Hi,I could just cry. Photoshop/Lightroom updated - I don't even remember clicking update, although I certainly did - but oh well, I had just THOUSANDS of custom actions, THOUSANDS of custom brushes, plugins... Everything gone. Months of careful tailoring and whoosh, goodbye. Not even really with any warning whatsoever I'd say. Because even if I did click update, for all the years I've been loyal to Creative Suite and before, I would really have appreciated some kind of warning or preventive backup/rollback measure...Well I'll go cry now.Regards

So when I move a video from V1 to V2, the audio stays in A1 and I have to move it separately. It was synced at first, that is, if I moved the video from V1 to V2, the audio would automatically move from A1 to A2. Suddenly it stopped, and now I have to move them both manually. Just to be clear, the video and audio ARE LINKED. If I drag the video right or left, the audio follows. What I am talking about is moving them up and down. No matter which track I moved the video to, audio would move to the respective track. Now it does not. I'm sure it's something simple I am overlooking. Thank you!!

I know you have locked previous threads about this, but I feel so strongly about this I have gone out of my way to register and bring it to your attention again Remove this disgusting practice of installing McAfee by default. The download page selects the installation of this terrible software by default and completely erodes trust in your brand and products. Going forward I will be looking for viable alternatives to all Adobe software and this is likely the response of most of your customers after having to uninstall this trash.

I'm trying to level a horizon on a video that is just slightly off but the rotate function just snaps back to "zero" within the range of interest. Is there a way to override snapping or to enter small rotation values (which was possible in Rush)? I imagine that this is a somewhat common use case. Thanks.

Recently had to reinstall Windows 11 due to error when updating most of my CC apps to the latest version. After reinstalling After Effects, I noticed the preview screen is black when paused. It plays fine but, as soon as playback is paused, the entire screen goes blank. This happens in any project with any media. I have updated graphics card to latest driver, updated drivers to monitors, uninstalled and reinstalled AE, uninstalled and reinstalled to previous version, made sure the preview is not set to "Wireframe," turned off "Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels" and set rendering to "Mercury Software Only," cleared cache multiple times, restarted computer and AE multiple times, started in safe-mode, started in safe-mode with plugins disabled and preferences reset, made sure AE is added to graphics list with it set to "High Performance" graphics card, tried different preview resolutions. All out of ideas. System:AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5965WX 24-Cores (3.

Hi,For some reason, I can't right click on JPEGs or PNGs to open them in Photoshop anymore. All I get is a broken shortcut to "Photoshop.exe." PSDs still open properly. I thought I would uninstall the app to try and make that go away, but it's still there. How do I fix it? Re-installing Photoshop did not help. The broken shortcut is all that appears, even if I manually navigate to Photoshop 2024 in the Choose Another App menu.

I’ve been submitting photos to Adobe Stock, but many of them keep getting rejected for quality issues.  Could someone help me figure out what might be causing these rejections?Are there specific things Adobe reviewers usually look for when flagging “quality issues”? I can share a few sample images if that helps. Any feedback or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I want to point to a photo from a folder from multiple collections.  Lightroom will not be used to display the photos and I want to force the order in which photos are displayed outside of Lightroom.  For example, photo 199707001 is in folder "Source".  Photo 199707001 in Collection "A" might assigned a sequence number 0100 to be the 10th photo displayed and in Collection "B" photo 199707001 might assigned a sequence number 0150 to be the 15th photo displayed.  In collection "A", when photo 199707001 has 0100 appended, in the folder "Source" the photo id becomes 0100199707001.  In collection "B" if I then update the sequence number of photo 199707001 from 0100199707001 to 0150199707001, the identifier is changed to 0150199707001 in both Collection "A" and folder "Source". For many reasons, displaying photos in chronological order of the date/time stamp when they were taken doesn't work.  Using a subject name is no better because differe

Hi,I’m experiencing a few issues in Illustrator and need some help identifying the causes:Why do shapes (such as logos and icons) become distorted when copied into a new file?Why do fonts automatically convert to outlines when pasted into a new file?Why doesn’t the artboard copy over when pasting into a new file?Thank you,Sammi

Hello everybody,I have a problem with the Illustrator export as pixel based images.JPEGs and PNGs are everytime 1 pixel bigger in width or height in the resulting image than the elements or canvas/artboard dimensionis set in illustrator.Because I have to create a new GUI with background images and afull set of icons it is really inconveniant to open every PNG in Photoshopagain for resizing and re-saving.Ticking the pixel grid button doesn't solve the problem unforunately.Can you help me with it? Now, every time I try to install it, it crashes. No error codes. Nothing. It just closes after like two seconds. Meanwhile, I'm having even less success with Photoshop, where the installer won't even load. Same with Audition (which I need at the moment). Any help would be appreciated!

