I am attempting to depict flashing railway signal lights on paper and in a PDF. I’m using a multi-pointed star that I created in Illustrator, copy-pasted into InDesign and it looks great on screen. But when I export to PDF and then print that PDF on paper, anything on a black background just doesn’t show up.This is how it looks in InDesign at 200% magnification. Same 200% from Acrobat and appears the same on paper:If I zoom in to 800% on the PDF it’s marginally better but I need it to look correct at 100%, not 800%+.I’ve widened the spikes so they’re more rounded to get more area but it’s absolutely not the effect I want.Any suggestions? This has been vexing me for weeks now.

Adobe Fonts are unable to integrate to my Webflow project, after creating 3 different APIs and waiting more than 12 hours it has been completely unsuccessful and the CDNs haven't been updated for me to work on this website. After reaching customer service I had the not pleasant fortune to chat with three Adobe Customer Support agents who didn't have a single idea of what an API was, nor cared to read that I already tried many things I found in the Adobe troubleshooting guides. My last resort was clearly CS. They kept on switching me from one agent to the other, the second agent kept on sending me dead links and even urls with several Typos (He didn't even knew the right Adobe Fonts URL) and finally he ended the conversation telling me to go check on the APIs website.good job mate! I got pissed off and asked the next one how can I report this,at least he understands..The only thing I could get from three agents whose english is not ideal and who work in a rude manner is t

Hi everyone,I’m having a serious performance issue with After Effects 2020 and would appreciate any advice. When I open After Effects and load certain templates, the preview becomes extremely slow—sometimes dropping below 1 FPS. At the same time, RAM usage suddenly increases until it exceeds my 32 GB of memory, and eventually Windows becomes unresponsive or crashes. My PC specifications include: NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super 8 GB 32 GB RAM Windows I’ve already tried both upgrading and downgrading After Effects to different versions, and also templates(from light to heavy) but the same issue continues.Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Could this be related to the template itself, memory/cache settings, GPU acceleration, plugins, or another After Effects configuration?Any suggestions on what I should check would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi,I'm having issues with InDesign. At random times, I'm all of a sudden unable to save my document. I can't save, save as or undo anything. All these options are "grey" in the menu, and all I can do is close the document and hope for the best. First I thought it was because I had an old iMac, but recently I bought a brand nye iMac with the latest version of InDesign,  but the issue is still happening, with several different documents pretty often.   Working with a lot of books and deadlines, this is very stressful and extremly annoying. I always use the shortcut for saving, but then I realize nothing has been saved for a long time, and I have to start all over again.  Is there a way to fix this?

I shoot in 4:3 ratio on my Sony A7R5 but the default size of the sensor is 3:2.Every time I create a new project, I go to Crop, Reset it and copy the crop settings to all the images so they will be 3:2. Everything is fine until I quit LR and after reopening, the Ratio goes back to 4:3.This has been happening forever and it’s really a pain.First of all, there is no way to save a Default Import Preset to include Crop Ratio, which is dumb and second, the Crop tool should at least “remember” the setting it had before quitting.Talking about crop. I would love to see an AI crop that analyses the image and auto crops it according to subject size. For example, a person or a car or a plate of food.It would be amazing as a starting point now that Generative Expand is available, it makes sense.

Hi, I have been experiencing issues when opening .ai files. I think the problems started after the last update. I get a message saying 'Illustrator could partially read this file'. When the file opens I only see one artboard with the content broken apart, similar to what you would see if you opened a .pdf in Illustrator. I have tried installing a previous version and then going back to the latest version but it does not correct the problem. I have copied files to my hard drive and tried to place files into a new file but nothing gets me back my full file. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the file as I have just installed a trial version of Affinity Designer and my .ai files open without any issues. I really need to find a solution otherwwise I will probably have to go with Affinity Designer to open my files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have Lightroom Classic on my PC and on my laptop. One catalog doesn’t seem to fully sync, there are three files missing on my laptop catalog. This catalog is fully synched on my Lightroom versions on my tablet and Phone, so it’s just the laptop that’s missing the files. Any suggestions much appreciated.

I’m new to Acrobat Express but fairly familiar with the old desktop Acrobat Standard.  I know Adobe is not keen on User Guides or Reference Manuals, but I need something like that to learn how to use this new tool for desktop PDF handling.I can already see that essential PDF tools, such as editing, organizing, etc., are missing from this version.  I have no interest in the AI assistant, nor in any of the flashy graphic production that it seems to feature.  This seems to leave me with only the ability to open some image files (e.g., scanned output) and export them as PDFs (from which MS Word can take over to make them editable); or with a substitute for Acrobat Reader to open PDFs.  This doesn’t seem worth paying $110/year unless I’m missing something!?I don’t want to spend $240/year for Acrobat Pro, though that seems to be what’s required to do what I used to be able to do with the old Acrobat Standard 2017!  Is there and upgrade path (without loosing the money I’ve already dropped on

I have purchased adobe subscription and money is deducted from my account. However, i don't see subscription updated in adobe firefy.

I got a 1-year Adobe Express subscription via Airtel. How can I check if it's active and its validity? I started the 14-day trial with UPI AutoPay. Will I be charged monthly despite the Airtel plan? Please call me to resolve this quickly.

