Photoshop

I just updated to latest version of PHotoshop and now when I try to select subject I get this message Could not complete the subject command select.  Subject classifier model not loaded correctly.  I am running on latest version of Windows 11.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PS but that did not help.  Any ideas?

Например, папка стена кирпича и его маска, а здесь стена бетонная. Внутри папки просто корректируем цвет. Папки 10-20 на проект. Но после того, как ретушь закончена, клиент часто просит изменить геометрию объекта. Кирпичная стена увеличивается, бетонная стена уменьшается, все маски меняются после рендеринга. По сути, ретушь остается, но нужно поменять все маски. Вопрос, можно ли организовать это автоматически в фотошопе. Чтобы все маски вели в общее хранилище. Я просто заменяю все файлы в этом хранилище и все. Есть ли такая возможность в фотошопе?

When I move an object (doesn't matter if it's smart, vector, raster, imported), and I'm holding down the SHIFT key to move it in a straight line, the object keeps snapping back into it's original position. If I don't hold down SHIFT then it doesn't do that. What. The. $(*@?!?!! Yes, I updated my Wacom tablet driver, but I don't think that's the issue because if I use my mouse or trackpad, same problem. Is there a new setting I'm not aware of or is there some new option in Preferences that needs to be selected. Trying to access drawings/illustrations that we had on a server. But when I download the .psd (or .eps for illustrator) files and try to open them, it doesn't work: "Photoshop does not recognize this type of file" How did this happen? Is there a way to fix this? Is there a way to see/access the files? They show up as completely normal files after I download them, nothing seems weird about them until I try to open them.  Photoshop version: 26.2Illustrator version: 29.2.1Windows 11

Hello!Since Photoshop 26.0.0 release, I've noticed some changes during the process of my scripts. Everytime I use an instruction to edit some text features, the text is getting highlighted (selected) and the script is interrupted (until I press enter) Examples of text editing:layer.tracking = 0; layer.verticalScale = 100; layer.horizontalScale = 100; layer.font = someFont; layer.size = someSize;(with that example, I need to press enter before each instruction to be applied...)Before the update, it was working well; all modifications were applied to the text in a row.Does anyone have an idea of why this behaviour is occurring? I would really appreciate your help since my script is now totally useless... 

The profile I created for my printer/paper combination is available for soft proofing in both Photoshop and Lightroom classic. It fails to show up in the list of profiles when printing in either Photoshop or Lightroom classic. I tried to reinstall an older version of the OS – Sonoma – but the computer gives the message that the OS cannot be downgraded. Has anyone figured out how to solve this problem or find a work-around? I scanned a piece of handwriting as a PNG document. I then opened it in Photoshop CS4 and, under Save for Web and Devices, optimized the image (which included removing some ugly red lines that were on the original paper). I then saved the document as a gif.   WhenI opened the new gif file, however, I discovered that the image is now on a locked layer, named "index." How can I unlock this layer -- or can I?   As I mentioned above, I removed some reds in the original image when I optimized it. I'd like to create a new background layer in the gif that will fill the transparent lines that were created when I removed the colors. If i can't unlock the new gif's "index" layer, can anyone advise me on how to create a new background layer/color?   Thank you.

Ich habe tiff Dateien auf einer externen Festplatte, welche an meiner Fritzbox angeschlossen ist, gespeichert. Leider kam es dabei scheinbar zu einem Fehler, denn nun kann ich die Dateien nicht mehr öffnen und erhalte oben genannte Meldung.Kann ich das Problem noch irgendwie beheben oder sind die Dateien verloren?

I am taking a class about using adobe capture patterns in Photoshop.  When I go into the edit menu and select presets, then preset manager, I am only given two options: contours and tools.  The prerecorded class says I should have: brushes, swatches, gradients, styles, patterns, and custom shapes all in the "preset manager type" drop down menu as options.  I do not.  I am trying to find out how to get these options.  I am working with windows.  I have not had any previous versions of photoshop installed, and I am using the CC version which provides me with the latest updates regularly.

Hi,  I am looking to fade out a layer from left to right in video animation. Is it possible to do the fade out over time? I am using photoshop 26.2.

Can anyone reproduce this bug?- Create a new document, RGB 8 bit, untagged.- Fill it with #ff0000- Go to View -> Pattern Preview- Use the color picker, set it to Point Sample and Sample All Layers- Pick the red color *outside* of the canvas (depicted by the thin border)The picked color is not #ff0000 but #e43316.If I use the color picker inside the canvas, it picks the correct color. Using 26.2.0 and Windows 10.

