the message it installed and this was without my prompt or permission. Is there some kind of reason for this? Does standard Photoshop need this installed? I'm slightly annoyed because I have reasons not to install more programs at the moment. Any help appreciated.

Helllo, I need help! whenever i merge down my pattern in blendings style > hardmix  it loses the orginal effect that I like.Ive tried everything, Is there a way around this?Sam 

Something  that would resemble hires  google map style or dron generated ariel picture ?    It's alredy extremly hard to do actually  since Photoshop always tends to rotate camera  in more perspective like style   and do kind of blurry images   .  So I wonder can i  generate  it by smaller parts . like udim  parts  but  terrain  details like roads  and rivers  be  continuing  properly from one part to another so together would constitute a bigger image  covering maybe 2x2 km at least  with each part  like 300m maybe?Ideally following some  macro  mask  example  like splat map?

From LR, I selected several images and selected the noted command.Focus shifts from LR to PS and then just sits there. No further activity.No dialog boxes either, for either LR or PS.SO: PS gets some sort of wakeup notification.==============Never mind. It seems a version upgrade was not smoothed out, so machine specific preferences (whatever they are) tripped up PS. Killing PS and restarting it got it working, along with the annoucements about all the new wonderful stuff. Suggestion to Adobe: if the formatting of a supporting file changes, then the follow on versions either need to translate to the new format OR AT A MINIMUM INFORM USERS TO QUIT AND RESTART. So this is an upgrade compatibility bug. Thank you.

I have a photoshop file with about 20 layers. I am trying to grab three of them that need to stay together and move them. They all have alpha channels, so when I select the layers, then try to grab & move using my mouse, I end up selecting the background layer and causing it to move. I'm unable to move the three layers I want to move together using my mouse. I tried putting them in a Group folder but that didn't help; when I try to grab & move with my mouse, it ends up selecting and moving the background layer. I can move by keyboard (Shift-V), but the image is 9960 x 5599, so moving the three layers that way is too slow.

Hey everyone, long ago I made this script with some help but right now I totally forget all about scripting and I need a little update. What it does is just combining several layers into a smart object, and rename it to the bottom layer. Now, if possible I want to copy the layer's color as well. Since last week my Design team began having issues with links they send using the Share For Review function in Photoshop.  Everyone who has selected these links get a Error 404 message. We have tried clearing browser cookie cache and history with no success. I've seen other posts in Adobe Community about Illustrator users experiencing the same problem the past several days with no fix.Thank you

I'm a heavy user of Photoshop (2023) and Lightroom Classic (12.5), running current versions of both, and also have Photoshop Beta 2024 installed. Today (September 8, 2023), the PS 2024 Beta performed an automatic update. After this, the feature to open multiple RAW files as layers in PS (open as layers in Photoshop) from Lightroom Classic is no longer working (into PS 2023). Fortunately, I still have the PS 2022 version on my Windows 10 PC and when I open that version of PS first, Lightroom can once again open multiple files as layers in Photoshop. I've been using the "open as layers" function for years. I suspect that something occurred with the 2024 Photoshop Beta that affected this feature in PS 2023. Any thoughts, solutions, or workarounds would be extremely welcome. Thank you.

The Layers menu no longer keeps Merge Down, Merge Visible, and Flatten Image in a fixed location. These options now shift based on context (active tool, layer type, visibility), breaking muscle memory and slowing down professional workflows. This behavior used to be consistent—Merge Visible was always at the bottom. Now it’s unpredictable and disruptive.Request: Please restore fixed menu positioning or add a preference to lock menu order. This is not a feature request—it’s a regression in usability.
