Solved

Hello All,Up until a month or two ago when users (Reader DC and Adobe Pro XI) opened a PDF email attachments and selected "Save As," Adobe would open the last location it saved documents to.  Now it's opening to:  C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\XXXXXXX.  Outlook 2013 is doing what it has always done, open the attachment from the temporary location it stores the file, so it has to be some change in Adobe.  Now user's have to constantly go Windows Recent Places and locate the folder. They didn't have to do this before. For example if they view an email and open PDF0001 and save it to X:\CustServ\2017\07-10, after closing that document, going to the next email to open the PDFzyx then do Save As it would open the same folder, X:\CustServ\2017\07-10.  That's not happening now, it default to the Content.Outlook\XXXXXXX folder.I've tried unchecking Preferences > General > Show online storage when

One small tweak that would significantly improve efficiency:When clicking into an input field in the toolbar, the entire value should be automatically selected.Right now, clicking into a field just places the cursor at the end of the number. This means we have to either:Manually delete the existing value before typing a new one.Double-click to select the whole field, then type the new value.Instead, the default behavior should be that a single click highlights the entire field, so we can immediately type in a new value and press Enter. This would eliminate unnecessary clicks and make input adjustments much faster. It should also be an easy fix in the code!

I start Premier Pro. I start a project. I import media. Premiere crashes.  No warning, no error message. I have never had an issue like this with Premiere Pro before and have not changed any hardware or added any additional software. My system:AMD Threadripper 1950x128gb RAMWindows 10Dual nividia Titan RTX video cards (24gb of DDR6 on each card) I have also had consistent crashing issues with After Effects, although it at least provides me with an error message. This started with the 2025 application releases. None of the other applications do this. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. and the results are the same.

I can purposefully type a misspelled word in InDesign and the Spell Check doesn't catch it. In fact it doesn't seem to work at all.

Hello, I have a subchapter in a book where the subchapters are numbered. It starts at a subchapter, 5.1, with the paragraph style "Heading 1 Start, and the number properties as <$chapnum>.<n=1> : Subsequent subchapters follow the "Heading 1 Continue" style and the number properies as <$chapnum>.<n+> , and it works just fine for 5.2 and 5.3, following the properties for Heading 1 Continue":  But then, when I try to start a new subchapter, 5.4, it only wants to be 5.1, despite having the exact same paragraph style and properties:  A couple of notes:1. I have removed all overrides.2. I am not a programmer. Unless you have text to copy and paste into the code, anything you say will go right over my head 😜. Thank you.

Oh great and powerful Premiere Community.  Referencing this post from 2022, to try and get more clarification.  Assuming the scenario Mighty Neil describes is still an issue for Macs, generally, then what is the best work around?  Simple (and common) scenario:  Editing and coloring on a timeline with ProRes444 clips, shot in Log, with all clips being manually overriden to the Rec.709 color space (even though the clips are already Rec.709 by default), and the project settings are set to Rec.709 too.  Exports, however, appear overexposed, desaturated, and generally "washed out" in comparison with the perfectly colored piece that appears in my timeline.  Yes, viewing the exports on a Mac, both via File Preview, as well as via Quicktime.  Bring the export into Premiere and it looks fairly close-matched to the look of the timeline edit (Source Monitor/Program Monitor side x side). Since 2022, I can see at least one change to the Project Settings

I am attempting to remediate a PDF for accessibility, but am running into myriad issues. One that I cannot wrap my head around is that I am running into a tagged content element failure for content that does not even exist. I attempting to show the content in the content panel and it is not there. See below. One of the content element failures is highlighted in blue. All failures look as such; a content failure where no content exists. Is there a remedy to this problem? I have recreated the PDF from a Word doc and still run into the same issue. I would just delete these elements but since they don't even exist...Thank you for any help.

When working in Illustrator the preview of my design does not show correctly. It gets blurry all the time (and stays that way, until I go from GPU to CPU) and shows all kind of elements which are actually hidden behind a clipping-mask for example.

Hi, Two nights ago I had a serious problem. I quit and backed up my Lightroom Classic catalog (as I always do) after around 2 hours of sorting photos (over the past 2 months I have compiled 66,000 images and put them into folders). When I tried to open Lightroom again (to make my second backup on an external hard drive), the catalog was gone. The Lightroom start window opened, but all I could see on the screen was my second catalog (that I had transferred from LR 6). I am using LR 10.1. / MAC OS Catalina 10.15.7/ 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5/ 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X/ Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB (I might not find the right terms, sorry, I’m not a native speaker and my Lightroom menu is in a different language too). I then tried several times to open one of my catalog backups, to no avail. After restarting my computer twice and many attempts to open one of the Lightroom backups, there were suddenly 3 LR icons (blue LRC Cat + Helper+Previews) on my desktop and the cata

Hello, in a file lua, by a command, how can i get the imagepath of a selected image in lightroom:I selected images by:local images = catalog:getTargetPhotos()and now i need to get the images paths Thank you

Hello, What is the best way to get a feature fixed / enhanced for the e-sign branding in Acrobat Pro?  The mage size they allow is 200 x 60 pixels. Regardless of what image type and pixel size you try to modify to, the image that displays in Adobe e-sign emails (to the receivers of the document) is very distorted and grainy. Here is a screenshot of where this is done on the admin side: I beleive this could be a easy and quick fix for Adobe to modify so that we can attach a higher resolution image for our company logo / branding. Thoughts??

I uploaded an image i created it is not offensive and is a surreal style. It says its against standards. I think this is un serious and I want to quit paying for a service that doesnt deliver quality and constantly has gliches. there are cheaper alternatives out there until you fix your issues, that work better.

I just updated my mac to sequoia 15.3 and now my AE 2022 won't open and states'After Effects can’t continue: unexpected failure during application startup' ?  What can I update AE to that it will work and I can keep the plugins?

Hi, I've been using After Effects for years then suddenly last night my transform controls have dissapeared. I can't find anyway of gettin them back, they are there when I open old projects but gone again when I start a new one. The pic below shows you what I get, the tranform options but no yellow writting to the right to change the values. I've just re-downloaded a trial and this is doing the same thing. Has anyone got the answer?

Two general community bugs/concept failures:1. When posting a reply to any thread, the checkmark "Email me when someone replies" is activated by default. This only makes sense when I'm posting a new thread, seeking help. Else it should not be activated, so I can still set it when needed or, if I overlook, I will get mails over mails because I cannot unset the checkmark afterwards.2. With the checkmark being set while I post a reply in a thread I didn't start I will get an email just because I posted my own reply. The header then basically says "You just commented in a thread you follow" - huh, what?

Buenos días a todos/as.

Hi, while I was working on a project Premiere Pro suddenly quit. Then I tried to reopen the project where I saved off, but it wouldn't load. I updated PR and tried again and it didn't work again. I tried opening the other projects but same result once more. I tried to reset the app preferences, clear the cache etc. nothing worked. Then I launched it with "disable third-party plugins" option and it worked. But right after I closed it, this time the program itself stopped LAUNCHING. And I don't know why. I downgraded PR just to test it again but it never launches. Just gets stuck at the launching screen with the artwork right before it crashes. I'd appreciate any help as the project was very important for me.   My specs: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12650H (16 CPUs), ~2.3GHz 16384MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU
