Solved

HiI've got a new laptop and since installing Indesign its been glitching the text when I scroll up and down (example attached). Adobe support couldn't help, I've reinstalled the application, I've reset preferences, I've done all the display performance correct settings etc and I'm now at my wits end. Also when I drag my text frame to a point (say 25) it doesnt think its there and hovers above the line instead of clicking to it but when I let it go its at the correct point. It is also making my guides in normal view look distorted. If I zoom in or out it seems to correct the distortion but as soon as I scroll again another piece of text will go weird in another place. I also plugged in an external monitor and the same issue. This is happening on all InDesign documents, but not other text documents.  Is it my new laptop thats the issue?  Thanks, Nicola System details Windows 11 InDesign 21.0.2.x64ThinkPad X1 Carbon E15 Gen 2

¿Cómo puedo hacer para recuperar documentos elinados?

Hello,I accidentally deleted 1 or 2 group folders with images at the CC libraries in InDesign. Is there a way to recover them? Thanks in advance,Tom

Groeten,Arno

I have an extra date calculation and I need a solution. The `calculo2` function is a number calculated in the previous item, but I need it to be copied to a location in the `DPP` function, and I'm not able to do that. When I put the number in, it works, but it doesn't pull it from the previous `calculo2` function.

Dear All, I have bought two licenses and one of the users forgot to accept on time the link the administrator sent and now the link has expired. I am pretty sure this is a silly question but I am really bad with computers in general.. Could anyone advised on how can the adminsitrator resend the link to the user so he can have access to Adobe Pro. Thabk you very much!

I have a JPEG of a 1939 Wyoming map that I'd like to overlay with a line of the route my father took on his motorcycle.  Rough idea attached below with orange line sketched in amateur freehand with my mouse.  Ideally I'd like to have the line precisely match the old Highway with drop shadow, glow, and the like. Perhaps use Illustrator to make a line with Bezier curves etc?  But that seems onerous.  Any ideas welcome - thanks in advance!

When trying to import new video files to Premiere, their audio is muted. I can watch them in Media Player just fine, video and audio perfectly synced. But once I try importing any of them to Premiere, the file imports with an audio track, but the track has no audio on it. The video plays out perfectly, but no sound at all. I've tried converting the files to different formats like MOV and AVI, tried using Media Encoder to change to other suitable files, nothing. When importing other videos, there are no problems, everything works as normal. It's only these files. The files are perfectly normal MP4's and have all the same details as files that do work. Size is not an issue, as I've imported videos far larger than this, also with no issue. The only difference is that these are recordings from a VR headset. Which also shouldn't be a problem, because I have used VR recordings before with no issue, and can still import other VR recordings with their audio intact. I have been troubl

Hi everyone,I run a content site [removed by moderator] and I create a lot of visual assets in Photoshop. Recently I noticed that when I export images (PNG or JPG), the text and icons look slightly blurry on the live site, even though they look sharp in Photoshop. I’ve tried: Export As / Save for Web 72–300 DPI Smart Objects Different scaling settings If anyone has experience exporting images for WordPress blogs or high-quality web use, what settings do you recommend so visuals stay crisp on the site? Thanks in advance!

Hi, With latest Indesign update (21.0.2), the HEIC import is crashing Indeisgn, kindly have a check and update as soon as possible. It was all ok before the recent update. Kind regardsSapan

This black line appears to be part of the page margin on just one page of my document. All other pages are okay. I have tried for a couple of hous to see how to delete but all I have managed was to delete a couple of spaces in the line. It is not something that can be highlighted with the selection tool and whn I move the page border, the line moves with it, although it is not sitting on the border. Page editot doesn't show anything relating to the line. Any ideas to the cause and how to delete are apprecicated.Screen shots attached to show the line and page border. Thanks

I'm trying to save a 7-page PDF, but it's saving as 210mb. Compressing the file works with Adobe's online compressor, but the images become very blurry. Am I missing something? There are 6 images spread across 7 pages.

I'm scanning old photos from my parents to share with the family. The shared albums do show the caption, metadata and location, but not "People" or "Keywords". The problem is that's how I track people's names and that's probably the most important when it's about people deceased for a long time. Is there something I've missed?

[moving from bugs to discussions according to the comunity rules - Mod.]

What do i need to do to make captions from this transcript? I hope that this is a stupid question and that i am not seeing something but i just can't find it...

Hello, I work with roleplaying game books, which often have complex and unusual requirements etc. I have no idea how to accomplish this header concept (photo attached). There is a decorative line with small circles to either side of the header. You can see that the header probably has side borders, but the decorative line doesn't show up behind the text/inside the borders. This is clearly dynamic, as there are 2 headers of different widths in the photo which are clearly using the same side rule image. An extra wrinkle is that the text should be able flow into more than one line, if used in a single column. Any ideas how to do this sort of thing - this particular effect, or any other tricks to make headers more visually interesting?

LR updated and been stuck in perpetual sync between MacBook Pro and cloud. It seems to think there's 85 items that need syncing. Plus unable to add additional photos. All software is up to date, I've removed all sync problems from the Lightroom.adobe.com. Signed out all accounts. Uninstalled and re installed. Also, LR will not close. I have to force quite to get it to close. As it stands it's unusable. any suggestions would be helpful, thank you in advance.

Could I get a download link for Adobe Photoshop CC 2015? My laptop doesn’t have enough RAM and GPU power to run the newer versions.

I use an Apple M1 Max with Sequioa 15.5 OS. I am happy to use InDesign 2026. I don't experience the problems I had with InDesign 2025 (which were extremely frustrating). But one thing that does not seem to work in InDesign 2026 is textwrap. I can activate the text wrap panel, but I don't see any options. If I click on the menu (Hamburger) only the text 'show options' appears in a separate frame, but I can't see anything more after clicking this. Please find some screenshots below (I am using the Dutch version of InDesign).
