Photoshop

Hi.So I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS6 with the updates and everything .I have trouble with the content aware move tool.When I select the image I want to move ( well actually when I move it ) Photoshop doesn't delete the previous image ( that I tried to move ) and leaves it under the new one ( moved ) .If somebody have similar problem and has fixed it please tell me . Also I'm a beginner so if there is some sort of setting I have to know about and that causes the problem please let me know .Thanks for your time .Have a nice day .Edit: I want to use it on transparent background

I'm trying to open a .PSDC file from within Photoshop, but I can't find Adobe Cloud button via File->Open.What am I doing wrong? Or, do I need an eye exam?

In PhotoShop is there a methodolgy for automatically refitting an oval image into a perfect circle? I have oval images of abstract colors I want to reshape to fit a perfect circle without cropping any of the image.Yes, this will distort the image and that is okay for my purposes.The only method I know of is using the warp tool, but that is very "freehand" and imprecise. Or, if not in PhotoShop, maybe another program like Illustrator? Thank you in advance for your advice. Using PhotoShop 25.5 / OS 15.3.2

D'un coup j'ai ce message. Je ne cherche pas a trouver une autre fonction pour enregistrer et contourner le probleme, je souhaite corriger ce probleme.Est-ce que quelqu'un a deja eu ce souci? C'est un truc de fou !Je suis full admin sur mon poste (macbook pro 2,6 GHz Intel Core i7 6 cœur - 14.7.5 (23H527))

I'm pretty new to photoshop, so sorry if this is something simple, but I have searched high and low and cannot find a solution.I have an image that I have dithered in other software. This means that the image is made up of only black and white dots. If I drag the image into Photoshop, it innitially shows up as just black and white dots, but as soon as the image is placed it becomes a greyscale version of the image with hues of grey surrounding the black and white dots. For what I want to do, I need it to be pure black and white like the original image. How can I accomplish this?What I have tried so far:I ensured that the canvas size is the exact same as the image, so that the pixels should correspond.I tried playing around with Image -> Mode settings, but none of those make any difference. Please Help.Thank you

Guess how many times I dismiss the properties panel in an average work day? It doesn't matter. The point is that once I've explicitly dismissed it - the panel it needs to stop reappearing. It's just as annoying as the pixel width and height box that appears anchored to a transformation box when you're trying to resize an image over a template. No, I take that back... the Properties Panel is MORE annoying because it insists on floating its boxy little body over my precious screen real estate and doesn't go away by itself. You have to tell it over and over. I would almost prefer putting a big piece of duct tape over that portion of the screen and convincing myselt that it's broken there instead of constantly having to dismiss that demon box from... Window. Not intuitive. At. All.   Any solutions or medication suggestions are welcome. Thaank you.  

I had just got my laptop back from repairs and they ended up replacing pretty much everything so I installed Photoshop 2023 again on Windows 11 but I noticed that with HDR turned on, all whites are yellows instead. This problem does not appear with HDR off, but I prefer having it on. I used to have HDR on all the time while using Photoshop before my motherboard was replaced, I don't understand why it's acting up now all of a sudden.I suppose I can deal with this issue if I can easily toggle HDR on and off with a keyboard shortcut or something similar but not even that is working, even with gamebar installed properly. I'm unsure how to fix either of these issues.

When I open the Black and White Adjustment Layer in Photoshop I only get three color sliders: Red, Yellows and Greens.  I thought that I'm support to see six color sliders. Please let me know how can I fix this issue.Thanks,Montevideano

The enterprise is using the Photoshop CS6.0 permanent license.I'm trying to install that license on a new PC, but it says that it's already in use and I can't use it.I think it was installed on a PC that was discarded among the existing PCs, but I can't find that PC.I want to deactivate the license that was previously registered and install it on a new PC, what should I do?

I recently bought the new model camera's sony RX100m7A and ZV1A. The RAW-files made with these camera models are neglected by PS and LR due to the different modelnumber. Could you please include them in the next CameraRAW version V17.3. These camera/modelnumbers have been updated by Sony due to a hard- and software change lately and the 'A' was added. The RAW-files are nog recognized as valid.Please fix.

Hi,I'm encountering an issue with the Generative Fill feature in Photoshop. When I try to use it and enter a description in the text box, I receive an error message saying: "Please check your internet connection."However, my internet connection is stable and works perfectly fine for other tasks.I have already tried the following steps to fix the issue:1. Restarting Photoshop.2. Verifying my internet connection, which is working fine.3. Updating Photoshop to the latest version.4. Logging out and logging back into my Adobe account. Could anyone please assist me in resolving this issue? I would really appreciate any help.Thank you in advance!

