Solved

hello everyone, I'm literally going insane with this one. I have to meet a deadline tomorrow morning and I haven't been able to work since yesterday. First I got an annoying "Could not open "file name" because of a disk error".  I tried everything in other forums and nothing worked. I uninstalled the app and tried installing it again, but now I get a "Installation failed". I've been trying for the last 3 hours to reinstall photoshop and nothing is working, the day is dying and the amount of work I have ahead of me is enourmous and add the Photoshop issue. I appreciate any type of help I can get. Funny that tomorrow I have to pay for my Creative Cloud sub.

I created the node and passed the parameters, but when I open the file, it still defaults to 8-bit

I've been working with the Custom Metadata Panels functionality in Bridge, building out panels for future use for myself and my department. Is there any expectation that the Custom Panels functionality will be added to Lightroom sometime in the near future?  Or alternatively, is there a way to import the exported JSON file from Bridge into Lightroom?

Hello,Has there been any work/success on reading or setting custom metadata fields in Premiere Pro vie ExtendScript?thanks,Kelly

VG Rolf

We have begun using Custom Metadata Panel.  I am building entry fields per the IPTC Core and Extension schema.  When I add an entry to "Event" for the IPTC Extension list, it won't appear in the metadata window.  However, when I add the data directly, it synchronizes back to the Custom Metadata Panel. To simplify, it appears I'm using the correct Property Name.  However, the update only happens if I add the data manually in the files Metadata window. For reference, I added an Event field, and that updated properly in IPTC Extension.  It almost seems like a cache issue.  I've cleared cache in Bridge, but that didn't resolve the issue. Any ideas about what's happening? Is there a list of IPTC Extension namespace fields that match exactly to what's listed in Bridge? Thanks in advance. Doug PalmerDept of Veterans Affairs

Dear folks, I am trying to copy custom created metadata from a project on my machine to another machine and that does not work. Please help!!! I’d even pay for the support here. Steps on my machine:Metadata Display Window > New SchemaTo that Schema, I add a property > For my client I created 11 custom fields (see screenshot attached)I fill the fields with keywordsBy adding the data to a customized field, the metadata is not only part of the premiere project, but it gets part tf the file. For some MXF und even mp4 files files a sidecar file is created. On clients machine:All footage incl. sidecar files copiedPremiere project copiedOpened and here comes the part, where it doesn’t work. I was assuming, that my custom metadata fields would show up in the project panel as they would on my machine, but they don’t. And I can’t figure out a way, how to make it work. As a next step, On my clients machine I created the same Metadata “Schema” as in my project.I even copi

[Moderator]

I can't activate PS v10 CS3. I have tried the published phone numbers for Adobe and they are invalid and it won't activate on line. I contacted their support who can't do it so they refered me to Forums. I have the correct serial number. When I used the link they gave me http://trials.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/legacy/99CABBAC-C975-4A06-8D99-064C6871EE80/PSE/10/win32/PhotoshopElements_10_LS15…     I got the message "The file archive part of Adobe PS Elements 10 is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe PhotoshopElements 10. Please download all parts." Please help.

I have/had a yearly subscription, running for about four months, paid monthly. After being double charged in February (once via SEPA bank transfer, then via Paypal) I contacted the Adobe customer service. They veryfied my payment via Paypal and sent me an Email I was supposed to use as a receipt, so my bank can charge back the SEPA transfer. This is what I did. Then, a couple of days later, on the 1st of march, I received an Email from Adobe: my subscription is cancelled (translated: "Confirmation of your cancellation"). I never cancelled my subscription. I also paid till the end of March at least. But now the subscription is gone and I can't even contact the customer service "because there is now current subscription"? April fools coming early this year? What is going on and how can I fix this? Any help is much appreciated.

When I create a simple PS droplet, it will go to the desktop, but when I drag a .jpg photo to the droplet, it says the droplet is damaged. So then I open the droplet and close it and it seems to open Photoshop, but then it won't open a new image and save the droplet preset actions to a new image.  I am in admin mode on my MacOS Ventura. What else could it possibly be?

Hi, I'm trying to upload an Epub to the apple store as I've been doing for years, but now I'm getting this error:ERROR ITMS-9000: epub_igualdade_racial_7ed.epub: OEBPS/content.opf(28): [OPF-027] Undefined property: 'pageBreakSource'.The pageBreakSource export option is a new feature added in the 2025 version. It's manly for epubs based on a printed version. I can validate the Epub with no errors in epubchecker. I don't want to create an extra epub only for Apple. Is anyone getting this same error?

Hello, everyone!I have followed this guide in an attempt to identify the reason why Adobe Acrobat Pro keeps crashing on our company PCs:https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-acrobat-crashes.htmlIt clearly states "Note: If you don't see the crash report dialog box after a crash or freeze, collect crash dumps/logs, process dumps, spin report, and process samples for all Acrobat processes and send them to the Adobe Support team. "So I follow the link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html and I create the crash dumps. Now, I don't know where to send the files and the customer support representative in the chat refuses to send me an E-Mail to send the files. How do we proceed?THANKS!
