I’m tryng to achieve the “perfect” left aligned text as you see in the picture. I can kern and track the text myself, but for magazines it takes way to much time. I’ve tried looking for a script with not much luck and the scripts I made myself are not super useful. does anybody know if there are scripts for InDesign to achieve this effect?

I'm currently from ColdFusion 2021 to 2023 and have encountered what appears to be a breaking change in how ColdFusion handles boolean values when interfacing with Java methods and MongoDB operations. The Issue:In ColdFusion 2021, I could pass native ColdFusion boolean values (true/false) directly to Java methods and MongoDB queries without issues. However, in CF 2023, the same code throws errors unless I explicitly cast the booleans using javacast("boolean", true). Example:<!-- This worked in CF 2021 but fails in CF 2023 --> <cfset mongoQuery = {"active": true, "$exists": {"field": true}} /> <!-- Now requires explicit casting in CF 2023 --> <cfset mongoQuery = {"active": javacast("boolean", true), "$exists": {"field": javacast("boolean", true)}} />

I’ve created an InDesign document with multiple pages, where each page begins a new section and the text frames are not linked across pages. Is there a way to import a Word document so the text flows seamlessly throughout the InDesign file? Do I need to set up continuous, linked text frames beforehand, or is there a quicker method to achieve this?

Hello, I have a script that worked very nicely until I started using a table. The table is in multiple linked text frames. My script successfully removes table rows that are empty, but then I am left with some empty pages. My function to remove these empty pages is not working anymore, because it is now a table instead of plain text. It used to work by identifying whether all text frames on the page were empty, and then delete the page. However, when I find the contents of the table in the text frame, it will give me the full contents of the table for the first page, and then claim that the (linked) text frame on the next page is empty. It also claims there is no table on the second and third pages (I assume due to the linking of text frames). My question, then, how I can obtain the information that there is, in fact, a table inside the text frames on the subsequent pages? E.g.: app.activeDocument.pages[2].textFrames.everyItem().tables.everyItem().contents;returns the full table content

HiIs there any solution for translating documents to Hebres ?

Hi,I’m running Acrobat Pro (through Creative Cloud Pro) with AI Assistant for Acrobat ($4.99 monthly plan), Version 2025.001.20937.Whenever I try the generative summary it starts the job, but stops approximately midway after generating roughly 1500-1600 words. And then after about 20 seconds the generated text disappears with the following error message: “Generative summary didn’t find anything to summarize in this file.”Is there a way to get it to work properly? Am I doing anything wrong? Most the documents I try to summarize are between 300-600 pages. Is there a max document length for it to function properly?Any help greatly appreciated--thanks!R

I am writing because I am unable to access the Adobe Admin Console. When I try to log in, I receive an error message that says: "We're sorry. You don't seem to have access to the Adobe Admin Console. If you think you should, please contact your system administrator."Could you please check my user permissions and grant me the necessary access to the Adobe Admin Console?

hi there! i'll try to be brief with my problem: i am working on a poster series for which the entire type is rasterized in one single layer, some bits of it are blurred, but the blur is made with noise -- i have attached a screenshot. in order for it to look like in the screenshot, i've made duplicates of the layer -- in total i have four copies of it. if i leave just one layer, the type looks a bit flimsier.  when i export to pdf though it renders just one layer of type, it's like the others don't exist. if i merge all layers the same thing happens, it ignores the duplicate layers and the flattened image looks like it only has one layer of type. i tried making a new document and dragging all my layers to it but i encounter the same problem. what's weirder is that i made some other graphics earlier today from the same series and it exported just fine then.  anyone got any clues as to what this could be?

Hi, I recently started consulting in a hospital. I need to be able to fill out forms in front of the patient and then have them sign the form on my Ipad infront of me. I could not find an inperson form signature video. The patients do not have emails for me to send the forms to via email and have them click on the e-sign option. Is there a way for me to fill in the form asking the patient the form questions, then having them sign the form in the location they need to sign? this is the most important feature in my work flow. please advise.  Additionally, is there a way to set buttons to export specific pages in the long pdf form to print to pdf or save the specific pages in a specific order? please advise.

ЗHello! Please help me solve this problem. I need to stretch an image strictly horizontally from the center to the edges (as in Figure 2), but Adobe Photoshop resizes the image from the "left" side to the "right" (as in Figure 1). Perhaps the problem is in the advanced settings; where can I find them?   [formating fixed by mod]

When I upload my own photograph or a graphic that I designed and create a video (basically animation) of it in Firefly, is that considered an AI project? Should it be identified as such when used in a personal, non-commercial project?

Recently I mistakenly deleted a folder of photos from LRC. I had a copy of the same folder on a separate external drive, so I imported the same photos from that drive as I had deleted. Now, however, the keywords are missing. Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to retain keywords in a situation like this? For what it's worth, if anything, I use LRC on a Mac. My main photo library and backup library are on separate external drives and I create the backup using Finder to drag folders from my main library to the backup drive. I used the LRC import feature to put the photos back into my library. Thank you.

I am an IT supporter, working on an issue we're facing with Rush on all company machines, and I have hit a wall. The issue is, that graphics in the lefthand panel is not loading at all. It will show the loading animation for about 10 seconds, and then show the background and nothing else (See the attached picture 1). The audio panel, which I assume is loading the resources from the same pages does not have this issue (See picture 2). Additionally, if we import .MOGRT files manually, we can use them no issue (See picture 3). The issue is only faced on company machines, and not on the same hardware, but installed with a Windows installation outside of the company environment. However, I have dug through our Group Policies without finding anything blocking this, or Chrome/Edge processes that may be related. We have also attempted turning off the Windows Firewall+running on a non-company wifi, and the issue persists. Additionally, I have run the uninstall tool several t

Why is Lightrom Classic not compatible on my macOS Monterey? I'm told to update to macOS Sonoma, but my Mac can't update anymore.

Shortly after opening LRC the welcom screen disappears as normal. Then the small LRC window appears with several pictures in the film strip. The wheel of death continues then "Not Responding" message appears. The drivers and Windows apps are all up to dayte. LR has not problem loading and opening. Thank you in advance. So I got this:   Your Adobe Case ADB-42876175-W3P4 I have a 2013 version of Acrobat Pro XI.  I used to have it on other computers.  I destroyed those computers because they were out of date (HP Pavillions).   I want to reload the software (which I know is out of date and does not update) onto another computer but I get the "program is used on too many devices, deactivate other devices" language.  In my Adobe account there are NO devices showing.  Can't deactivate a device that doesn't show up.  I asked if Adobe could look up my devices by the Product Serial Number.   No luck (she probably really didn't know to be honest).  How do you deactivate devices that are not on your Adobe Account?    Thanks.
