It seems that the XLIFF conversion is not really up to par as bookmarks simply disappear when you export a topic with a bookmark to an XLIFF file. If this issue is confirmed, that would be a rather serious problem. Reproduction steps1 - Create a topic with a bookmark (no text associated with bookmark in this case, but the same happens if you bookmark text)2 - export this topicResult: bookmarks are not exported along with other text in the XLIFF file

Hi everyone,I'm exploring a workflow where I want to:1. Convert an Adobe Illustrator design (saved as PDF) into a .jsonl format2. Modify the design automatically by editing the .jsonl file through a script3. Convert the updated .jsonl back into a PDF or Illustrator designIs this kind of round-trip automation possible with Illustrator, maybe through an extension or script? Also, do we have any method to automatically apply changes to Illustrator designs (e.g., position, size, colors) using an external script or data file?Any guidance, suggestions, or examples would be really helpful.Thank you!

I have a virtual assistant and I'd like to know if I'm able to give her access to my Adobe Cloud Storage for her to rename label and organize the files in there. Also want to know how I'm able to move files all at once from my Adobe storage on my device to my Adobe Cloud storage. It does give the option to do it one at a time but with 400 files I'd rather find a way to do them all at once and I can't seem to find a way to do that. Thank you

Last year, I experimented with AI image generation models and uploaded some of the outputs to Pixabay for review. To my surprise, a few of these illustrations became quite popular, collectively reaching almost a million downloads!I'm now considering uploading the top 5 images from my Pixabay portfolio to Adobe Stock. My main concern is that these popular images might have already been secretly uploaded to Adobe Stock by others, which I've heard happens frequently to Pixabay creators.Has anyone else dealt with this? Do you think it's still safe to upload these images to Adobe Stock, or am I risking a problem? I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice!

My web server is using CF2021 update18 (Log4j version 2.20.0: jmx enabled default: -Dlog4j2.disable.jmx=false).-When I set metaspace = 256, the memory has nearly 2 million elements of org.apache.logging.log4j.core.jmx.LoggerContextAdmin (watched by jmap -dump).-When metaspace = 512, the memory drops to about more than 500 thousand elements.-When disabling jmx (-Dlog4j2.disable.jmx=true, Log4j Starting in version 2.24.0 JMX support is disabled by default), the memory no longer has .jmx.LoggerContextAdmin (as expected to reduce memory). So my question is: When disabling jmx, will it affect coldfusion? (my web server)※I hope it doesn't affect anything my web serverBest regards.

I’m wondering if anyone can help with the following.  I want to remove the graffiti from an image and was using Clone Stamp.  But ideally, I’d like to not replace pixels and want to use Blend If to retain them while matching the color of the graffiti to the wall.  I lassoed a section of graffiti and used Select>Color Range to select the graffiti.  I’m assuming I need to make my selection of graffiti (1) its own layer and (2) transparent in the main layer because otherwise pixels might appear through the Blend If layer.  But since completing the actions for both results in a deselection of the graffiti, I don’t know how to achieve both.  Put another way, it seems I have to go back in my History to access the selection, but that undoes the action of either creating the Layer or masking the selection in the underlying layer.  I hope this is clear.  The screenshots show the graffiti selection (screenshot 1); and the selection masked (scr

Is there any way to export?

Hi, I am newbie to photoshop scripting but I do have few years experience with Javascript. Looking for clarification as I can't figure out what is  going on here. I was looking for solution how to get array of selected artLayers and layersSets. I found couple solutions on blogs and forums which works, but I can't figure out what that code actually does so may someone could explain it line by line or point me to normal documentation as I found http://wwwimages.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/photoshop/pdfs/photoshop_scriptref_ js.pdf doesn't explain anything just gives list of available functions. How ActionDescriptor, ActionReference works, how returned object by executeActionGet(ref) is structured and how Photoshop stores actions in memory. var ref = new ActionReference();var selectedLayers = [];ref.putEnumerated( // Puts an enumeration type and ID into a reference along with the desired class for the reference.     //why I do need use putEnumerated? what

