Hi everyone,I’m encountering an issue with RoboHelp 2022 when trying to generate a CHM file. I’ve been testing with one of the sample projects provided by Adobe, and every time I attempt to compile the CHM file, the process fails with the following error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, lstat 'C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Temp\RHTMP\<RandomFolder>\About_RoboHelp.chm' Failed to generate <OutputName>. Check log for more details. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Verified that the Microsoft HTML Help Workshop (hhc.exe) is installed and functional.Cleared the temporary files in C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Temp\RHTMP.Changed the output directory to a local folder (e.g., C:\TEMP\Test) to avoid issues with OneDrive or network drives.Ran RoboHelp in compatibility mode for Windows 10.Verified permissions on the temporary directory to ensure full access.Additionally, when I manually test the HTML Help Compiler (hhc.exe), it attempts to compile but ge

I am trying to setup Styles in Robohelp 2022.  When I edit them ans try to apply to text, the text does not update with the style settings. For example:  I changed the h1 style to    denise1099_0-1767476280102.png I highlight the text aand hit the h1 style and nothing changes.  denise1099_1-1767476337084.png  Nothing changes: denise1099_2-1767476479155.pngWhat am I doing wrong?

Hi all! When I take a screenshot and insert it in RoboHelp, the size of the image appears bigger in the output than the original dimensions. How can I retain the original image dimensions in the output?  

Hello everyone,I’m having an issue with the index in an Adobe RoboHelp frameless project and would appreciate any guidance.In my project, the Index is clearly visible and populated within RoboHelp. All of my topics include the appropriate rh-index-keywords meta tag, and the keywords appear correctly in the Index panel.However, when I generate the output, the Index is completely empty.Here are a few details about my setup:Project type: FramelessThe Index is populated and visible inside the projectAll files contain rh-index-keywords metadataIn the output preset, under Content, I have enabled Include IndexThe output generates successfully, but no index entries appear Has anyone experienced this issue with frameless outputs? I'm trying to generate a Word document from RH2022, but I keep getting this error message in the Log output: ENOENT: no such file or directory, lstat 'C:\Users\LRICHA~1\AppData\Local\Temp\RHTMP\Printed Documentation WordgsJ8fK\ProCon_User_Guide.docx'Failed to generate Printed Documentation Word. v2022.6.34 Frameless output It seems (through much head-scratching testing) that any conditional tags applied to <section> elements are ignored by RoboHelp despite this being a valid and semantic element. Additionally, it seems that conditional tags on a child element of a parent element that has tags applied are also ignored?Are there any other massive limitations people know about?

Hi, we are using RoboHelp 2020.8.34. We have project A and releted project B collated ToC. A is master Toc and B output is merged with it. Now some of the topics are hidden in ToC B and merged with ToC, still these are reflecting in ToC A though they are not opening in generated Help but appear in ToC. How to remove them from ToC A as well?

We are using RoboHelp 2022 Update 6 and recently moved everything to SharePoint Online.  We have a lot of users who can't search unless they clear their cache in Edge/Chrome every day which really isn't a good fix.Anyone else seeing this? I see that Update 4/5/6 fixed search issues when hosted on WAMP or FTP so I'm thinking there still might be an issue when hosted on SharePoint Online but just hasn't been fixed yet. Thoughts?

Hi ,I am using RoboHelp to author online help content and generating HTML5 output. I’m facing an issue with the left-side navigation panel (TOC highlighting) in the published help.Problem DescriptionWhen I navigate to:My Admin → Task Manager → Permit AlertThe correct content (Permit Alert) displays on the right pane.But the TOC highlight on the left does not match the selected topic.Instead of highlighting Permit Alert, it highlights Route Check.This happens not only for this path but for all topics that have sub-sections under the same parent section.Expected BehaviorThe TOC should automatically highlight the exact topic that is clicked or opened, matching the content shown on the right.Actual BehaviorTOC is highlighting a different sibling topic under the same group, even though the correct topic content loads.Attempts Made / ObservationsThe topics and content files are correctly created.All content loads properly; only the TOC highlighting is incorrect.Issue occurs consistently acro

in other sisterprojects the font color is blue. For this project it is white. After having worked on this project for a few weeks now, I suddenly get Error Log messages that don't really tell me anything. What is RoboHelp's PDF output based on? Is it CSS-based? How easy is it to customize the PDF output?

I am not a RoboHelp user but follow the forum because of my work with FrameMaker and XML. Is it possible to export RoboHelp content to XML? Is RoboHelp based on XHTML? Thank you.

In editiing an index I cross-referenced names using 'See also'. In later indexing this feature no longer applied because the second name had been removed however 'See also' against the 1st name remains and I just cannot remove it. When I try InDesign just crashes!

Hi,I have added a title to my output preset, but it disappears in the search results in my frameless output. In the screen below, the help added as a title via my output preset disappears in the search results, as shown in the second screen. Had a very strange problem start today. I do this 3 times, for 3 languages.modify, compile and launch view examplefor one of the three project, the modifications are not shown, the two others are ok.generate options are identic, path also...even if I erase the old target file, it is still showing a wrong result.if added a printscreen with the source and the result.I'm baffledbr Olivier

I am following the steps mentioned in article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/robohelp/using/publish-salesforce.htmlUsing my RH I am able to create a profile, log in to SF, and even on the SF backend the admin could confirm that I am able to login via RH.However, for some reason the highlighted details are not getting populated:Any idea what may be failing? Is there any specific access needed? I have the knowledge manager access on SF side.

Currently, the merge project in the latest version of RoboHelp includes 13 child projects with its parent project. Of the 13 child projects, 12 are comprised of chapters and sections, while the remaining child project is dedicated to forms. The forms have been integrated into the chapters and sections throughout the project. It seems that there is an issue with the search functionality, as it does not allow for searching within each individual project. For instance, when attempting to search for a specific form, such as a 'Bond' form, the search results display everythign containing the word 'Bond' rather than specifically isolating the desired form.

When I start Robohelp I get a message saying that I only have 6 more days on my license?  What?  My subscription uses a credit card that doesn't expire for quite a while.  Why would this quit working?  I have two other Adobe subscriptions which are working fine with the same credit card.  Just for fun I changed the credit card but I am still getting this message.  The nice Indian lady I spoke with at Adobe today couldn't explain the problem but said it might go away in a couple days.  Just wondering if anyone else has this issue just with Robohelp.   

How to add diff page numbers for ToC and actual content in PDF in Robohelp?
