Solved

was wondering if anyone knows how to deactivate creative cloud instantly opening a department login? I've left that department so the email I was using has been deactivated so I couldn't log into it even with that account. I can log in with my present account on browser and know that's not the problem, I've tried deleting and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app off my laptop for nothing, and don't know what to do. Help??

I was really looking forward to linking excel files to an annual report containing tons of tables. But all the preparations and good thoughts put into the project have been shattered, and I can't seem to figure out if it's a random thing or not: Apparently, when I add or delete a row in the linked excel file, an error message appears when I update the link in Indesign stating "Cannot update link for xxxxxxx ... Please place the document again to reset the link". I don't get the message if I just edit the text or the figures. The weird thing is, that when I opened another INDD document where the same linked spreadsheet also appeared (with modified number of rows), it updated fine, and the changes were reflected in the Indesign doc. I use latest version of CC and Excel (Mac). Hope to hear some thoughts from you knowledgeable people. It's frustrating. It's raining. It's monday. Kind regards, Jes

I have several projects that need 15-20 artboards in one file with multiple unique sizes. Right now, I create each artboard individually working of a long list of typed out measurements . Is there a script or something that would allow me to copy and paste in the measurements for each artboard and then have illustrator create them all at once? It would save me hours of work a week if I can find a way to do this.

Good day Pros,               I am looking to toggle three different boxes. The toggle box is "Unhide" and it unhides two other boxes. "Convening Date" and "Graduating Date". I have a third box "CT NOTE" that hides these two boxes. I want the Unhide box to hide both the Convening Date and Graduating Date boxes and Show the CT NOTE box. When clicked it would do the reverse. It will unhide both text boxes but hide the CT NOTE box. Is this possible?

The Windows task bar and Lr menu bar are gone. I've tried toggling T and F. No luck. Any solutions?

The reverse geolocation feature in LrC is not working. While GPS coordinates are present and visible in the Metadata panel and Map module, the corresponding location names (e.g., city, state, country) are not being populated as expected.I’ve verified that:The “Look up city, state, country...” option is checked in Catalog Settings > Metadata.I have a stable internet connection.GPS coordinates are correctly embedded in the images.I am using the latest version of Lightroom Classic.Despite this, Lightroom Classic does not display location names in the Metadata panel, even after waiting or manually reloading the metadata.Any suggestions?

Ferdinand

Hello, I am fieldtesting macOS Sonoma and I encounter a few (very) annoying bugs with the latest Adobe CC apps (all up to date). For Photoshop I have the 2024 version, for all other apps mentioned it's the latest 2023 version of the app.   Bug 1: Adobe Indesign. The page is "flickering" when moving an object with the selection tool. This flickering can be avoided when hiding the "rulers" in Adobe Indesign with  CMD + R   Bug 2: Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (2024 release): When moving a panel to a secondary computerscreen the submenu can no longer be accessed. When moving that panel to the primary computerscreen it works just fine.   Adobe (and I do hope Adobe reads this) … are these Adobe CC related issues, or something Apple has to fix?  For many professionals this will be extremely annoying if this doesn't get fixed. As I mentioned, I am only field testing this at home, … not in a production environment, as I have the policy NOT to upgra

We pushed CF2021 Update 10 with no issues, but four days later a Windows patch was pushed and now we are having an ORM issue. Has anyone ever experience the following error before? ***************************************************************java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.hibernate.HibernateException not found by orm [198]at org.apache.felix.framework.BundleWiringImpl.findClassOrResourceByDelegation(BundleWiringImpl.java:1597)at org.apache.felix.framework.BundleWiringImpl.access$300(BundleWiringImpl.java:79)at org.apache.felix.framework.BundleWiringImpl$BundleClassLoader.loadClass(BundleWiringImpl.java:1982)at java.base/java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:521)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.ConfigurationManager.initConfiguration(ConfigurationManager.java:68)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.HibernateProvider.initializeORMForApplication(HibernateProvider.java:168)at coldfusion.orm.hibernate.HibernateProvider.onPageRequestStart(HibernateProvider.java:131)at coldfusion.fi

