I have applied a blur effect to a top layer of animation, a rain effect, and the effect is being applied to every layer below it. This happens with any effect. When I have applied effects to layers in the past, it has only affected that layer. What is happening? Thank you for the help!

 I am pulling my hair out here... please help me. I have a client job I need to do and I literally can't even open the app I'm paying for to start working on it. Specs:Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 (25.2.3)Mac MiniMac OS Sequoia 15.4.1 What is happening: I open Premiere Pro and the splash screen shows up. It does not show any loading text of different parts of the app, etc. It just shows what you see here: 2. Then, after a while, I get a screen that says an error occured. If I click on the view report, it gives me a dmp file with jibberish (can't attach here because its not supported - go figure.)  Steps I've Taken so far (that have NOT worked):Held Option+Shift when opening app and cleared all caches, preferences, and disabled pluginsManually deleted all associated Premiere files in Application Support and restarted computerUninstalled all 3rd party plugins and restarted computerUsed Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner to clean all Premiere files and restart

For this assignment I'm doing, I had to hand draw and scan each diagram. I did an image trace, but most of the objects generated were partially filled to where it was in the scan. To work around this, I expanded all the shapes, and dragged each one to form a complete object. This enabled me to add color via live paint. Is there a faster way to achieve the same results?

I am getting the "fetching certificate revocation list from http://crl.adobe.com/cds.crl, press ESC to cancel" pop up message. Nothing works to clear this message and Adobe freezes up. I've tried to find answers in past forums. I've tried the security settings change suggestions, etc. I'm using Windows 7 and have Adobe Reader XI-version 11.0.23.  How do I fix this permanently??

The current selection is the frame of the box, as indicated by the red arrow. How can I select the smart object layer on the right side, as indicated by the green arrow, using JSX script code? I’ve searched many keywords in the forum but couldn’t find an effective solution. I’m posting here for help out of desperation. I apologize for any trouble I may have caused and sincerely appreciate everyone’s assistance. Thank you.

Hi, I am trying to feather the edges of the image in layer 1.Thanks.

Bom dia, pessoal.

A paid plug-in ive been using for a long time on photoshop (Shadowify 2) has suddenly disappeared from my workspace and now says "You do not have an app compatible with this plugin installed." when trying to re-install im upset because its something I always used it, I was even using it just a few hours ago. When i try to re-install plug-in it says "Compatible App Required" but everything is up to date. Manually dragging the .ccx plugin file into Photoshops Plug-in folder isnt doing anything either. Is there anything I can do to get my plugins back into photoshop? I use a Mac m1 aswell

Hello, I am having an issue I had on PC now on my Macbook Pro M1 14 inch. When I add the first clip to my timeline, I cannot add any other video clip to the timeline now. When I drag another video clip to the timeline, it will show its audio source and will not add the video portion of the clip.  My current work around is to make a new sequence for each video then copy and pasting the videos to the main timeline which is slow, annoying, and just insane. This recently started happening within the last two weeks and is frustrating.  Does anyone have a solve for this issue?

For the past few days I've noticed that photoshop cc is making images a lot smaller than they should be. Gyazo - 808954b9bf9820c170ff5a754cfd7cc7.png this is a screenshot of an image that is supposed to be 150x300px at it's actual size. Gyazo - 209ed889e4dd9d3e36e824869c2974d0.png this is the image when uploaded to the internet (chrome at 100%). As you can see not only the size changes but it goes blurred as if it's being stretched. I haven't been in to preferences and I've no idea why! I've tried a few things to no avail, any suggestions?

Hello,When I set a stroke to live text, the stroke is aligned to the centre of the edge of the fill, by default. It is not possible to align stroke to the inside. Is it possible to mask the portion of the stroke that is on the outside of the fill while keeping the text live?Offseting the Path of the stroke should work but in this case, there appears to be a glitch with the font and the offset stroke doesn't quite follow the contour of the text. Creating outlines is not an option here as I would like to keep the text live (also, outlines do not always follow the original type but may approximate it). I have tried using opacity masks with multiple strokes of different sizes applied to the text but have not been successful in achieving what I want. Basically, I want to apply stroke aligned to the inside of live text!This is for CS4.Thanks.

Hello! I am currently doing research on implementing LiveEffectPlugin in Deno (https://deno.com/) and I am strongly seeking information on LiveEffect with rasterization. The LiveEffect built into Illustrator implements things like “rasterize”, “blur”, and “drop shadow” that involve rasterization processing, but I am having trouble finding examples of implementing such effects. (Even after searching through the SDK documentation, open source projects on GitHub, and other references) Does anyone know how to do this? The GoLiveEffect method of the plugin has been implemented so far, but the set pixels are not reflected on the screen. (To make it easier to understand the result, I have made the bonding box red.)```ASErr HelloWorldPlugin::GoLiveEffect(AILiveEffectGoMessage *message){    ASErr error = kNoErr;    PluginParams params;    this->getDictionaryValues(message->parameters, params);        try {

Hi all,I'm looking for a way in Illuastrator to be able to add some text, automatically to hundreds of boxes/shapes on the basis of the name of the shape. The text would ideally be centered to it's corresponding shape. For example, to turn this...In to this;Am I missing something already existing? There are some mucky work arounds involving exporting .svgs of boxes and writing .svgs with text, but I feel there must be a way to do this all internally within illustrator but this seems the realm of some scripting, which is a bit beyond me!Any thoughts?

I have placed an embedded image and am trying to select part of it using the lasso tool. I have rasterized the smart object, but it is still not selecting the pixels. Any ideas? Thanks.

After I import images into LR, it appears to be darkening the image in the preview window. I've never seen it do this before. When I export the raw files - the photo is unaltered (not darkened). Why does it darken the image in the preview window? Note: I do not want to make any adjustments to the original. I want to keep the original raw file unaltered.Also, it it normal when exporting from RAW to RAW for there to be XMP files? I did not do any editing in LR, so I don't understand why LR is exporting XMP files? I just want it to export the original.

I have two Adobe accounts: a free one for personal and school use and a paid one (Acrobat) for work, which I pay for myself and am not reimbursed by my employer. I use the paid account to manage PDFs for clients at a business I don't own, while keeping my projects separate. I typically access the free account on my personal laptop and phone, and the paid account on my work desktop, company laptop, and occasionally on my personal laptop and phone. Switching between the two accounts is inconvenient. It would be easier to have the features of the paid account accessible through both emails, but that’s not economically feasible right now. I need to combine the accounts while ensuring privacy, especially due to HIPAA regulations. How can I do this, or do I need to keep both accounts? Trish