Hi, having created a psd file with text arial regular in 26.2 when I open it inti CS6 it warns me the text engine is different, havent a clue what to do next.I always use arial regular, in CS6 and now 26.2As 26.2 has issues I am trying to resolve I can get work done quicker in CS6, so need to go between the two.tells me to go to prefs and switch the text engine restart pshop and start again.I dont want to not be able to open all my work this last 10 years with then a warning it uses different text engine switch it back to what I have been using, I have a bad feeling over this.warning is :- Also forwards compatibility !  If I have text on a CS6 or earlier, file, it warns some text layers need to be updated before they can be used for vector based output .,  no - update - learn more.  so if I do that then opening it again in CS6 is going to complain when it started life there and was ok there. Merlin3

Hi community. is there a way in PS to be able to select the same apperance of layers which have the same colour, the same way it can be done in Illustrator? I have 10 groups, and in each group there is a black background that I want to hide or remove all at once.  Thank you.  

it's jan 20th, 2025 and working with generative fill is a terrible option. The workarounds suggested by adobe team itself are unpresentable and unprofessional. I need a fix now! I'm using Photoshop V26.2.0   Been trying to expand a basic ocean surface for a picture and it keeps giving plain no textured images or waves that looks like carpets and has nothing to do with the raw image wavy surface... your tool can't detect and create water surface??? pff, it can't even detect the waves direction to copy them, at bests it gives me wavy water that doesn't correlate with the rest of the water surface >.< [removed by moderator]   This has been advertised as the most advanced artificial intelligence tool and is far from being usable. I don't care if i need to use 1080x1080 squares or a camera raw workaround, it should work as advertised IN the APP! While I can get a level of improvement, I still see a lot of artifacts. Some times it looks like half tone pattern and other times it is horizontal lines through the image. I've been playing with different things and can clean it up to a degree but am not seeing the improvement I would have expected using the neural filter. I've been able to go through the following progression of Milord o Mendip but I was expecting more cleanup of the scratches and horizontal lines in the photos. Colorize just gave me a brownish tone to the lighter areas of the image. I tried Color Transfer to move the colors of the Blue MC (yes in cat world we call that color grey blue) to the Milord o Mendip image but it didn't do anything except give the entire image a very patchy yellowish green cast. I know I can put a different background in manually but I really need the color of the MC coat to transfer to the Milord image. Am I doing something wrong with the neural filter? Or is there a different approach

Hey y'all, I'm once again asking weird stuff.So, to post my work, I need to export it and post it in whatever hosting service, but, I was checking some documents metadata using the built-in feature, and I noticed that when using the "Save as" (png in my case), it has a ton of info, sometimes even has the layers contents, which I do not want people to know(i'm not doxxing myself with this, right?)So, when using "Export for web", I can get a much cleaner data log,As short as this, I even tried other programs to export my files, and I have the same results.So I was wondering, how short can we get? I mean, the only part that shows something "personal" is the photoshop version, so not much to be worried about now (Maybe even the creation time, since I release stuff at certain specific dates and I don't want people to know when I got my files...), but I was wondering if there's a way to get even cleaner files. Hope you guys can help me out on this one, thank you all!!!

Est-il possible que chaque sauvegade dans PS soit sauvegardée automatiquement avec certaines infos de bases telles que Auteur, Description, Keywords, Copyright, etc? C'est à dire, toute image sauvegardée auraient ces infos de base sans que je ne les ajoute individuellement à chaque image? (je ne parle pas des exifs qui elles suivent automatiquement, mais bien des infos de base dans File --- File Info --- Basic. MERCI.

Hi,CS6 or 26.2Is there a way to select an area and have it take on the hue of another selected area ?I have a long roof and its got some translucent orange light creep running over part of it from a leaky camera body 35mm era.I can see same detail, just its a different hue.I wish to make it same as the roof beside that orange streak. Either select it as a mask in photoshop, then sample the good area and say source this hue to the masked area, or select the good roof and paint that hue over the wonky area. a hue transfer brush,, or some other way. I also had grass same need., a translucent orange light creep across it. Is there a clever way of selecting the afflicted orange streak area and having a selection made in an auto way ? Capturing the edges fade better than with a brush and softness. using the method again on the trees, colour mode best, but  I cannot get them to the same punchy appearance as those immediate left of them, , trying levels contrast hue sa

Hello,I'm having trouble resolving a mystery here. I recall Photoshop's color picker having the option to display out of gamut color zones as grayed out areas.  I cannot seem to find this function now (Im using version 24.4.1). Here is a picture of how it used to look (greyed out zones in color picker). Is this no longer a feature in photoshop or am I doing something wrong? I've tried turning on gamut warning but it doesnt affect color picker.Thanks
