Beta Build 30.7.11 Release Notes

Hello,Latest Beta Build 30.7.11 is now available in CCD. We have below fixes in this build: Relink Multiple Links — More ControlThe Relink file picker now includes a Replace dropdown so you can choose exactly how many links get updated when several selected links share the same source file:Each Link Separately— Open one picker per link; pick a different replacement for each. Useful when same-source links need to diverge. Selected Instances (N)— Replace only the links you picked in the Links panel. All Instances (N)— Replace every instance of that source file in the document in one step. How to try it: In the Links panel, select two or more links, click Relink (or use the menu), and pick a scope from the Replace dropdown before clicking Place. Work Faster with Adobe Acrobat: How to Use AI for PDF Tasks

Work Faster with Adobe Acrobat: How to Use AI for PDF Tasks

Leave the tools and menus behind and let AI handle the busywork.   TL; DR (~2 min read): Adobe Acrobat's AI Assistant lets you complete PDF tasks, convert, sign, organize, extract, compress, print, find-and-replace, and more, just by describing what you need, with no menu navigation. It even chains multiple steps in one request and confirms before making changes. Works across business, legal, HR, and student workflows, and integrates with Microsoft 365 and Dropbox. PDFs are a reliable way to share and manage important information, but completing everyday tasks can still require multiple steps. Actions like signing a document or organizing pages are straightforward, yet they can slow you down when you’re handling a large number of files.A simpler way to work is now available. With Adobe Acrobat, AI Assistant lets you complete PDF tasks such as converting, organizing, or signing documents by just telling it what you need done. This makes Acrobat one of the best AI tools for everyday PDF tasks. In this guide, we’ll walk through how to use the AI Assistant to handle common PDF tasks more efficiently. Turn Everyday PDF Tasks into Simple RequestsAdobe Acrobat AI Assistant sits on top of the trusted PDF tools you already use, letting you complete simple tasks or multi-step workflows using natural language requests. Need to delete a page or compress a file? Just ask. That simplicity is built on trust. With over 400 billion PDFs opened or created each year, Adobe has set the standard for secure and dependable document workflows. Now, with AI Assistant, it’s even faster and more intuitive, helping you move from intent to action without second-guessing the results.Whatever you need to get done, convert a PDF, organize multiple files, or extract pages, simply describe what you want to do, and AI handles the rest. It can also streamline more complex tasks, such as how to sign a PDF or how to password-protect a PDF with AI, making it easier to complete work quickly and accurately.By helping you use AI to complete PDF tasks without breaking your workflow, Acrobat is one of the best AI tools for everyday PDF tasks. How to Complete Everyday PDF Tasks with AIWhether you’re editing, organizing, or sharing documents, you can use AI in Acrobat to get it done quickly and efficiently. Here are some common PDF tasks you can do faster with AI: Convert: Just type, “Convert this PDF to Word” or “Turn this Word doc into a PDF.” AI Assistant completes the conversion directly or takes you there in one step, so you don’t waste any time figuring out how to convert a PDF with AI. Sign: Type “Sign this document” to apply your signature or request one from others. There’s no need to navigate any menus; with AI, you can sign a PDF faster and keep the process moving. Organize: Move a page or pages to the desired location, to improve the storyline. Type something like “Swap the order of the last two pages,” and AI does the work for you. Rotate or delete pages: Use natural language such as “Delete the blank pages” or “Rotate pages 3 to 5.” You can refer to page numbers or content, and AI handles how to delete pages from a PDF or rotate them, then confirms with you before making the changes. Extract: Need to find or isolate specific content? You can say things like, “Extract pages with the financial summary.” Instead of searching manually, AI will identify and pull the specific sections, streamlining how to extract pages from a PDF. Compress: Don’t know how to compress a PDF? Tell Acrobat, “Compress this file so I can email it,” and AI will reduce the file size instantly. Print: Need to print a PDF? Type in “Print pages with the signature block,” or “Add watermark on all pages with financial tables,” and AI will locate and send the relevant pages to print in an instant. Find and Replace: Say you’re updating a report from Q3 with Q4 numbers. There’s no need to scour the file for instances of “Q3.” Simply say, “Replace all instances of ‘Q3’ with ‘Q4’,” and AI will update the document in seconds. Perform multi-step commands: You can even combine multiple tasks in one request, such as “Password protect, sign, and print.” AI will execute the workflow from end to end, showing the power of using an AI Assistant to complete PDF tasks in a single step. Update: Before making changes, AI clarifies and confirms your request, so you stay in control and can act with confidence, even when you’re moving quickly.Together, these features make Acrobat one of the best AI tools for completing common PDF tasks, reducing the time and effort you spend working with your files.Next, we’ll show you how these capabilities translate into real-world workflows across teams and everyday document tasks.💬 Was this helpful? If these tips made PDF work easier, we'd love to hear it! Learn what’s next and help shape how we're evolving Photoshop.

