Premiere 26.2.2 keeps putting the first 5 clips in a folder in the list view at the end of the timeline when the whole folder is dragged onto it:Here you can see the clip count starts from C0425. The first clips are at the end and even so their order is messed up: In order to make the order correct you have to select the first clip in the folder:then scroll alllllllllllwaaaayyyydooooowwwwwn to the bottom of the ckips list and then select the last on with Shift. And only then put the files in the timeline - this way the order is correct.NB: you cannot change the sort order type when in the list view.
I've been trying for over 3 hours to create a caption in this program. I've already exported it as TXT, but this thing won't import it. I've already exported it as JSON, but this thing makes it difficult to correct the text. You know what the difficulty is? I don't even need to explain it.I've already transferred the Portuguese text, understood everything, and manually corrected the English part without success. I've already exported everything in English to copy and paste it, but the transcription in this thing doesn't work. Both Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop, with their TOTALLY AWFUL artificial intelligence, block or prohibit almost everything you ask for. It interprets a photo of lingerie as adult content and prevents you from editing it. It's also IMPOSSIBLE to use the credits properly. You ask it to correct the position of a hand, recreate an image, or simply change a person's angle from facing forward to facing backward, and it fails.https://community.adobe.com/questions-729
this is the 3rd time I've seen this issue in maybe a 2-3 year span (meaning each time issue resurfaces its a different mac os and different version of AE and premiere). if you look at the first picture thats what it looks like in AFter Effects. I rendered it out of after effects and brought it into premiere and it looked fine. and I'm on premiere 2025. Then I updated premiere today to 2025.1.0 and when I reopened premiere it had all this nasty blue outlines behind the text in my MOV. the last 2 times I had this happen, I re-rendered the text and it looked fine and then the minute you close out of the proejct and come back in, the issue is back. and can only be solved by re rendering a brand new MOV file and not closing out of premiere.
Voice to text still remains a problem on the new m5 pro chips, I am currently using the M5 pro 16inch macbook pro, and the app just remains to be buggy compared to my m3 macbook. This has been a frustrating experience.
Normal behaviour: Before delivering the final edit to my clients, i usually export the txt from all graphics on the timeline and send them by email for them to check the correct names, titles and function descriptions. I use the graphics panel and the function under the top right three dots … This exports a .txt or a .csv file with all the text. Bug: The second line of the txt is not exported. See screenshot. The words "Samenwerkingscoach, alliantiemanager, Ingenieur” are missing. These were all second lines. The are also missing in the .csv file
I have several custom-made workspaces to fit and maximize the amount of screens that I have. Noticed recently that plan I'm switching from workspace to workspace the program. Monitor will be omitted. I have saved the program monitor to all of these workspaces initially and re-save them when I noticed this issue. But, the issue still persists if I click on a sequence, the program monitor will open as a hovering tab as opposed to being located in it correct location. Very annoying.
