Solved

I am putting a new SSD drive in my computer and rebuilding my Windows 10 system.  I currently have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard DC loaded on the existing hard disk and need to deactivate it so I can reinstall on my new disk.  It is listed as 2015 Release (Classic) | Version 2015.006.30279.  I have installed the latest updates to this release so it is current.According to documentation, there should be a deactivate option under the Help menu.  None appears.  I've down a Help | Repair Installation and that did not correct the problem. So how do I deactivate this Acrobat Standard DC install?

I don't like that I have to ask what seem like such simple questions.  Every time I think I understand some of it... doesn't seem to work out. I have an order form with a bunch of tables and total fields.  At the top I have a drop down to select what the PaymentMethod is, and I have 3 read-only text fields for Subtotal, processing fee, and Total.  I got a script to work on the Fee field.  A fee is only applied if Credit Card or PayPal is selected from the PaymentMethod dropdown.  Otherwise do nothing (leave the fee as 0).  The Subtotal field uses the basic sum calculation (selected all the table Total fields and let Acrobat figure out the script).  The Overall Total is set to be a simple sum of the Subtotal and Fee fields (selected the 2 fields and let Acrobat figure out the script).  The problem is the Overall Total doesn't seem to update correctly.  It might work the first time, but then I either change a value in a table row's total

I want to set my InCopy paragraph styles and character styles to match the defaults I have set in my InDesign document. I have a set of paragraph styles and character styles that I use in all my InDesign documents. Can I export my paragraph styles and character styles from my InDesign document and put them into InCopy so that when I create a new InCopy document they will always be there? If so, can someone point me in the right direction on how to do this. I have search and just can’t find any info on this.

Can someone tell me if Acrobat Pro (version 2025.001.20435) is supposed to be compatible with PDFs created by Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11.0?  When I google I get mixed answers.  We have some simple forms created in Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11.0 with basic textboxes and checkboxes and we want to use Acrobat to fill them in (not edit them).  They don't have any fancy controls and, for the most part, they seem to be usable in Acrobat Pro, but occasionally, there will be a user who gets a warning message clicking around the various fields or worse, corrupts the PDF after saving it with the dreaded "Expected a dict object."  I just want to know Adobe's official stance on this. Are they supposed to work in Acrobat Pro or are they officially not supported? Thanks,Rich

How do I insert a clear form or reset form button when creating a fillable form?

Hello allMy 3D toolbar and 3D workspace completely disappeared from Photoshop. I'm using version CC (25.4). Reinstalling didn't help. Updating all drivers didn't help. Switching to better monitor display didn't help. This wasn't a problem a month ago. I also get this message when I try to make a 3D normal map:  Note: "Use Graphic Processor" is enabled. The driver is also working correctly (confirmed by NVIDIA, Windows and additional plugins).  Please help 😞

A few days ago, I’ve submitted several images to Adobe Stock, and they were rejected due to lack of quality. Can you tell me what is wrong with my images and how can I fix them to achieve a perfect quality?   [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

Could you please provide detailed information regarding: The use of recognizable branded elements (e.g., logos, trademarks, product designs) in both photographs and illustrations. The rules surrounding derivative works, especially when referencing public domain or AI-generated content. The necessary permissions or releases required when submitting content that might feature intellectual property indirectly (e.g., architecture, vehicles, packaging). Specific considerations for AI-generated content and how IP rules apply in that context. Any clarification or resources you could share would be greatly appreciated. Lately I've been seeing a blue line at the point of the play marker:What is that and what does it indicate?

When exporting files from Illustrator, I get a ton of layers named <path> and <group>. I want to quickly rename these layers in Photoshop. I'm using Alt-[ & -] to move up and down my Layer palette, but I haven't figured how to change a layer name other than double-clicking on the name (which takes a hand off the keyboard). Is there any way to rename a layer by using the keyboard only?

Pretty simple.  Lightroom hasn't been saving my xmp files, even though box is checked.  I import cr2 files, edit them and archive them.  I have way too many files to keep them in the catalog, they have to be archived.  It's basically wiping out all my edits.  Please don't ask me questions, just solutions please.

