Photoshop

Hello,I'm in a process of making assets for Unity3D engine and I'm making transparent png's with alpha channels premultiplied with black. My questions:To this day I've been using superPNG plugin to add alpha channel because it was really hard to find option to do it in Save As... menu. Today very very accidentally I've found Export -> Render Video where I can choose PNG and premultiplication. Am I doing something wrong or is it the proper Photoshop way to export png via video function? It seems really hidden!I can do the same for TIFF, PICT(i suppose no pict for me because its pure mac extension?), and tga format with one black layer and ticking Alpha Channels box, but its somehow greyed out for PNG? Why is that?I think its some kind of inconsistency, or am I missing something?Thank You for your time,Peter

I've been creating and using custom actions for years, which I use to speed up my client work.  They save me significant time, and have been solid over the past decade. Yesterday I found that I had to reinstall photoshop. When I launched it, all of my actions were gone. These were actions I imported at some point, from older .atn files, but those .atn files were long gone. All of the Adobe documentation tells you how to back up your .atn files before reinstalling photoshop, and how to import those, which is the same as it's been. but if you do not have access to those original .atn files, there is no documentation about how to recover the actions.  But you can. And I did. Here's what I did. (I'm using a mac)On your drive, in Users/username/library/Preferences there are folders for all of the versions of photoshop you've had installed on that machine. Adobe Photoshop 2021 SettingsAdobe Photoshop 2022 SettingsAdobe Photoshop 2023 SettingsAdobe Photoshop 2024

Na minstens 8 x Photoshop er af gegooid en er weer opnieuw opgezet te hebben, met de intentie om de taal interface over te zetten van Engels naar Nederlands, uiteindelijk de moed maar opgegeven. When running the crop command as a recorded action in the latest versions of Photoshop (25.12) and Photoshop Beta (25.13) on Windows the crop handles are missing and reposisioning is sluggish. The crop tool works as expected when not run as an action.

I attached the details of the crash through Error Send.I tried installing 2025 as a trial, and I also changed it to image processing's fast -> stable, which many users said was the solution. (As far as I know, stable is an option arising from a year-long error in select subject to avoid a crash from gpu processing. cpu processing)However, both options are too slow compared to previous versions, and Crash occurred. (Actually Crash in Remove Tool also happens in 25.12. The computer just turns off, not just Crash. So before you use Remove Tool, you should always be nervous and press Ctrl+S to save psd).Of course, my driver is a studio driver, and it's the latest version of 565.90.I would like Photoshop to provide features that can actually be used reliably.Of course, I know there will be people who use it without errors.But since this is a bug reporting tab, I don't need to make unnecessary comments like no problem. I don't know if this is fixed in the current beta.  

Hi,I keep getting the message that my scratch disks are full. However, when I go to Edit > Purge, the only option I have is Video Cache, the rest are grayed out. The forums tell me that means that everything is already deleted. I clicked Purge Video Cache, but I still receive the message that my scratch disks are full and I can't find a solution to this here on the forums.I use a Macbook Pro, if that helps, and I just updated Photoshop to the most recent update.

Anyone know how to get an old Photoshop Beta version back? I removed 25.4 and now I'm stuck because 26.0 won't work on my PC

How do i get my toolbars to show up in front of my projects? When i select the brush and try to select a brush size at the top the menu box opens behind my floating projects.

Since the last update - to version 26.5, photoshop wont open any of the new files that i save. Ive tried saving them in different locations on the disk, and on different disks, and still wont work.  Also noticed that the text tool will not allow me to create any new text layers.I get the same alert window every time.Working on a macbook pro, updated to the latest version of Sonoma.

so out of the blue photoshop has decided to completly restart pc every time i use it. after opening the app and using for about 2 min the pc completely shuts down with no warning like its being unplugged and then turns back on. its a strong gaming pc with lots of storage memory etc, thats what makes it really wierd. i can run any game no matter how demanding but i cant use photoshop. ive tryed different ways to fix it but nothing has worked. It cant be overheating over anythign like that because ive check the temps and they are all fine. ive reinstalled, tryed studio driver, wtahced numerous tutorials, made it administrator, updated evrything on my pc, i also recently did a hard reset on my pc so its really fresh. i also cant open ps within adobe cloud idk what that abt. please help if u can i have no idea what i should do.

I have a trial version of Adobe Plan Lr+Ps with a monthly payment and an annual commitment. I read somewhere that the desktop version of Ps only works 99 days a year without an internet connection. Is this true and is this my case? If so, I would cancel the subscription during the trial period. Thanks  for the answer.

I've been browsing through this forum trying to find a solution to this problem, but haven't succeeded. My brush keeps reverting back to my regular laptop cursor and won't allow me to draw/paint/use my brush. I've tried resetting my tools, updating my tablet and checking my stylus sensitivity, but haven't had any luck. Sorry if this is an obvious fix, but I'm genuinely stumped and haven't found anything that might help me.

I im making simple plugin with buttons which can run photoshop actions, (removeBgBtn) works correct but two another button wont run, there is no error in logs. I have a problem with photoshop V22.1.1... Whenever I start photomerge photoshop freezes and I can't do anything. I have to kill it from the task manager... Can anyone help? Thanks

Hello everyone. I bought your product. Faced with the problem of using generative filling. When trying to use generative filling, it gives an error "Check your Internet connection and try again." Photoshop is set to a clean registry, all remnants of old versions have been cleaned. The host is clean, I tried the same VPN (I'm from Ukraine) and still nothing works. I'm using Windows OS installed on a Mac. Currently, the issue of not being able to open or save Photoshop and XD files is persisting, and I can't get any work done. 😭 The file was created in Photoshop and saved in the cloud. But when I try to reopen the file from the cloud, it won't open. Why is Adobe acting up like this lately...? Photoshop alignment and distribution are not working when using pixel layers to distribute.But it's working when using Path and Shape. How do I fix it? Is this a bug or just misuse?

Photoshop constantly just forgets my settings.  It is really stupid and it's been doing this for years.  It doesn't even have a button to load settings so I have to go hunting for the folder to paste them into every time.  So it forgets my settings every update or just sometimes randomly for fun.There's no button to easily load my saved settings.They introduced a cloud but it doesn't even save my settings to it.The cloud also doesn't sync my settings between my home and work computers. What is the point of this cloud? What the heck are you doing Adobe?

For about a week now, whenever I use Photoshop on my iMac it causes the entire computer to crash and restart. It only happens when I'm using PS. Sometimes it'll only be a minute or two before it crashes, sometimes 20 minutes, sometimes a few hours into using it, so it's wildly inconsistent and very frustrating. I have a iMAc that's been updated to the latest version of Monterrey and Photoshop CC which is also updated to the latest version. Things I have tried so far- making sure my operating system and the program are both up-to-date- virus sweep- uninstalling and re-installing PS HELP!!! Any ideas?Thanks

It's simple and I do use this often. Problem: So when I lock a layer, and then I want to copy a layer below this locked layer (using Alt+ Mouse Drag for quick copy) it copies the locked layer, instead of a layer that I want.I think photoshop should bypass the locked layers, when copying things directly on the canvas.Thanks.
