In the old substance painter at default, there should be a grayscale slider in the grayscale tab when doing the paint mode which is now missing on my painter 3D. Am I missing something here is is this a bug?

I created a live text field for a note area for an interactive PDF. I converted my text box into a Text Field and selected it to be "Multiline" and "Scrollable". When I export my PDF, open it in Acrobat and start typing in, the text begins typing in the center of the box and scrolls horizontally all the way until it is out of frame. What did I miss?

Here is a problem and a solution. In Adobe Reader DC you may want to use the hand tool and the select tool. But you won't get them to show in the main toolbar, no matter how deep you dig in the Show/Hide menu.SOLUTION: hover your mouse in the lower part of the screen to show the Page Control tools. That's where you'll see the hand and select tools. The complete steps are:1. Click View > Show/Hide > Page Controls, and make sure that Show Page Controls is selected.2. The page controls will appear either on your toolbar or at the bottom of the screen.3. To move the page controls to the bottom of the screen (or back to your toolbar), click the icon that looks like a bar with a downwards arrow.4. You will only be able to see the hand and select tools when the page controls are at the bottom of your screen.Adobe, I usually love your software, but I spent a half hour looking for a hand icon. Frustration.  >:-((

Hi, image 351830549 is listed as 1520 x 1143px and image 350481190 is listed as 1496 x 1124px. However, when I download them, they are both 799 x 601px. I'm confident the problem is not on my end, since I also licensed image 348891016, and both the size listed and downloaded size are the same (2272 x 1704px). What gives?

I've been using Lightroom Classic for more than 12 years. I've got a big workstation with lots of CPU and GPU. Lightroom Classic worked great last year on this computer. Now it takes approximately 0.7 seconds to change photos in Library mode. I narrowed it down to the fact that my monitor is in 4k resolution. If I drag Lightroom to my second monitor (1440p resolution) the image switching performance is back to normal. If I lower the resolution of my 4k display to 1440p or lower, the performance is back to normal. This computer used to run Lightroom normally on this same display with all the same settings (same preview size, image import settings, etc). This is a performance regression and it makes Lightroom essentially unusable for my workflow culling and managing a lot of images from my shoots.   I'm on windows 11 23H2. Everything is fully updated (Windows 11.0.22631, NVIDIA graphics drivers 566.03, Lightroom Classic 14.0.1).   System Info is attached.   [Moved from ‘Bu

hi, can i ask that how to change name in profile at below of image? [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

Hello, the images were not accepted, please tell me what the problem is?

Hi everyone,I’m brand new to the Adobe Stock Contributor community and thrilled to join you all! I’ve recently started experimenting with AI-generated images and want to contribute content that buyers love. I’d really appreciate your guidance—what types of AI images are trending and in high demand right now?I’ve been playing with abstract designs so far, like vibrant geometric patterns and fluid, colorful compositions. Are these styles on the right track, or are there other themes and subjects (maybe futuristic scenes, nature-inspired art, or seasonal concepts) that you’ve seen perform well lately? I’d love to hear from experienced contributors about what’s selling and any tips on spotting trends or making AI images stand out. Thanks so much for your help—I’m excited to learn from this amazing community and start contributing!Best,Techub

When I use cutter in Camera Raw, how I can disable grid or change type of grid as in Photoshop? Maiusc+Contro+G doesn't work. In older versions of camera raw you could do this.

Hi. I am now very upset about Adobe. I see so many AI photos on Adobe when I search and the review takes way too long.My photo was rejected due Quality issues. I now use Topaz AI to sharpen my photos. Unfortunately it doesn't work with that either. What do you think? Is the photo too dark and the sky not blue enough? Is the white of the flag too dark? Is it about the artifacts on the blue fabric? The fabric is shiny, so this won't work any better. Thanks Chris

With Adobe PRE 2025 we can use music tracks provided by Adobe. But what are the license terms and what would we do when we get copyright strike?

I'm trying to design something but I can't for the life of me figure out how do something nor do I know the correct wording/term for what I'm trying to do which makes looking it up really hard. I'm trying to place one object into another one but make still seem legible by seperating it from the second object its placed into. I wish to do this by using Object #1's outline and using it to hide/push away from Object #2. Here's a close example to what I'm talking about notice how the obects inside the flage has an outline thats separtating it from the flag it's inside of? I want to do something like that. I could just use the erase tool and do it manually but I want know/learn how to do it the right way and make it more clean than it would if I did it myself. Even just telling me the correct phrasing for what I'm attemping will help alot.