Hello! In my day to day job I'm often having to transfer supplied art work into Indesign. One of the things I have to do is duplicate the fonts (weight, color, etc) to an Indesign file and have it editable. To help with this I created this script that lists the layers, font, weight and color, and then saves it to at text file so I don't have to constantly jump back and forth between programs. It works pretty well but unfortunately it can't really give me the CMYK listings (I work in print) and tends to just error out when I run it. I was hoping maybe someone in the community could look it over and see where the hang up was.-Matt #target photoshopfunction findFontInstances() {var results = [];var refPSD = new ActionReference();refPSD.putEnumerated(charIDToTypeID('Dcmn'), charIDToTypeID('Ordn'), charIDToTypeID('Trgt'));var docDesc = executeActionGet(refPSD);var docModeID = docDesc.getEnumerationValue(stringIDToTypeID("mode"));var isCMYKDoc = (typeIDToStringID(docModeID) === "CMYKColo

Hi, Let me explain this:- I have 4 clips on the timeline, C1, C2, C3, C4. I want to apply the default transitions (V+A) between C2 and C3- I select C2 and C3 and press Shift D, normally the default video and audio transitions should be applied just once, between C2 and C3. This is how it works in PE2023.- In PE 2025, the default transitions are applied twice: once between C2 and C3, and once between C3 and C4. This is the same if I apply only the video or audio transition (Ctrl D or Sh+Ctrl D) Is this normal behavior, a bug or am I doing something wrong ? (If I drag / drop the transition at the junction point, of course all works normally but I have to do it twice, once for the video and once for the audio.) Than ks for your help,RP

-Loaded up an older scene from AE 2016? some exrs, mov's amd png's (Some plugins from RG were missing, removed them and saved over, scene loads without warnings.)-Scrub back and forth in the timeline updates as expected. Looks okay.-Press spacebar to generate preview, begins to generate around 20-30 frames, then freezes AE, have to end task in task manager every time. Using brand new Windows 11, Ryzen 9 machine ,64MB ram Rebuilt the same comp from scratch  (2025.2.0 build 131) Works fine!

I think I've come across an annoying bug in InDesign, as I'm unable to copy paste, or option/alt drag an interactive button to copy it.Doing the action does do something, as there's a very small bounding box and you can see the item in the layers panel, but there's nothing visible on the artboard/page. If I change the button to a symbol (as opposed to an interactive button) it works...I've trashed the preferences but no luck...any ideas fine Adobe InDesign users?

Hi there, OS: Windows 10 Home 64 bitCPU: 15 8300H @2.30GHzRAM: 16 GB @1197MHz Adobe Creative Cloud yearly subscription. I started my computer and I was reading my emails when I received the following message error:************************************ASSERTION FAILEDProgram...\node-vulcanjs\build\Release\VulcanMessagerLib.nodeFile: C:\bid\workspace\CCX-Process\release...\vulcanadapter.ccLine 390 Expressions: vulcan_ For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts. Press Retry to debaug the application - JIT must be enabled************************************************ Since I did not opened any Adobe application I am not sure what is all about. What I have noticed is that CreativeCloud it is not started and it does not start. Without getting same error, I checked my MAC MINI with OS X 11.6, I noticed that creative Cloud does not open either. However, I am able to open

Hi, I need to download the 2023 version of Photoshop (or the 2022 version as an alternative), but Creative Cloud only shows the 2021 and 2025 versions as available. Could you provide me with a link to download one of these versions? I specifically need one of these versions because they include the Guides Composition tool (with color change options for the guides) but do not have the advanced AI tools, which heavily impact my system's performance. I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

HiI wanted to render a comp but I encountered this error:"After Effects has encountered a failure related to GPU-enabled effects on this frame. This is likely because your GPU is out of memory."The render stops when gets to a glitch and zoom transition.I monitored the task manager during the rendering but the GPU uses not more than half of the memory capacity. However, AE can render the comp in both Open CL (using integrated Intel® UHD Graphics 630) and Software Only.My GPU works well with other projects. But in this case, it just uses 6% in the task manager before the failure. How can I solve this problem and use my GPU to help the rendering process? My system info:Intell i5-10600KGPU: GTX 1650 SUPER (4GB)All drivers are updatedNo CUDA toolkit installed.

With the last update, my gradient panel in InDesign just shows up empty. Even with a gradient swatch selected, the panel never shows any info, and the menu in the upper right only says "hide options" (see screenshot). Anyone else encounter this or have any suggestions?
