Photoshop

Here we go again. Another adobe issue. I'm using the latest version of photoshop on the latest version of windwos 11. Whenever i open a psd it takes about 2 minutes before we can start editing the file. If i disconnect the net/wifi it works fine. I dont know where adobe gets off raising the prices again with this bug loaded software. 

When I'm working with  files, I keep getting these color blocks that pop up on the image. It gets REALLY bad when I'm working with large files. My graphics card is up to date, all PS updates are installed...I'm at a loss of what could be going on. 

I was just got over suffering the Ctrl+C bug in Illustrator, and now I'm on to an INSTANT CRASH in Photoshop when I try to use the Quick Selection Tool. I've tried this with multiple file types. As soon as I click the Quick Selection Tool from the tool bar, I get a quick freeze and an option to Submit Crash Report. This also happens when trying Select and Mask. Running Photoshop 26.9, fully updated Windows 11. I have Older GPU Mode checked in Preferences > Tech Previews, as I saw that was a fix for some people a few weeks back. No luck.

Hello,1) I edit first my pictures in lightroom. Prophoto colorspace right? "Correct" histogram... no clipping2)export to photoshop in prophoto , tiff 16 bits. Prophoto colorspace in photoshop. 3)in attachments (left lr, right ps),  histograms result...( on screen the picture is the same in lr and ps). so... which one to believe? Should i adjust one more in ps? thank you very much. 

Hi community,I use a Mac - MacOS Ventura, have CC using PS but now I always get the message 'scratch disk is full', and there's only one disk on the display. PS will not open, then how can I add another volume like a external hard drive of 1Tb?? Using de 'command' button whilst opening PS doesn't work either. It used to work, until the update. Doen anyone has another way to get it working? Thanks in advance. Carine.

Hello, I have a question. Since updating Photoshop to version 26.10.0, I’ve noticed a software bug. The “Starter Tutorials” feature in the top right corner is permanently active and surrounded by a blinking blue circle. It cannot be closed or disabled. When minimizing Photoshop (on the latest macOS version), the blue circle also appears in the Dock next to Photoshop itself, as if it were a separate application. This is quite annoying, as it also makes the program slower to minimize. Does anyone know a solution for this issue, or is there a way to completely disable it?Best regards,Patrick

Since a while, a very important function of PS is not working any more. And I don't mean, that the "generate Image Assets" has moved to Automate/Generator Plugins/Image Assets. I mean that nothing is happening any more. PS is not even creating an assets folder any more. I have hundreds of PS-Files that automaticly export Image Assets of properly named Layer-Groups in different sizes & formats (png, jpg). I use these in After effects for example, where they are automaticly updated. Without this function I have to spend a lot of time to export the multiple assets.  The "Quick Export" and "Export as" feature doesn't help her neither, because it's not completly automatedAnybody else having the same problem?   Photoshop 26.10.0 on Macbook Pro M4Max 128GB, macOS 15.6.1    

Running Sequoia 15.6 on an Apple M1. I cannot open Photoshop without holding down the Shift key. I now cannot go to PS from Lightroom--see below  for a screenshot of what I get instead of the image I want to edit. My Creative Cloud files are all up to date. Thanks for any useful help.

The AI Remove button should have an upscale option like the Generative Fill has, because although the results are pretty good, they are blurry and low res.

Hello, since Photoshop last update, I can't resize anymore with the moving tool. I use to press ctrl+T to be able to resize manually but it doesn't work anymore 😞

Hi all, I know some have asked this before but the answers did not solve my problem.  I have an old B/W scanned negative that gives the above error when using the scratch removal in the neural filter.It is unique to this particular image. It does not occurr in other scanned B/W images. However, if I rotate the image so it is landscape instead of portait, it works! Other images work independently of portrati or landscape mode. Any one have any ideas?

I feel that API is lacking a lot in photoshop, typically: I tried to load action in photoshop, because I am doing UXP batch processing, in addition to the feature we have made, I want to let users create their own action and then add it to the plugin and then press run in batch, I tried many ways but in UXP it seems not to allow access, on CEP JSX platform it has allowed that, it is really convenient

HelloWhen we have an empty value in the alt:alt="" I got "No alternate text is specified" , is there awhy to simply not have this text shown when alt is empty? (same issue with no "alt" at all ) Best regards

I use photoshop web browser on my samsung fold 6. During May i believe there was an update that also caused the buttons not to work with the file menu type settings and the zoom. The zoom options don't work at all, zoom in, out , 200%, and so on but I can click the search button and type zoom in and click it in the search field and the zoom will function. Otherwise all top menu option buttons function like and , ,invite, cloud, name, It seems to only affect the file options like back to home, save as, export, settings, ect.   Everything within the drop down menu either doesn't respond at all or some settings will function if I hold down the button which opens a second drop menu, like clicking layer, then clip to layer bounds, that button will function but I had to hold the buttons down and quickly swipe over or it just closes the menu.   The version history does not function either, which is very frustrating because I've had some site crashes lately that caused me to lose

Hi everyone, hope you are all well! I have been assigned to make layoutfiles from scanned contactsheets.This process, if done manually, is very time consuming. My current workflow is the following:1. Open up contactsheet2. Make selection of first image on contactsheet3. Crop4. Save as new file5. Go one step back6. Make selection of next image7. Crop8. Save as new fileAnd then just eat sleep repeat... I am currently doing this to a lot of contactsheet. Does anyone have any sugestions to a better workflow? I thought of a possible script where I could manually select all images in the ps file and then export all of these selections as individual files. Would this be possible?I have a lot more to go so I am available if there are any questions to the process.. I hope anyone out there can help me. Kind regardsMagny, dk   

Photoshop wiped all my user settings, Actions, Workspace, Brushes, Shortcuts, when upgrading to 2025. This never happened with any previous update. I'm presuming I ave now lost everything as I cannot find any backups and all info from Photoshop 24 seems to have been automatically wiped?

For the last 24 hours I have been unable to open any of my desktop apps included in my plan (CC, Br, Lr and Ps).Each time I do, I get the same dialogue box quoting Error 12053. My mobile apps and online apps do not seem to be affected.I have not changed any settings on my firewall, anti-virus or router, and googling Adobe Server availability says no issues are detected. I have also rebooted my PC several times but this has not yielded any positive change.According to "My Account" on the Adobe website, I have all five desktop apps available for download/install (even though they are already installed), but when I try to, I get the same issue of "unable to connect to server". I am going round in circles and do not have much hair left to tear out. HELP!!

When building campaigns at scale, it would be incredibly useful to be able to link multiple text layers (and layouts) to a single edit point — a basic .txt file. It's already possible in InDesign, but it could be even more useful if implemented simply, i.e. making it behave just like any other linked smart object. The variables feature that's been available for a while is finnicky and easy to break, which makes it impractical. On the other hand, designers, particularly those who use design systems that take advantage of Photoshop's existing linked smart-object feature, would greatly benefit! Desktop, tablet, mobile, and all the banners, and the social posts, and the emails, and the brochures, and on and on — all linked to the same headline.txt file. It'd be glorious. Surely something so simple could be added easily?
