Photoshop Elements

I have just paid and downloaded Elements 2026 specifically to use the generative AI features.  Every Gen AI "insert image" prompt I try I get the message "We cannot process this prompt.  Please edit and try again".  The help forums refer to breaching of AI guidelines - but I get this trying to create simple images - e.g. a cat. My "complimentary" credits are still full - 35.  The only way to increase this in future appears to be to subscribe to a monthly package - there is no way to buy a bunch of credits. All in all, the experience has been disappointing so far. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve been using Photoshop Elements for about 7 years and save most of my edited files as JPEG, using MAX quality option (I save the unedited originals, and RAW files when I use them in editing, offline). As my disk storage space now sometimes shrinks below 10 percent free space, I’m wondering whether MAX really bought me anything useful, versus using HIGH, which would have resulted in my having a lot more free disk space. I don’t publish or sell my photos. I sometimes share them with friends, and once in a while show them on my 60-inch TV, and that’s the extent of their use. Opinions?

Went to my adobe products page and noted all my old versions, prior to pse 2020 are no longer listed.   Not that big of a deal- I only use them to help answer questions.   I used to have all versions of PSE back to pse 2010, now my product listing stops at pse 2020.I seem to recall reading here that others have had the same thing happen.I have not changed payment method or account info in years.Anyone else note this?

Ordered this software via DELL.  At the website, only Adobe Premiere Elements were downloaded(Help form Dell tech support).  The incorrect software was downloaded? How do I fix this?Also, Premiere Elements Icon does not show a complete Adobe Elements Screen for editing?I might have to delete the above and move onto another software? If I can not get help on the above?Sy SBG 

Using Adobe Elements 2026 on a Windows 11 with 16gb ram so plenty to play with but its so painfully slow on start up, loading photos in the organiser and editor and it lags behind when editing, only started the slowdown this week….please advise as one is rather frustrated by the slowness?

This hasn't been an issue for me until today where suddenly after trying to import a JPG picture where it crashed my Photoshop now everything is importing through Camera Raw, I don’t want to process it through camera raw I have bulk to process and i’m not interested in clicking this prompt hundreds of times.Ive disabled everything in the Camera Raw settings, Supposedly WEBP Was native to Photoshop since 23.2 and I stopped using WEBPShop years ago due to native support but now I’m forced to convert it through Camera Raw?This doesn’t seem right.I am thinking of rolling back my Photoshop version as resetting to defaults hasn’t achieved anything.

Hallo in die Runde,wie bekomme ich denn bei Photoshop Elements 2025 eine aktuellere Version des Adobe Camera RAW installiert?Momentan läuft in meiner Photoshop Elements 2025 die Version ACR 17.0. Versuche ACR auf Version 18.0 oder aktueller zu bringen funktioniert leider nicht. Eigentlich hatte ich ja erwartet, dass bei einem 3 Jahres “Abo” von PSE 2025 diese in der Laufzeit auch immer mit den aktuellen Updates versorgt werden würde. 

In the organizer People panel on the Names side, there are triangles noting new faces are found and when one clicks, there is a section to confirm those faces.  Sometimes Confirm/Not This person works as expected but I see the following erroneous behaviors:Click on confirm or not this person but the entry remains. The overlay check/not symbols do not display and the circle seems dead. The circle image is drawn incorrectly with half of the circle on top and half on the bottom as though the entry is mis-framed. Blank spaces appear in the array of circles.It is difficult to go through the entries when they are not functioning correctly. Is there a workaround or fix for this?thanks

When my Elements 14 licence expired I upgraded to Elements 26 only to discover that I cannot run it with Windows 10. How do I get a refund?

using Photoshop Elements 2024 on Windows 10.  Clone tool is not working, started yesterday. I get a message that says the opperation could not be compleated because no pixels were selected. tells me to alt click on source. I HAVE been doing that! repeatly. also, in addition to the message box coming up, I get my computers , I don't know what it's called - the area that tells a person what is on thier computer so something could be selected.  It comes up too at the same time. I am wondering if Adobe is doing this delibertly to get me to purchase the 2025 version of Elements?  ( I have gone to Preferences and clicked on reset at next launch. ) problem continues. 

I need to temporarily deactivate my licenses for PS and PE Elements 2024.I’m getting ready to send my computer to Dell for service. This may require them to replace the hard drive. If this happens, I want to reinstall the apps on the new hard drive. Last year, I had my computer serviced, and PS Elements stopped working with a license error saying I had installed it on too many computers. Support said there was no way to unlock it, and my only option was to buy 2025. After pushing and pushing, the support team was able to give me a new serial number for PS 2024. I don’t want this to happen again. I want to deactivate before sending my computer away and free up my license to reinstall if I have to. I looked at my products page online, but didn’t see any way to turn it off for this computer until I get it back. 

