While working in Premiere Pro, aff of a sudden the playbutton under the film that I had made was gone, so I couldn't start it. What happened? (Excuse my English, I'm better in Dutch.)

I´m the secretary in a non-profit association. We have since 2010 been using Indesign CS5 for making a christian gratis magazine. We bought it as a compact disc. We have been using the application on two computers. Recently one of us, myself, bought a new Lap Top. Before I decided to buy the Lap Top, I had two Lap Tops for trial. In both those Lap Tops I installed our CS5 and also in the one which I finally bought.    Unfortunately I didn´t inactivate the CS5 in both of those Lap Tops I had for trial. That´s why we can´t activate our CS5 in our new Lap Top. When I print the serial number the application answers that ”this serial number has already been activated on two computers”.    The mistake we did was that we forgot to inactivate the application in both of the Lap Tops I had for trial. The applications were uninstalled but not inactivated on both of the computers. I went to the  compter store and together with the salesperson we could instal

I've got a number of scripts in my C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version 20.0\en_GB\Scripts\Scripts Panel  folder. Yup, using Windows.  These can be accessed within InDesign from theScripts menu. So far so good. However, it doesn't seem to show files that start with an underscore like  _Gwen_Stefani.jsx Whatcha got against Gwen, huh Adobe? Or is this another overlooked feature?

Hi, I’m planning to purchase a laptop that runs Windows 11, but I’ve read that Adobe Creative Cloud applications have been experiencing compatibility issues, including display problems and crashes. I primarily use Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom, and I need them to function efficiently without major disruptions.   Can you confirm whether these issues have been resolved or if Adobe is actively working on fixes? Would you recommend purchasing a Windows 11 laptop now, or is it better to wait for further optimisations?   Thanks for your help!

I am used to print small versions of my photos, or real-size smaller parts of a photo, as proofs, to a (large) A2 paper to see if the result is OK. However, it often happens that these small pictures are not printed by SC-P900, not at all or only partly (a sharp deletion). Instead, the print head moves swiftly as if it were printing onto the right position of a paper. No ink is coming. The print head is _not stuck_, as the ink test works fine, with no missing parts in the test figure (or in some successful photos). The other day I installed the latest Epson drivers because of these problems. However, no change. In the document (of A2 size), there are no any masks etc which could explain the missing outcome. On the screen the document appears normal, and this is the case in the PS preview before printing. One strange feature is the following. When I deleted most of the Nikon NEF-derived document (a large photo) which I had successfully printed previously, leaving there a small part of th

OK, SO I HAVE SEEN A FEW POSTS ON THIS AND NONE OF THE REMEDIES WORKED. IVE GONE INTO THE RESOURCE FOLDERS IN INDESIGN, I CHECKED EVERY FONT FOLDER, AND STILL I CAN NOT FIND THIS FONT TO GET RID OF. ANYONE HAVE ANY LUCK? [Renamed by Mod]

Indesign gives you a dialogue option to replace existing instances of that swatch/spot colour in your artwork when you delete a swatch/spot color. It would be super useful to have the same behaviour in Illustrator ... making it much easier to add a new colour and clean up all instances of unused similar colours. The only cost is having to dismiss the dialogue if you want to simply delete a global/spot swatch that is applied to one or more objects in your artwork, if you want to keep the colour on the object and make those instances no longer global/spot colours (the current only option/default behaviour). Thanks for your consideration.

I tried to cancel my subscription for few times and I couldn't because the cancellation tab won't work and keeps buffering.is that means I stuck?

A couple of months ago I created a post about how CC app does not show latest versions of the apps and that I cannot update anything. Nothing has changed since then and offered solutions were too inconvenient and I didn't do them. Earlier today I thought what if I try to update them from web app and I clicked install button for each app and it directed to me Creative Cloud app. There I can see them being "updated" (from 24.0 to 24.1.1) to latest versions with one major issue, they are not updated, they are installed as "fresh" so I lost all my preferences, actions, etc. I had custom action sets that are saved in Actions panel but not exported. Is there a way to bring them back? I regularly backup using Time Machine and tried to locate these files with no luck. I don't mind the preferences but getting these custom actions is top priority for me. Appreciate any help.