Hello,   Since upgrading to my new very powerful system, Lightroom Classic (version 15.0) has been performing extremely slowly.   Issue description: There are significant delays (several seconds, sometimes up to 10 seconds) before Lightroom responds, particularly when using the following tools:   • Masking (people, subject, background)• Color mixer / color correction• Crop overlay tool   All basic adjustments (exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, etc.) work normally. Other Adobe applications (After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) run completely smoothly. My previous, weaker system did not have these problems.   System specifications: • Windows 11 Pro (x64), Build 26100.6899 (25H2)• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (AMD onboard GPU disabled)• AMD Ryzen 9 9950X (16 cores, 4.30 GHz)• 128 GB DDR5 RAM (4×32 GB Corsair)• Mainboard: ASRock X870 Steel Legend WiFi• Catalog located on an external SanDisk Extreme SSD (1 TB) connected via high-speed USB hub   Steps already ta

My two Mac laptops are updated to latest Tahoe 26.5.2. Illustrator 2026 v30.7 has not been opening for over a week, even when the 2025 version is closed. I get reference code 224 and "Sorry, Illustrator has encountered an error and needs to close. You will not be able to use Illustrator at this time.”  Only option I’m given is to quit Illustrator. But the older 2025 v29.8.10 is working. What is happening?

Does the app not have the filters anymore????? I don't get it—did they remove them???

Hello guys, and thanks in advance for the kind reply 😃 .  I'm trying to reach an old goal, that is: automatize changing color label of clips in timeline. I'm trying the following.   a) define custom Premiere Pro shortcuts,  one per label color. b) Write an AutoHotkey executable, that presses the proper buttons when launched, activating the shortcuts defined in (a) c) Use the node.js library called Child process [1], implemented in my own extension, in order to launch the previous executable automatically, according with some triggering condition implemented inside my script.   Now, I'm not a professional programmer, and stuff like node.js and Autohotkey are totally new for me.  So, just before  starting a useless work, I ask you: do you think that such scheme could be doable?    My biggest concern is about the implementation of the node.js library and commands inside my extension.  Reading the article [1], it seems that the node.js c

Hi there,I got a new computer after a couple of years of exclusively using Lr mobile or on the iPad.Since my cloud quota was quite full, I’m in the process of syncing all my photos from the cloud down to LrC. The plan is to take the photos synced down out of ‘All synced photographs’, then put them back in order to upload only the smart previews. I’ve seen a lot of users do this successfully! However, for any photos in which I’ve tried this process (I’ve attempted this with very small batches before committing to all my photos) the sync process gets stuck at uploading. Please note:If I’m importing brand new images into the catalog and into ‘All synced photographs’, putting them into a collection or not, the syncing behaves as it should. There is no items pending sync in any other devices, and no items in the ‘sync errors’ folder in Lr web. I have updated LrC to the latest version.I’m really at a loss here and will appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! Is it possible in Adobe Illustrator to adjust the length of anchor handles without affecting their angle? Or vice versa — adjust the angle without changing the length?Achieving this precision manually with a mouse feels impossible, yet it’s so necessary for small optical adjustments, fixing "optical kinks" in smooth curves and customizing fonts and making other detailed edits.Right now, I rely on these clunky workarounds:If the line is straight, I create a helper line and drag the handle along it. If the angle matters, I use a circle for control. But honestly, this is so tedious, and I’m exhausted from doing it over and over. I’ve heard about path scribe, but I can’t afford them right now. My other searches have been fruitless. Are there any hidden settings, shortcuts, or tricks for this in Illustrator? If anyone has encountered this and found a solution, please share!

adobe is a scam at this point. how is one suppose to contact them ? i am geting changed multiple different prices and i cant talk to anyone about this other than the community. is this therapy for adobe victims?

I’ve searched this forum but couldn’t find anything that was recent (over 2 years ago) or actually had a solve in the comments. For the past week, I’ve been trying to edit some videos where the main file lives in my OneDrive. (I have no idea else where to store GBs worth of video on my work computer, and we use Microsoft apps at work so I have to use that storage system. I am on a Macbook though.) Every time I open up the file, it has to “Relink Media” and is always stuck at 21%, and even if I let it run for HOURS in the background, it never budges. I am able to play around in the timeline, and press play, just the footage never loads.I thought I found an answer in unchecking “Use Media Browser to locate files” in the Link Media box, but that did absolutely nothing. I’m currently looking at my Premiere screen where it’s trying to relink media at 21%.Is this a Premiere issue or OneDrive issue? I can clearly see the video files in my OneDrive, it’s just like it’s not connecting to Premier

Hello! Opening illustrator files from InDesign, working on them, saving them and going back to InDesign. The links are all updated, but sometimes it’s leaving anomolies, like double shadows of the figure in. Friends are having the same problem, one had the cursor x/y measurements from the illustrator file appear in InDesign - which wouldn’t even have saved into the file? Anyone else had this problem?Pictures - show the x/y (illustrator on the left - inDesign on the right) and the double calendar which is most definitely not there in the illustrator file!