Hello, I want to create business cards using the data merge option in InDesign. I am working on Mac. Indesign wants comma seperated data. I experienced troubles exporting this comma seperated file in Excel or Numbers. They tend to be semicolon seperated only. However, the easiest workaround was using Google Docs which allows the export of such comma seperated file. Then, when importing my data using data merge, any special character gets replaced with wrong characters. Like é or à get replaced with ÅÃ etc. Google told me it is an encoding issue. I downloaded the text editor Sublime which allows encoding in UTF-8, UTF-16, etc. However, any encoding different than UTF-8 results in an error when importing the data. Any advice on this? Thanks!

I can't work out how to setup this software so that it automatically opens in the Photo Editor Advanced Mode, so I don't have to go through all the intro screens. Can anyone help please? Mike

My side Tools Panel disappeared. I have tried to reboot, update the software & reset it. I looked for it in the menu bar, searched the internet and the Adobe Community, trying to get help. The only thing I could think of doing, possibly, is making a preset and loading it.  **See attached screenshot** for what I am seeing [me in the middle ... Hi!]. Note, no tools panel down the side. I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.5 on a Macbook Pro M1 I thought I would ask the Brains Trust that is the Adobe Community. However, I shouldn't have to do that, considering how much I am paying per month. I can't afford it, quite frankly, being on a pension. I used to pay the student rate as I am studying, and I use Creative Cloud for charity work as well.  Just having a whinge ... trying to finish editing photos for a charity mag in Australia [volunteer].

Version 14.3.1Windows 11

Lightroom Classic 14.3.1Windows 11 Pro 24H2Since some weeks, my Lightroom library seems to have hiccups. When opening a picture in Develop mode, it is often not shown. There is only an empty screen. When I select another picture in the bottom bar and then select the first one again, in the end it is shown. However, when I select the other picture again, the first picture remains shown.None of my edits (edits, crop overlay, remove, masking) are shown in the right sidebar anymore. Everything seems to be reset. Some pictures indicate a mismatch between the Lightroom catalog and the file on disk, but for most pictures this is not the case. All XMP files are still there.Trying a backup catalog does not resolve the problem. Clearing disk space (used to be 25 GB; is now 125 GB) does not resolve the problem.Do I need to remove some of the .lrcat-data files (and is it a destructing operation)? Any advice on how to repair my library is appreciated.

For the most part I want to use multitrack editor, so it would be great to disable the ‘double click clip to enter waveform editor’ function. Reading around I believe this isn’t currently available as a preference?Secondly, is there a way to ‘protect’ source files from being overwritten? (Ie if I do end up modifying them in waveform editor it forces a ‘save as’) Thanks

Hi, I've been experiencing an issue with Illustrator CC over the last few days, where the program crashes after loading the window. I won't be able to interact with anything, and trying to click on anything makes the program become unresponsive; Windows will notify me to close it.  I've tried a few things over the last few days.-  Tried older versions. This allowed me to get into the preferences to clear my files, but once I tried to open a file or create a new document, I would get the same crash.- Used the Creative Cloud cleaner tool. This had no effect.- Uninstalled Creative Cloud and all Adobe Applications.- Deleted most of the files in my %temp% folder that had Adobe in the title.  My next thing to try is a fresh Windows install, but before I do that, any recommendations for things to try, or has anyone had a similar issue in the past? Windows 11, 11th Gen i7-11800H, 16GB RAM, RTX 3050 Laptop GPU Thanks

Hello, I am experiencing an issue where comments disappear during the conversion from PDF to PDF/A format. After testing, I noticed that comments remain intact after the conversion if they are locked. My question is: Is there a way to automatically lock comments? Is there a setting for this in the preferences?