Problem DescriptionI've discovered that InDesign GREP behaves differently from standard regex engines when using the OR operator (|) combined with anchors (^ and $). This seems to be an undocumented behavior that differs significantly from what most regex documentation would suggest.Test CasesTest Case 1: ^ab|cText: ab ac bc Expected (standard regex): Matches "ab" at line start AND "c" anywhere Actual InDesign result: Only matches "ab" at line startTest Case 2: ^a|bcText: ab ac bc Expected (standard regex): Matches "a" at line start AND "bc" anywhere Actual InDesign result: Only matches "a" at line startTest Case 3: (^a)|bcText: ab ac bc Expected (standard regex): Matches "a" at line start AND "bc" anywhere Actual InDesign result: Still only matches "a" at line startTest Case 4: (a$)|bcText: ab ac bca Expected (standard regex): Matches "a" at line end AND "bc" anywhere Actual InDesign result: Only matches "bc" (ignores the anchor completely)ObservationsInDesign GREP appears to interpre

Hello, I have an inquiry about joining Adobe Fonts as a foundry, does anyone have a contact email for this? Kind regards Jeremy

Hello community, since my laptop was updated to Windows 11 by our IT department, I’ve noticed two annoying changes in Adobe InDesign: Display Performance is now always set to High Quality when I open any document. Previously, it used to default to Typical (or Normal), which worked better for my not-so-powerful laptop. I have to manually switch it back every time. The View > GPU Performance setting always reverts to CPU. That’s understandable, since my GPU can’t handle it well—but again, I have to set it manually each time. Is there a way to set Display Performance to Typical and force CPU Preview as the default for all documents? Thanks in advance!

I am rerquired to export captions in this format, but there is no option in export to do this.

Hi,We are running PP 2025.3 on Mac 14.7.6 with Desktop Video driver 14.5 on two different iMacs, same spec.  We have Blackmagic playback on one but not the other.  Oddly we see the Black Magic option in the Audio Hardware section.  We've also played video back in Blackmagic Media Express with out issue.  Desktop Video has been uninstalled and reinstalled as have PP.  Is there something that we're missing?  Thank you,Rory

I want to find these overflow text boxes, and then keep the width of the text box constant, increase the height and expand the text. A small amount here means cases where the overflow is only a few lines (ex: 6 lines).Expand only on current page.Ignore those cases where you need to increase the page to expand them. Thank you very much.Found this written by jb_alvarado:Can it be modified to only expand on the current page? var storyTitle = "Hello I'm a title!" var myDocument = app.documents.item(0); var myDoc = app.activeDocument; var myFrames = app.selection[0].parent; var myIndexStart = app.selection[0].parentTextFrames[0].index; while (myFrames.overflows === true) { var myNewPage = myDoc.pages.add(); myNewPage.appliedMaster = myDoc.masterSpreads.item("A-Text"); // add Page header myTitleFrame = myNewPage.textFrames.add(); myTitleFrame.contents = storyTitle; myTitleFrame.geometricBounds = ["0mm", "0mm", "4.98mm", "148mm"];  Perhaps,

I have been running Lr (Not CC) on my iMac for awhile. I bought a Mac Mini m4 because I want to use some apps with LR that the iMac can't handle, so I want to move my Lr as it is (meaning folders, albums, presets, etc) to the Mini. I need help with that. I can also use help with picking the right settings/preferences for Lr in its new environment.I appreciate all help, and thanks in advance.

Just upgraded to LRC 14.4 to get the Denoise feature in Detail, but I cannot get it to work.Nothing happens when I click in the box and the white line adjacent to it is greyed out. I am running 13.7.6 Ventura. Please advise

Hi there - I'm going to be travelling for four weeks without an internet connection this summer and I want to be able to back up the images that I will download from my camera and import into lightroom mobile on my ipad. I'd like to back up the raw files and also the sidecar files (containing the develop settings applied to the raw files) on a 1TB USB stick in case anything happens to the ipad while I'm out in the wilds. Can anyone tell me: a) If this is possible, andb) How I go about doing this?   Many thanks, Matthew