Oi Pessoal, tudo bem? As últimas atualizações do Photoshop e Illustrator estão horríveis pra mim. Extremamente lentas e travando o tempo todo, até para arrastar um pequeno objeto de lugar trava. Alguém está passando por esse problema também? Tenho problema até pra fazer uma peça de feed em 1080x1080 em 72 dpi. Isso não é normal.  OBS: Não é a minha máquina. Troquei a 3 meses para o Macbook M2 e tava funcionando tudo normal até que atualizarão as versões do photoshop e illustrator para 2024 e ficou dando esses problemas.

2018 intel mac minimacOS 13 ventura (occurred with macOS 12.xx too) Ever since the released of ps2022 and beyond, keyboard shortcuts do not behave consistently. In one good bit of news, ps2023 has this occur far less often but it still remains roughly 20% of the time. What is happening is when I press my shortcut key, the icon in the tool bar will darken (as if pressed) but as soon as I release the key, the tool I want will deselect and return to the tool I'm currently using. To resolve this, I tap the keyboard shortcut for the tool I want many times quickly. Then it will stick. It primarly affects all brush tools. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all adobe cc apps with no luck. I have deleted ps preferences with no luck as well. I have tried another keyboard thinking the one I'm using might be defective somehow, but the bug remains.Edit 12/6/22 - This is a "feature" added in photoshop versions after 2021. Version: 21.0.1  Mac OS 10.15.1   Trying to insert an Emoji via the glyphs panel, into a text box, and all I get are "Wingdings" in the text box. The result is the same whether I use the "EmojiOne" pallette, or the "Apple Color Emoji" pallette. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I've been looking for the Photoshop plugin SDK for Windows (for making things like 8BF filter files, and 8BI image loading plugins, etc), but Adobe seems to have hidden those SDKs outside of Google's ability to find them with its web crawlers. I can't find any link via Google that even gets me to an Adobe downloads page that would let me download the SDK. The closest thing I get is the webpage for the Photoshop CS plugins SDK, which requires I do stuff in Javascript (not C++ like standard Photoshop plugins), and it seems to not be so much a Photoshop plugin as it is an Adobe ecosystem plugin (even requiring me to have an API key to make a plugin). It seems to be more of a "connected" thing (interfaces with the internet, more than interfacing with Photoshop). Even the file extension isn't the same anymore. Now it seems to be UXP too. I know for a fact this has nothing to do with classic Photoshop. This is some new thing for Photoshop CS, which I don't have. I have quite an older version

When I group layers with control C, the group created is sometimes " Normal " and not "Pass Through" Is this a bug or  am I doing something to change to new group. [Moderator include bug as attachment]

Did Adobe remove the ability to rotate the brush using a keyboard shortcut while using the Clone Stamp tool? I can only find shortcuts for changing brush size and hardness, but rotation is missing—even in the keyboard shortcuts settings. When cloning complex areas, this is essential—like along the edge of a strap or a shirt.

I have a rectangular JPG graphic placed on top of a solid color background. I want to the graphic to fade to transparent on the right edge, blending into the background. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to make it fully fade—there is always a harsh edge. Is there a way to achieve a gradient that fades softly all the way to transparent? I took a screenshot of just the problem area to demonstrate the issue I'm facing. I am a generalist at a nonprofit trying to make it all work, so my apologies if this question reveals general ignorance of Photoshop's functionality. I feel like there should be a simple solution, and I'm losing my marbles after scouring the internet for answers for hours and trying everything I can think of. 

When objects are placed partly over the edge of the canvas and then repositioned in Photoshop, the objects are cut off. This is a new problem that started with the last update. Hi there,Firstly, I'm on Windows 10, 64 bit. I discovered a horrible "bug" with Photoshop version 22.5.0 (and I’m not sure if it’s the case with other versions of Photoshop as well). This is also a bug with a font so there could be some OS implications as well. I know this story is longish, so you can see my bolded fix at the bottom if you want to skip the details 😊. Months ago I downloaded a font Archivo from fonts.google.com and installed it on my system. Everything was seemingly normal when I created templates and populated text into them. PowerPoint was running into issues with embedding the font post PDF generation which was odd. A collegue who was helping me with the issue, was initially having trouble embedding fonts in her Powerpoint to PDF tests but then she uninstalled and reinstalled the font from Google again and it seemed to be fine (which wasn’t the case on my end).