Hi everyone!I’ve been generating some AI images with Leonardo that include text—like posters, banners, etc.—and now I’m unsure about uploading them to Adobe Stock. The text was added directly within Leonardo using their built-in tools, so I assume the fonts are embedded in the image. But I haven’t been able to find clear info on the licensing of those fonts, and I want to be sure I’m not violating any copyright rules.Has anyone here uploaded AI-generated images from Leonardo that include text? Do you know if Adobe accepts those, or do you avoid using text in your AI content altogether?Would really appreciate hearing your experiences or advice. Thanks a lot!

Hi Folks,   So i searched quite a bit and could not land on any meaningful documentation around this aspect of PS scripting. I am clear that this provides us access to low level functionality not exposed on the DOM but beyond this i am lost. Some questions that might be trivial are listed below What is ActionDescriptor, ActionReference, ActionList etc. What do they actually map to, or in other words which one is used for what purpose Using the scriptlisterner plugin we can get code to automate user actions done on the PS UI. So far so good, but what about the scenarios where we need to get values from the document. Lets take an example of counting the number or artboards in the document and then accessing properties like height. width, rotation for each of these. Where do we start for this? When to use charIDToTypeID vs stringIDToTypeID. How are their arguments determined etc I see lots of code snippets shared, but none gives an insight as to how it was written, how di

Hi Adobe Community, I’m looking to upgrade my device (either laptop or desktop) mainly for work within the Adobe Photoshop ecosystem — things like high-res photo editing, using multiple layers, smart objects, brushes, and occasionally working with RAW files in Camera Raw. Before making a purchase, I’d love to get some real-world input from fellow Photoshop users: What are the ideal specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD vs. HDD) for Photoshop in 2025?Is GPU performance still important for Photoshop, or should I prioritize CPU and RAM?Would 16GB RAM be sufficient for professional use, or is 32GB now the sweet spot?Any device or monitor recommendations specifically optimized for color accuracy and Photoshop workflows? Are there any known compatibility or performance issues with the latest version of Photoshop and certain hardware? I’d really appreciate your insights before I commit to a new setup. Whether you’re a full-time creative or a casual editor, your experience matters!&nbsp

Hello all,I would apprciate any assistance with a licensing issue I am having when "migrating" and existing Acrobat Pro 2020 for Mac license to new a Macbook Air (M4) with MacOS 15.5 (Sequoia).I have succesfully downloaded and installed the package from my Adobe account onto the new Mackbook Air including entering the serial number. When opening Acrobat, it begins to open an Acrobat window then immediately changes to a completely blank "Acrobat Licensing Application" window and hangs there and that is as far as it goes. I have tried many of the suggeseted fixes for similar problems, eg fully unistall and reinstall (several times), tried different download packages (not the flat package however), deleted the OOBE folder and restarted...I would be very thankful to any help you may have.

Suddenly Premiere an Media Encoder started exporting ProRes 4444 as black films.I've used the same export preset that i've used for years so it's really odd.ProResHQ and H264 works fine.Seems to be an issue with ProRes 4444.Tested with my ProRes422HQ preset that renders films that looks just fine - and only changed to 4444 = Black rendersThe clips are black in Quicklook and Quicktime. Can play them in VLC and they work fine in AE, Premiere and Resolve.I've uppgraded Premiere, AE, Resolve to the latest versions and MacOS (Monterey 12.7.6).Uninstalled Adobe Beta apps.Cleared Media Cache in Premiere.Even tried with projects that didn't have any issues and i've delivered - now black renders.Super annoying. My colleagues also see my renders as black clips in Quicktime but can import them in Premiere, Resolve, VLC and so on.Anyone have had the same problem?!  MacPro 2019 16 Core Intel Xeon W96 GB 2933 MHz DDR4AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo 32 GBMonterey 12.7.6Premiere Pro 24.6.1
