Solved

Hi there!Just wondering ...Is there some proper way to do »radial« text setting with InDesign, like setting up some »bent baseline grid« and having a text flow from line to line finally? Or should I switch to Illustrator for that purpose? (Where things won’t be so much easier, I guess ...)Thanks –Klaus

I copied all of my local photos to cloud, the bunch including some photos that I had previously imported to and edited in lightroom. After copying, in stead of there being two versions of these photos (the previously imported edited ones and the original unedited ones that I now imported), there were only the new unedited photos meaning that I lost all of the edits that I had made to the same photos previously. Does anyone know a way to restore the edited versions of the photos?

I wish there was a delete button here so I could easily delete a photo. (see image)

I have used the DeHummer function on several sound clips. I was to quick (and stupid), I did not fully understand the function. I live in Europe, and now I understand that I do not need it. Anyway..... the result is that these clips has a weird sound. How can I take DeHummer away forn these clips?

Quick question - Ive paid for my account for the past 3 or 4 years but recently I have missed the last 4 months payment since Ive been out of work. Do I have to pay the last 4 months plus the current month to get access again, or will they let me just pay the current month? I have the Annual - Paid Monthly plan.

To transfer a library book from Adobe Digital Editions to my Kobo e-reader, I am told to authorize my computer. When I try and do this it asks for my Adobe ID and Password. I give both but am then told "you can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again". I only have one Adobe ID and password so what am I supposed to do. "Please try again" is an idiot answer. Anybody have a  solution?   Thanks, Tony

I recently updated my Excel and since then the .csv files won't merge into indesign. The indesign and Excel are both updated. When I go to merge the data none of the data fields show in the data merge window to click and insert into the document. When I close the file and reopen in indesign, it says that "the data source cannot be opened." I am only importing .csv files and have not had this problem before. In fact, I used an older .csv file created with the older version of Excel and it uploads just fine into indesign. Does anyone know what is going on and how to fix this?

I'm not sure why this is happening all of a sudden. My slow motion is incredibly choppy when I slow the speed down to 45%. I'm aware that I have to raise the frame rate on my camera to give it the smoothness. I raise it to 60 frames which is the highest my camera can go. It always seems to work, but now all of a sudden, my slow motion is super choppy. I usually lower the sequencer settings to 24 frames since its a music video, but now it seems like every thing is just choppy.

Howdy, 'New' to the video world but have been taking still photo's for years.     Q1: I am looking for sources of downloadable pre-made templates for adding my content and clips. Hoping it can include transitions and title effects, etc.  I am fine with purchasing if the quality is there.  Does this exist?  It seems so much of what I have run across is 10 years out of date.   Q2: related to Q1.  Do I just need to invest the massive hours (it feels like) to create my own templates and purchase any transitions/titles seperately now and stop looking?   I feel confident I can get the raw footage that is needed for a good end video product, it's piecing it together that seems like a unclimbable mountain.   Thanks for any feedback.

I've tried several times to clear the signature & initials from the "Fill & Sign" but it will not clear when clicking the x. How do I remove the saved information?

Can somebody help to know if there is a way to delete all the comments from a PDF in a single go? I have some 1000+ PDFs, those have too many comments, i want to delete it in 1 go for each file. May be i can try building a bot for that after then. Please help Thanks in advance

I have Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2022 and was looking at upgrading. I found the upgrade for both that I had in the past, but it's quite near what it costs new. And now I see that 2025 has a 3 year license, which means that it can go silent one day too. I looked around the forum and saw that 2024 was the final year that the license was offered as it had been in the past and that it's only available from retailers. Unfortunately I can't find any retailers and only people offering 2024 upgrade versions on eBay and other places that I'd find suspect. Is there any official list that you might have for retailers? At the moment, I'm considering this or migrating elsewhere and dealing with the learning curve for what is surprisingly an even lower cost. I'm very confused why Adobe has done this and I have to wonder whether this is signaling the end of the line for this great but aging software.

Hi,I am making a PDF with Radio Buttons, with an image background, and when I display the PDF in Acrobat Pro X it looks fine. I have switched off Highlight Existing Fields in the Form menu. But when I open the document on another computer, large grey boxes are shown around the Radio Buttons. Does Acrobat automatically switch on Highlight Existing Fields? How can I export the PDF so that on other computers the grey boxes are not shown??Thanks very much for your help!Fabian

Hello,   I'm looking to create multiple subtitle lines, for when people talk over each other. This doesn't seem to be possible, as you are only allowed to have one subtitle track visible. I've found some really weird work arounds, but I want to ask the community to see if I'm missing something obvious.   Here is an example of exactually what I'm looking for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfCEWmatIvk   I'm aware I could do this manually, but I was hopping to take advantage of the automated caption generation to save myself lots of time.   Thanks

Hi All I foolishly reset my preferences  in Illustrator to try and get rid of a stroke scaling issue, and I've realised that my extensive list of starred / favourite fonts has disappeared. Is there any way to get them back? I've searched the web but I cant find anything concrete. Holding thumbs. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I have been trying for the past week to upload a character created with Human Generator in Blender. I exported the character into a wavefront format (.obj). When I enter Mixamo and click on upload, I upload the .obj file but all I can see in grey and no character. I have tried googling for an answer or a workaround and nothing has helped. Why won't my character load properly please and how do I fix it so it doesn't happen again? I am using Blender 2.92 and 2.93 with the same results. Thanks

When I set the row span for the Lynx, River otter, and Wolverine cells to anything more than "1," the reading order messes up.  How can I set the row span for each of these cells to 5? Before: After setting the "Lynx" cell to a row span of "5." Please advise.

ok so I have a situation where I have 30 pages.  I created the file as a "facing pages" file. The first 3 pages are meant NOT to be numbered. From the fourth page I want to number the pages. When I do this the fourth page or Page 1 becomes a RHS part of the spread instead of LHS.I really want this to be on the left with the rest of the pages moving into their appropriate spreads. I've been going into the Pages settings under Numbering options but it doesn't seem to be working.  I can reallocate page numbers but it changes the spreads - how do I keep the spreads the same and not have the first page of the new numbering on its own alone...out in the cold! Thanks for your help - not even AI can help with this one. Lisa