I am using elements 2026 and need to remove glasses glare from a photo

I would appreciate finding a solution to deleting a missing file that prevents the ' Reconnect All Missing Files ' action from completion. I am working with PSE 2024 on a Windows  11 PC desktop which is new and updated. When I initiate  Reconnect All Missing Files ' , it quickly identifies all the photos except one. It is the top half (orange roof) of the desktop icon for the Window Home folder. I think it represent a file that is so large that PPSE cannot generate a thumbnail in the left side. Since there is no thumbnail, I cannot reconnect the 'HOME' icon. I cant find it i the catalog and cant delete it.  Interesting enough, this one missing file does not prevent backing up the catalog.  I have no idea about how the icon got into the catalog.

I juts bought a Selphy CP 1500 and have the exact same problem using photoshop elements 24did you find a solution?

Leider erkennt PSE 2026 keine Plugins.Ich habe mehrere Plugins, welche sich in einem seperaten Ordner befinden.Unter Voreinstellungen - Zusatzmodule, kann man ja den Ordner angeben. Bei PSE 2025 funktionierte es einwandfrei, PSE 2026 erkennt aber nichts. Hat jemend eine Ahnung, warum dies so ist? Wie kann ich die Plugins auch in PSE 2026 verwenden?

When I apply default (cross dissolve) transition to all clips on the timeline, PSE applies a transition to the beginning of the first clip. Since there is nothing to transition from, the transition is applied at the beginning of the first clip, which results in a second or two of black screen before the first clip becomes visible. My question is, why wouldn’t Adobe apply a transition only at the intersection of 2 clips? That would make more sense. I doubt that anybody really wants that black screen to start things off. I know there are a couple ways to work around the issue, but Adobe should fix that in the next generation.

I have been using Photoshop Elements 14 very happily for 3 years but had to renew my licence thus upgraded to Elements 26. I am using Windows 10 and and the upload chugs along for 10 minutes or so until complete, ending with a page saying ‘Opening the Photoshop Elements app’….and that’s where it stays.

Je ne peux utiliser que les profils Adobe, quand je veux sélectionner ceux de mon appareil photo (Sony A7 IV) je reçois un rapport d’erreur et PSE se ferme.J’ai transmis le rapport mais il reste sans réponse à ce jour (ci joint copie d’écran du rapport)Merci pour votre aide. 

In Photoshop Elements 2024 for Windows, is there any way to set Adobe RGB as the default color profile in the Edit workspace?  I want to save all psd files as Adobe RGB for printing, but Elements now uses sRGB as the default.  I have color setting set as "Always Optimize for Printing", which I interpret as meaning the RGB profile is used.  However, when I save an image as psd, it still indicates that the sRGB profile is in use.  Does unselecting the sRGB setting in the Save pop-up mean the file will be saved with the RGB profile.   Earlier versions of Elements allowed Adobe RGB to be set as the default color profile and I think this should still be available in current and future versions.   I really hate manually changing color profile as part of the work flow for each image, and I haven't tried to use automation settings to change the color profile.

how to merge two images of different sizes 

I do what I have to on my image, go to Create, select print photo, I change the size and the whole PSE screen disappears. I have tried several pictures and the all do the same. Canon printer is connect correctly. Printer screen on PSE shows correct printer.

I do not understand why my photoshop elements 2022 that I purchased , now doesnt want to open at all when I did an upgrade on my macbook pro to Tahoe 26.1 ....No answers from photoshop,no answers from Apple ....just a simple answer Yes we know but it is what it is Quite irresponsible answer ....

Hallo,ich habe mir PSE 2023 gekauft, weil mein bisheriges PSE 2019 wohl nicht kompatibel mit Windows 11 ist. Premiere und Photoshop Elements laufen nun auf dem neuen PC.Von PSE 2019 habe ich ein Backup auf eine externe HD erstellt, um die mit PSE 2023 zu importieren. Restore funktioniert insofern, als es die Bilder und Videos in alter Struktur anlegt. Damit bin ich einverstanden, es sind auch die Datei-Daten korrekt übernommen worden. Der nächste automatisch ablaufende Schritt war die Konvertierung. Darunter verstehe ich die Aufnahme in den PSE-Browser-Katalog mit der Restaurierung der eingepflegten Tags und Bilderkennungs-Ergebnisse. Dieser Vorgang scheitert mit der Meldung:“Die Konvertierung des Katalogs ist fehlgeschlagen. Versuchen Sie, den Katalog mithilfe der Erstellungssoftware zu reparieren und wiederholen Sie die Konvertierung. Weitere Details finden Sie im Hilfetext zu Konvertierungsfehlern.”Ich habe die Aktion nun 2x durchgeführt (beim ersten Versuch gab es eine Fehlermeldun

I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 in December, 2024. I can't open the app. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times without any luck. I've found someone who has the similar issues with Photoshop, but haven't had any solutions.The app expires in 3 years.
