Hello all. I've created an index for a 90 page document. It updates and generates a new index with no problem, but when I place the index in my document, it only goes to 'S' and there is still room in that space to be filled and shows that there is overset text. When I click on the overset text box, and place it in the next column, only the next 'S' entry appears. What the heck is happening and how do I fix this? Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to create transparent fill shapes (with an outline) in Acrobat DC, and there is no "transparent fill" option. Where did this go?? I've been able to create outlined shapes with transparent fills in every other version of the program.

How would you recretae this in illustrator? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank-you, Joe

This is exhausting. Let me try and be as clear as I can in describing this issue because its a nightmare. I write fantasy novels, and I am 3 books deep and still have no idea how to fix this tab issue. In my paragraph style options all my indentations are set to 0, yet my tab is still .5 inches from margin. When I try to readjust tab settings to .25 (desired setting) it moves the entire margin over. When I try to adjust the First Line Indentation it moves the entire margin over. I went into bullet options and click on the double arrow symbol and that indentation setting seemed to actually work on my First Line Indentations but I cant save the change. The most basic question really is why when I press tab it repeats or is .5', and why is it so so so hard to change? And is there a way to save my bullet option tab dimension?Thank you for help, ahead of time. I cant wait to get back to actually writing and not have to worry about this.

My PC with Windows 11, in the latest update of the Nvidia drivers, hardware acceleration is disabled, driver studio 576.02, latest version of LR Classic, I have already deleted LR and installed it again, I installed the game driver, the card works because Windows recognizes it and I can play normally, I noticed the problem when I went to apply noise reduction and it took me an absurd amount of time. Then I noticed that it was disabled. What should I do? amd r7 5700x, 32 gb rtx 4060ti   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Good afternoon InDesign support community, so basically Im designing an interactive magazine about Black Cats for my college class Layout And Publishing In InDesign and one of the requirements in Paragraph Styles now 2 major things. 1.  they're easy for me execpt when I created a new paragraph style for one of the articles and it looks like this(see image 1 below) so heres the settings or preferences i put the paragraph style as (see images 2 and 3 below) and heres what the paragraph style is supposed to look like(see last image at the bottom of the images 1,2 and 3) so as you can see it doesn't look like that and when i did the exact same thing in a new document it worked perfectly.  2. When I select a piece of text like a article title or something that I want to be a heading or a subheading etc... and I click on the paragraph style that I created after I added all the text to my pages of my magazine it adds the paragraph style to all of the text instead of just t

Acrobat Pro (latest) defaults to bold face for new bookmarks (this is new, two days old for me, possibly after a silent update). Is this just me or generally true? How to revert to normal behavior? tx

Hello, I'm laying out a bilingual, Traditional Chinese + English document. I'm using the client's house font, Noto Sans TC. For some reason my Indesign is using half-width characters for all the punctuation in the Chinese text, which is messing up their line-breaks and layout. The font definitely includes full-width punctuation (because they have used it on other documents), and chaning to another Chinese font displays the same punctuation correctly as full-width, but not the font I need to use. Can anyone advise on what might be causing this problem? Thank you so much!

Hey guys, before you start reading, yes, I have learned my lesson.I started a project a few days ago and worked religiously to get it done (more than 24 hours at least). Once I got to the midway point, all of a sudden, my file couldn't save to the location. Okay, I've had this error before. So I try to save it to a new file name. It still doesn't work. Hmm, interesting,So then my brain starts to panic.I close Adobe Animate (2019) and restart my computer, hoping that it was just a little glitch. However, when I open it, a new error appears "Could not load scene into memory. Your document may be damaged."What the heck? The error message appears on both saves and my "scene" where all my work was is now gone. Keep in mind, I had a couple of animate-made symbols and one bitmap for the background. Other than that, the minute I had animated is all drawn. So now I start panicking and scrambling to find answers on the internet. All my photos/symbols look fine in the library, and when I tried to

Most of the time when using the text tool in this version, it only writes text in all caps, despite not having caps lock on.  Every now and then it will write text correctly.  Any ideas on how to fix this so I can use upper and lower case letters consistently?   [Typo in title fixed by moderator]

I need the direct download links (offline installers) for the new 2020 releases of After Effects CC. Does anyone have any idea how I can get the link?