We've been working on a significant evolution of Photoshop's core systems — and are eager for your input. We're evolving Photoshop to be faster, smoother, and with the focus on helping you be more productive by giving you greater creative control. We’re actively listening to your needs, and are taking action to modernize the technologies that power Photoshop. This isn't a single feature update, it's a long-term effort to upgrade Photoshop's core systems: how it performs on complex documents, how it takes advantage of the latest hardware, and how it opens the door to new capabilities made possible by AI.  This is a long-term investment in the future of Photoshop, and we're excited to start sharing more of where we're headed. As we continue to make progress, we'll share updates along the way and invite your feedback to help shape the experience. What we're buildingThe first major milestone is a new compositing engine — powered by the GPU — that brings real-time performance, non-destructive filters without Smart Object workarounds, and significantly faster visual feedback on even the most complex documents. This foundation will unlock powerful AI and hardware capabilities. This is actively in development and we'll share progress here as each piece gets closer to your hands.  We're working closely with Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Intel, AMD and other technology leaders to ensure Photoshop takes full advantage of the latest advances in hardware and software. These collaborations help us push performance further, unlock new capabilities and continue evolving Photoshop for the future. Recently, you may have seen some of this work highlighted at the NVIDIA Computex keynote and Microsoft Build. Together with NVIDIA, we’re  bringing you optimized hardware with our new engine to accelerate your workflows. We're also collaborating with Microsoft on new platform-level optimizations in Windows designed to help Photoshop run faster and more efficiently. These efforts represent just the beginning of a broader investment in the technologies shaping the future of creative work.  To follow along and be part of it, join our new group — The Evolution of Photoshop. Messy Layers? Declutter them instantly with Photoshop Layer Cleanup

Messy Layers? Declutter them instantly with Photoshop Layer Cleanup

Keeping your Layers panel organized just got a whole lot easier. Layer Cleanup in Photoshop 27.6 and above automatically deletes empty layers and renames layers based on their content, so you can focus on creating, not housekeeping. With a single action from the Layers panel, Photoshop scans your document and removes blank pixel or text layers that tend to pile up during exploration. At the same time, it can intelligently rename layers, giving them clear, descriptive names that reflect what’s inside, so you no longer have to guess what “Layer 37 copy 2” contains. You’re in control of how much cleanup happens. Run it across the entire document for a full reset, or apply it only to selected layers when you want to tidy up as you go. Here is a quick tutorial demonstrating this feature.   Why this mattersFaster navigation in complex files Cleaner handoffs when sharing PSDs with teammates Less friction when revisiting older projects Better layer discipline without manual effortWhether you’re polishing a final file or jumping between ideas mid‑flow, Layer Cleanup automatically keeps your workspace lightweight and readable. Learn more about deleting empty layers and renaming layers in your document › Join the conversationHow do you usually organize your layers: strict naming from the start, or cleanup at the end? Beta Build 30.6.75 Release Notes

Hello, The latest Beta Build 30.6.75 is now available in CCD. We have below fixes in this build: Global Typography/Unified Text Engine ChangesIn this beta, we bring a significant improvement to how Illustrator composes text. This should be a big friction removal for workflows that involve non-Latin text. While Illustrator was already composing text in non-Latin scripts, there were some frictional experiences and limitations. To make it easy for anyone to compose text in any language/script, we’ve largely worked on three aspects:Illustrator has two text composers – one works in Latin and East Asian scripts and the other which works for all scripts. Former is the default for most users, globally. In past, if your input comprised of Hindi or Urdu or Arabic Text, you may have noticed broken text shaping (joining of characters) as the application attempted shaping in the default composer. That’s changing. In this beta, when you input any text, either through physical keyboard, or soft keyboard, or paste - Illustrator will analyze the input and accordingly assign the appropriate text composer such that any text input is not broken, ever. Related to the above, we are also enabling access to these composers in the flyout menu of paragraph panel. This is to inform the users, which composer is associated to the selected text or the next new text, and further give users a way to change, if they need to do so. Typography features related to Japanese, and Right-to-Left scripts were not available for all users. In this beta, any Illustrator user will be able to access typography features related to Japanese, and Right-to-Left scripts. While these features will continue to be available by default in regions as earlier, any user will be able to enable these from Preferences > Type or from Type menu > Language Options. We are in the process of making some more improvements in the subsequent beta builds, like auto-assigning text direction as Right-To-Left upon detected input of scripts. But we’d love to hear your feedback on how global text is shaping for you in this build. Relink and replace images faster than ever. When you replace a linked image in Illustrator, you can now choose to apply that change everywhere the image appears in your file, even across multiple artboards and repeated layouts. How to use this:1. Select one or more links in the Links panel and click Relink2. In the file picker, note the 'Replace:' dropdown below the options3. Frame.io V4 panel now in After Effects (Beta)

The Frame.io V4 panel in After Effects (Beta)What is it?Hey friends! We’re pleased to announce that the new Frame.io V4 panel is now available in After Effects (Beta). Render, upload, share, comment, and manage feedback without ever leaving After Effects. What’s New?Unlike the Review with Frame.io panel, the new Frame.io V4 focuses on uploading from the Render Queue, rather than requiring users to set render settings from within the panel itself. Upload one or many comps to the same place in Frame.io at once! What’s Coming Later? If you’ve used our new Frame.io V4 panel in Premiere 26.2 or later, there are a few features in that panel, but are not yet available in After Effects (Beta).Playhead sync - Today, clicking a comment will jump the After Effects playhead to a comment. In Premiere, you can also sync playhead scrubbing between Frame.io and Premiere bi-directionally. It’s not in After Effects today, but we know it’s important to you. Asset import - Today, you can use Frame.io drive to make assets local and drag them straight into your After Effects project. We’d love to hear from you all whether you miss having an import button in After Effects, or if you prefer using the new Frame.io Drive method. How to Access the Panel? You must be on a Frame.io V4 account Make sure you’ve installed After Effects Beta 26.5.0 (Build 16) or later. In AE (Beta), go to Window > Frame.io V4 Log into Frame.ioGive Us Your Feedback!Comment below what you like, what you find frustrating, or what just outright keeps you from getting work done.