Hi! If I highlight text from an article in Adobe Pro DC, is there a way I can see, how much/the percentage that highlighted text constitutes of the complete text?

whenever i use the inflate tool in illustrator, the image turns to white. it only works when each object is individual, but even then, the background turns white. I am not sure how to fix it. im using illustrator '23. pls help 🙏

Hi, I use Ps Elements 2025 and we need to save images and submit in Jpeg format.  If I save the image using the Save for Web function the jpeg image does not display the metadata.First shot below show Raw image detail, 2nd shot show Jpeg image with no detail, 3rd shot is the Save for Web screen.  The Save for web screen does not give the option to save all metadata.  How can I save a jpeg image to include the metadata, specifically in Ps Elements?  Would appreciate any guidance, thanks.  Gustav

When will Arabic support for text be added to the 2021 version of Illustrator?

I've never had this problem before. I'm running CS5 Extended 64-bit. Here is my problem:I have an image with text on it. When I open the image, everything looks fine. But if I rotate it with the tranform tool, the image then becomes noticably pixelated. This has never happened before... or at least I don't think it has. It's really distracting and looks horrible. Could someone please help me out? What's going on and how do I fix it? I just opened up Photoshop tonight and it started happening. Below is an example of what's happening. The original image: After rotating with Tranform tool: Notice how the edges are not as smooth as the original. The same thing happens when I try to re-scale the image... what's going on!!?

Greetings,I've asked this before and sort of knew the answer. I can change the name of a PDF file only on my mobile phone as of last year anyway it's impossible to change the file name of a PDF opened in any Adobe on the computer. Now that Adobe rolled out its AI version of Adobe I'm asking if can I somehow ask AI to change the name of my PDF file? You know what I mean it's frustrating to get a banking statement and after you download it it reads 56748811.pdf and you want to be able to find it fast if needed, so you rename it CapitalOne-State-03-15-2025. You know? Frustrating I have no idea why I can do that on my Android Phone however, not with a Windows computer?.

When I try to change the video source, I must click the placeholder, and it simply plays the video in Captivate.  No option to change video source.  Anyone else?

VG Bernhard

Hi everyone,I often work with rasterized text layers where Layer Styles (like gradients) are lost. Manually recreating gradients using the Eyedropper tool takes too much time, Therefore, I'm looking for a script that can:1, Auto-detect and extract the gradient from a rasterized layer.2, Recreate the gradient and save it as a Custom Gradient in Photoshop.3, (Optional) If possible, restore other lost Layer Styles like strokes or shadows.I repeat this task often, so automation would be a huge time-saver. Any guidance or script suggestions would be deeply appreciated!🙏 Huge thanks in advance!

What is the layer that the red arrow is pointing to? And how do I get it like that? How is it different from a normal layer with a checkerboard pattern? I've tried many methods but still can't find the way I want. If I typed something wrong, I apologize. I just started using Photoshop for the first time a few weeks ago. Some of them don't look like chipping mask because some of them just have a + symbol behind them. It's a layer that has a small thumbnail in the layer that is the work we created. I don't know what it is.

How can I create a HUD style/shape like this picture....

After updating to IOS 18 beta i noticed that the liquid mode fails to show after it loads, i already reinstalled the app, restarted my phone and tried different pdf files, it doesnt even work on the demo pdf that comes inside the acrobat app itselfe. I was litrally reading my pdf in liquid mode and left my phone to update to ios 18 later when i go back to read the pdf in liquid mode it doesnt work and only switches to a blank white page when you press the liquid button. This is the same for months now while installed the latest version of ios 18 beta every time it comes out, im afraid this keeps happening in the final ios 18 version..

Hey, I'm hoping someone can help me because this is driving me bananas. The colours I see in the Premiere Pro preview are very different to the export, the export appears to be extreamly saturated, the big difference being the blacks and also the skin tones are very very red once exported. I've spent hours going through the various solutions that are mentioned here and elsewhere and nothing seems to work and I have no idea how to fix it. I'm editing on Windows for reference as there seems to be a Mac issue so it's not that. I've also tried adjusting the viewer Gamma which seems to be a reccuring problem for people, doesn't matter what I set, the issue is the same. I can't seem to find an issue with anything in the export settings either. This has come about because I have changed my camera and am shooting in log and adding a conversion to Rec 709 and then adding adjustments to that. I previously used a different camera and didn't shoot in Log and didn't have an