We are stumped ... we've been creating a CF web site for years.  It works fine on all our coders localhosts and it works fine on a commercial CF hosting server.   We just copied all the code into a rack WE own and it simply will not work.   The errors we're getting are db errors.  Table xxx does not exist yet we can see it on our RDP screen.   We've triple checked our settings in our CF Admin console ...  In 28 year of using CF we've never encountered this.  We have cleared our cache ... rebooted our CF server and db server and it still insists it cannot find a table or a field within a table.  We're using an old version CF 2018.  On locals and at our commercial CF hosts.   What (more) clues can I provide to help us fix this.  We're about to throw the rack in the bin.  Many thanks in advance.

HelloI have "kewords" in the metadata of my pjeg files coming from the days of using Picasa!  When I moved to PSE, I did not select them at import time, and therefore they do appear in my keywords structure I manage under PSE... So far so good.Recently I decided to copy the metadata (PSE ctrl W) to my files and to install Bridge.Bad news, all the keywords (old and new) sit together and make a mess . PSE "crtl W" do not erase existing keywords but just add the new ones. The simplest thing would be to remove all the tags and do the "crtl W" again...  But in Bridge I did not find a way to do that in batch mode but only file by file ... with 50000 photos a batch solution would be welcome (even working at folder level woul be acceptable).Does this function exist ? I could not find it in the user guide. Thanks for your help Alain

Hi all,I'm creating some custom sketch designs for a branding project, and all of a sudden I'm having image tracing issues. I've been sketching using Procreate, using the same brush and exporting as PNGs with the same settings to stay consistent. For reference, I've attached two photos:1) My first illustrations that I've made vector using image trace. They came out great!2) New illustrations using Image Trace. All of a sudden they look like absolute garbage. They come out flimsy and totally innacurate. What seems to be the problem!? I cannot get the image trace to look like my previous sketches and it's really frustrating.Any and all help please, thanks!~Mike

Acrobat v25.02.05 (20250306.074217)iPad Pro 3rd geniOS 18.4  I opened a PDF form and don't want to save it or fill it out, how do Close it? Or close any PDF for that matter? Does it matter if the PDFs are 'on this iPad' or on iCloud or Adobe cloud storage? Also, the app has been quitting.

Immediately upon startup, it reports an error (picture) and the only thing you can do is confirm and the program closes. Tried a new installation and it's the same. Tried a new installation of the Windows operating system and reinstalled Adobe Photoshop and the error is the same. Please help

I have an Adobe for Enterprise account, and I've been using Firefly Video. Last week I hit 0/3000 credits but my account says "When credits run out, you can continue to generate content at no additional cost for a limited time." and it kept going.Alas, today it seems I have hit an invisible ceiling of sorts. My credits won't reset until May 1st, does anyone know if this invisible limit is temporary or will I have to wait until May 1st? Or will it maybe (hopefully) reset my "you can keep going" tomorrow? If not, it really would be nice if they let you know somehow that invisible limit was there.Sucks because I was getting some really great outputs and would love to finish this project sooner! This is what I've been working on if anyone feels like checkin it out:https://youtu.be/qUoxwkOJpqI?si=aHC6XLdN5OXllxnQ

I know it's an common issue, but still couldn't find a solution to that. When I switch between the Library tab (all images have Standard previews) and Develop tab, they look alot different. When I export the images and they look like the Library preview. When I turn off in Preferences... the Use Graphics Processor, then Develop looks alike the Library, but the performance is drastically down.   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Hi Everyone, I have two .PSDC files that I saved as a copy to local SSD.  The first one has a size of 2.57 MB, and the other 2.58 MB. Once converted into WebP files, one ends up with a file size of 43 KB, and the other 193 KB. Why so much difference?  The both compressions were set at Lossy 65%. Is this a good percentage for website use? Regards, -Ron