RGB curves within the Lumetri Colour panel aren’t displaying accurate colours or light adjustments. Making the slightest adjustment causes footage to look washed out. It doesn’t appear to remove all the grading, as it appears brighter than the raw footage. Image below These washed out colours occur within the Red, Green, Blue, and B&W channels. Making any slight adjustment causes the same error. In testing other footage from the same camera, RGB curves works as usual. No change in settings (4K 3840x2160, 50fps, 10-bit colour), and the same LUTs applied, which makes me curious as to why some shots work and others don’t. More details:Occurs in this latest version 26.2.2 (build 3) and previous versions too.Occurs with footage from different cameras (Sony a7siii, DJI Air 3 etc)
Title: Premiere Pro 26.2.2 hangs indefinitely on startup ("Initializing application") — infinite loop in CoolType / ATEWrapper FontServer while scanning a specific font (Windows 11 25H2)Severity: High — Premiere Pro cannot launch at all until the offending font is located and removed. No error is shown; the app hangs silently on the splash screen.Affected version: Adobe Premiere Pro 26.2.2. (The same hang also occurs with Premiere Pro 2025 on the same machine, indicating a shared font-engine code path.)Operating system: Windows 11, version 25H2. Reproduced on two independent machines.Summary On startup, Premiere Pro hangs indefinitely on the splash screen at "Initializing application." The process stays alive and one worker thread spins continuously (~one CPU core, ~6% total), but initialization never completes and the application must be force-terminated. The hang occurs during font enumeration: ATEWrapper's FontServer initialization calls into CoolType (the font engine), which enters
Premiere is exporting syntactically valid SCC text, but the SCC events are packet-overlapping by 1–5 frames in many locations, making the file unusable in MacCaption and Subtitle Edit. This was not an issue before 2026 Premiere and does not show up in 2025 Premiere, and even resolves if I export from 2025 Premiere the SCC files that 2026 Premiere creates, but it’s a massive problem to have to do that for every SCC file I create in 2026 Premiere. The problem is this: when creating SCC files (NDF) from 2026 Premiere, they now have overlapping timing errors when opened in other programs such as MacCaption or Switch. This is leading to rejections of SCC files we are creating and supplying to our clients. The problem is also undetectable within Premiere because the files will import and display normally within premiere. This file is not “corrupt” at the raw text/hex/parity level, but it does appear to be invalid or noncompliant SCC because the SCC command packets are timed too tightly togethe
Match framing subclips back to master clips does not work if they are in separate projects in a production. Steps to recreate1. Import master clip to master clip project in a production 2. Create subclips and move to a subclips project in the production3. Create an edit in an edits project in the production & add the subclips made above4. Match frame from sequence X2 Expected behaviour:Sequence should first match to subclip, then to master clip. Observed behaviour:Subclip does not match frame to masterclip (like it does where everything is in one project). Added bonus:Make one of the subclips NOT be restricted to trim region - now the 2nd match frame matches to the start of this sub clip, regardless of actual match point.
Issue: In Adobe Premiere Pro 2026, audio waveform generation after importing clips into the timeline is extremely slow. Even on high‑performance systems, it takes a long time before the waveform appears, delaying the start of editing.Impact: This causes workflow interruptions, especially when working with multiple audio files or compressed formats like MP3.Tried Fixes: Clearing media cache, converting audio to WAV, enabling multithreaded waveform generation, and updating drivers — but the delay persists.Request: Looking for a reliable way to speed up waveform display or confirmation if this is a known bug in Premiere Pro 2026.
In Adobe Premiere Pro 2026, when I create a mask and apply it, for example, to a Gaussian Blur, and then try to make it track, it just keeps loading and does nothing.
When using an adjustment layer placed above a piece of footage, changing the layer’s opacity with keyframes causes any cross dissolve transitions applied to the layer to both display a freeze-frame of footage beneath it, and dip to black (not in the normal “dip to black way”, but just fading from the freeze-frame to blackness). The keyframes do not have to overlap with the transition, nor do they have to even be visible in the portion of the layer to which you applied the transition.
Pr 26.2.2, Win 11 26h1, 14700K, 4080, a couple of colleagues have confirmed the issue.Start a new project, make a sequence, place some video on the timeline Create 2 keyframes for the position property, smooth them out and in Try to move the left keyframe handle to the edge to make them smoother. The handle won’t go to the left or will but partly. Even if you move the keyframe further away from the edge.Plus the right keyframe handle disappears when the keyframe reaches the edge of the window. No matter if it’s pinned to clip or not.
Lumetri color settings not showing (Premiere 26.2.2)How it should look (Premiere Pro 25.6.5)I have a range of MOGRTs I’ve made that replicate retro looks using Lumetri Color applied to media (which you replace in Premiere). The Lumetri Color changes have stopped showing in Premiere in the latest update. Other people have reported the same issue.I have tried re-rexporting the MOGRT from After Effects, but the problem persisted. I am using a MacBook Pro. Apple M1 Max. 64GB ram. MACOS Tahoe (26.5.1).
Premiere Pro 26.2.2 on macOS Tahoe 26.4 / M4 Max — complete video playback failure when any still image layer is added to timeline. Full diagnostic report attached.