Hey everyone! I've been trying to either write a script or come up with a quicker way to do what I've written in the Subject. The idea is, you have a composition with tons of layers, some are going beyond the frame, some are within, but you have a certain crop. If you try to convert everything into a smart object, it will first run "Reveal All" command and then convert everything into a smart object, which means when you go inside that smart object, you will see every single pixel that was there, the original crop would be gone, it will just adapt a new crop to show whatever pixels you had in there. My colleague found a way, that if you save the file that you want to convert to a smart object first and then drop this exact file into itself in photoshop as a smart object, it will actually retain the exact same crop when you try to go inside that smart object. My question, it there an easier way through scripting or some hidden command that I'm not aware of, that you

I have a plugin that kicks off a long running task. The task, obviously, doesn't terminate when the plugin is reloaded and I'm left with a trail of processes. Someone has suggested that there's a _G[] table  or similar that I can store persistent values outside of the plugin's scope in but I'm having trouble making that work. Is it a thing or have I misunderstood?

Hello,I am struggling to get this expression to work. I thought someone might be able to help me. I want a text layer to move y position depending on an if-else statement. If the text field is one or two line heights or not move to y1 or y2 position... Right now, this code works, but instead of moving the y it displays the y position with the text value. (example: some text1820) I am not sure what I am doing wrong.  Thanks! var l = thisLayervar tx = l.text.sourceText.value; var h = tx.split('\r'); var n = h.length; var y1 = transform.yPosition = [1920];var y1 = transform.yPosition = [1920];var y2 = transform.yPosition = [1820]; if (n > 1) {[value + y2 ]; } else {[ value + y1 ];}

Why does Adobe Stock keep rejecting new AI submissions as “Similar content” when there is clearly no similar image in my portfolio or on the platform?I carefully checked using the Visual Search and manual keyword browsing — and found nothing even close in style, color, composition, or subject.❓ So here’s my direct question:Where can we see what Adobe considers “already existing” in the library?Where is the list of “overused themes or visuals”?How are we supposed to compare before uploading, if these resources are not public?I’m not talking about random gradients or textures. My content is well-styled, curated, and market-friendly. But I get rejected with “similar” without any actual references.If Adobe is moving toward exclusivity — fine, but authors need clarity. We are trying to work with the system, not against it.Please provide real examples or guidelines, not generic advice.Thank you.

Hey there. This just started happening in the last week or two. When I go to use Lumetri Color, the sliders all start all the way to the left as shown in the picture. There default values all show 0 as well. Then, at the slightest touch, the slider will jump all the way to the right and max out the value. So the slider does not work, and it only allows default, or max. no in between. I can adjust settings just fine by typing in the values, but this take way longer and i cant see the change gradually. Premiere is up to date, running 24.1.0 and my macbook is a 16" 2023 with an m2pro chip and 16gb of ram. Sometimes this issue happens and sometimes it doesn't. I have tried resetting my computer, resetting premiere, it just seems to happen when it feels like it. Thanks.

The interviews for the project I am working on were delivered as 6k BRAW files (6144x3456), and Canon avI0 files (2048x1080). Timecodes do not match. If I select the corresponding clips in the Media Browser and use the audio to synchronize, I end up with one camera angle displayed correctly, while the other is zoomed in or shrunk down in the frame. I actually want the mulit-cam to be accessing the proxies (which are all 1920x1080), but I'm not seeing an option to do that. I'm working in a Production, if that makes a difference. With Gemini AI's guidance, I've tried at least a dozen ways to create a multi-cam clip from building sync sequences. I wish I could relay all the different things we tried, but it gives me a headache just thinking about it. It always ends up as a multi-cam sequence with all audio channels mixed down to one channel, never a multi-cam clip with discrete audio channels in the bin that I can then open in the source window. I'm at my wit's end here. Someone

Hello, Until last week, it was possible to add PDF files directly as attachments to a Microsoft Outlook mail.Now an additional button has been added where a link is shared and the file is shared through Adobe's cloud service. Is it possible to turn off the option to send the file as a link (and thus upload it to the cloud) by default? So that all files go directly to Outlook as attachments by default again?