Recently you instituted a change to MERGE with a corrected transcript file instead of REPLACE with the corrected transcript file. I'm not so sure this was a good idea. It appears to me that the merging is causing errors. I have a very accurate transcription file that I'm attempting to use to replace premier zone transcription. (I previously posted there about transcription and the process I must use to get accurate results.) I think something was broken in the recent update. I'm about halfway through caption and correction of transcript in an hours worth of program and find myself making far more corrections usual. It’s much more typical of when I was using Premiere alone to do transcription. There are extra/repetitive caption cells. There is a cell/entire sentence in timeline that NEVER APPEARED in transcription/actual audio. [I'm not going to quote, "To prevent, "we should always provide the general advice "on a level of the general population."] Far more than usual, caption cells a
This issue was reported by several of my colleagues, and I checked it and can reproduce the bug. Drag+middle mouse button is used for dragging your video in the Program monitor. When the zoom level is 100% or Fit it works alright, but when the image is zoomed in, the middle mouse button fails to grab the image on the first click but catches it on the second. If you change the zoom level again this behavior may repeat. I couldn't determine what exact zoom level causes it, but it's totally reproduciable. You can see it in this video, once the mouse pointer moves and the image stays in place - it's this bug. -The mice buttons work properly - It happens in any Premiere Pro where this feature with dragging is available - Several users reported this issue so it's not machine-bound. Windows only. - Happens with any media, on any sequence Steps to reproduce: see the video, do the same - try dragging the video in the program monitor with the middle mouse button, changing the zoom
Adobe Premiere 2026.2.2 (Build 3). I have been roundtripping (export > reimport) .mov ProRes exports from my timeline and noticed a contrast/gamma shift on my ProRes exports. Image is noticeably darker.Seems to only be affecting exports from .R3D source material. This is new and should NOT be happening.Funny thing is...this change only seems to occurs in 422 HQ, 4444, and 4444 XQ - not in 422.- Color Management is off.- Same exporting from Premiere or Media Encoder.------I’m pretty sure this has to do with exporting R3D footage to ProRes.Dynamic-linked clips to AE and exported. It does NOT have this problem.Ladies and Gentlemen - we have a Premiere Bug.***** I am at a full standstill right now and this is ruining my deliverables timeline. Someone - please help. *****
I was working on my project and I think I went to add an adjustment layer and the following warning appeared 'A low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Player (Player:5)' and now I can no longer play or view my project. This now applies to all of my Premiere projects. I have tried the recommended troubleshooting steps by holding down shift and checking the boxes that appear but the problem still persists.I am running version 26.2.2 (Build 3) on a 2023 Mac Studio Chip: Apple M2 MAX Memory: 64GB MAC OS: Tahoe 26.2
Am I crazy?Pr 26.2.2 (PC specs attached)Source patching is on, and yet, I CANNOT drag audio to the timeline at all. If I drag video with audio, only the video makes it onto the timeline. If I drag audio only, I get the “no parking” (not available) cursor hovering over the audio track.See attached screen recording. This is a brand new project, the very first thing I tried to do.I have already rebooted the computer, and restarted Pr while holding down Alt to clear the cache/reset prefs, etc.No change.Any ideas?
August 2025 Issue with Project Manager [PP Version 25.3 – latest version][OS Sequoia 15.5 – latest version] I have a large project to offload to a colourist and have tried to use the 'Collect files and copy to a new location' function in Project Manager (File > Project Manager…) After several attempts I am still receiving the "An unknown error (-1609629681) occurred during the Project Manager operation. Please save your project and retry the operation." I have been looking for a solution for days now. Here's what I've tried based on Adobe support and what I've seen on this forum: 1. Check available disk space - I have three times what is needed on my external SSD 2. Uncheck the following boxes:Include preview filesInclude audio conform filesExport media files to match clip namesExclude unused clips Update OS—latest version OS Sequoia 15.5 4. Update PP—Version 25.3 5. Copy sequences into a brand-new project/save/try ag
