Photoshop

Hi guys, I am struggling with editing to a photoshop template. I know my way around in photoshop for basics but am needed to edit this template...how do I do this? https://stock.adobe.com/templates/3-cone-style-paper-boxes-mockup/292027809?prev_url=detail  

I know this question has been asked before. But I can't find a satisfactory solution to cropping individual photos from a scanned image (which usually consists of 2-4 prints).I know the easiest way is to automate this with photoshop's crop & straighten function. But its accuracy leaves a lot to be desired (i.e. sometimes crops a bit too much, other times leaves a tiny white border. And it is almost uniformly bad at leveling slightly askew photos). I also tried a bunch of standalone software, such as scan tailor and paper scan, but they were worse than Photoshop in my opinion.I saw some of the old scripts @Stephen Marsh created, but when I run them on my Applee Silicon Mac, they just crash.  Here's an example of what my original scanned file looks like. It'd be best if I can automate this entire process, as I'm looking more than 1000 old family photos 

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing an issue when printing from OS 13.6.7  Photoshop v 25.0.0 to my Epson SureColor SC-P20000, and I’m hoping someone here might have some insights. The problem occurs when I create a single canvas with multiple images pasted together. When I send the file to print, the plotter advances the paper by about 15 cm, prints only a partial section (around 30 cm), and leaves the rest of the print blank.Here’s what I’ve checked so far:The canvas size matches the paper size exactly.There are no excessive margins or empty spaces in the file.Automatic cutting is disabled on the plotter.The issue doesn’t happen with single images—only when multiple images are combined on one canvas.I suspect it might be a setting or workflow issue within Photoshop, but I can’t pinpoint what’s causing the problem. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!

Hello!   Last year my trusty iMac from 2013 crashed and I thought, lets buy a new Mac, because I always buy secondhand stuff. After working with B/W photographs for almost ten years I also dabbled into color again, so I bought a Mac Studio M2, an LG screen and a Spyder5 Pro.   Immediately I realised Photoshop was [cursing removed]  my images. In ACR (Camera Raw) everything looks fine, I spent around 30min finetuning everything and then opening it up in PS, only to see my shadows are lifted/crushed/posterized. See image below, notice the difference in the shadows? Mind you, I am looking at this image on a calibrated Adobe RGB screen, I don't see the difference on my iPad, iPhone or old iMac monitors as well.(left image) photoshop, (right image) camera raw     So.. Hi folks. I don't use Photoshop on a daily basis, but I just recently learned that the Auto Tone keyboard shortcut (Shift+Ctrl+L) now starts and saves performance logging instead of doing what it's supposed to do.I don't see how this is useful? The attached screen shots shows that the shortcut SHOULD be assigned to the auto tone command, but I'm not able to find out how to change the behaviour I'm experiencing. I'm working on Windows 10, English, with a Norwegian keyboard, if that could have any thing to do with it. It's worked before (old keyboard at least).  Any help is greatkly appreciated. Best regards Stig M. Thu

Hi! I have an Asus zenbook duo with touch screens, and a pen that comes with it. Pressure sensitivity works perfect in programs like Onenote, Word etc. but I can't get it to work in Photoshop. I have an older version, CS6, and the pen is a SA201H from Asus. I've tried so many different solutions, but nothing seems to work...

Hi everyone,I’m back with another very specific request.Someone on my team accidentally altered the colors of some text layers. We usually work with solid black (#000000) and white (#FFFFFF), but now some layers are slightly off (e.g., #0A0A0A or #FCFCFC). These subtle variations are causing issues with our stroke automation and are a nightmare to spot and fix manually.Is there a way to automatically adjust these text layer colors to the nearest solid black or white?I’m dealing with about 200 documents, so manually fixing them one by one, layer by layer, even with actions, isn’t really practical.Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I've used layer masks to swap faces and other things in photos hundreds of times. Suddenly, when I paint white to reveal, I get something a blend of background and a shadow of the image I'm trying to mask in. I just updated to 21.2.2 or whatever today, but the problem stays with me. I saw other tips that the mask needs to be pure white and pure black, but nobody says how to get white or black pure again if it's contaminated. It certainly looks like white and black, but when I paint onto the mask, even the mask in the layer menu looks like it's painting light grey with speckles.  I tested painting on other things, which I've done before, and now everything I paint looks like little shapes or something. I don't see anything selected that would explain this, but obviously there's a billion selections that don't have a check box.  Please be specific with any solution tips, since I don't even know how to make the white whiter, or check other than looking at it.

I've had CS6 that I mainly use to edit videos and some photos. I bought it in 2012. Well computers come and go and my latest computer died and I tried to reinstall and couldn't. When I contacted help they said I maxed out the computers (2). Ok Well I barely use my laptop photoshop only to view radiology files that won't open so I "deactivated" like support stated. Then they told me the activation servers were retired and there was nothing they could do and tried to sell me the new Adobe products.Support literally told me to deactivate my products, and now I cannot use them. When I complained they offered to sell me new products.This seems VERY unethical. Any thoughts?

Help - I am unable to start LR calssic and PS 25 (was working normally 2 days ago), getting screen:"We can’t reach the Adobe servers. This may be because you’re not connected to the internet. When I was on PS2024 with windows 10 and I reloaded an old file the history and layers also loaded so I could modify the file. Since I've gone on to 2025 on windows 11 all I get is a snapshot. How to I get 2025 to load history?

I need a Photoshop action / script required for batch processing thousands of folders of images.   Images to be displayed on a website, all photos are live music photography, with a bit in studio and location. Files are either;  old films scans off neg, usually jpg, with a few tiff Digital files in RAW of DNG   Whatever the best looking size is for web use. 600 x 800 pixels, what ever the current web protocol is for web display.  I have a photoshop pro who can help with the settings here. The action - script  needs to process folders and sub folders.  All images are  on a 20 TB primary  drive. I've shot about 3500 bands on film and digital. In digital, some bands have been shot 10 or more times, plus the film scans from pre 2007. In these band folders there are sometimes jpg files already prepared for web. Hello,My system specs, Win 10  Photoshop version 26.2.0,  32 gig ram, Nvidea 1070 GTXti graphics card, i7 9700k CPU 3.6GHZ. While I have not used every function known in Photoshop,  In my usage so far, I only get the "Not Enough Ram" Error when using the Pixelate Crystallize filter.   I have tried increasing the ram allocation adding drives to the scratch drive setting.I'm trying this filter on a jpg I imported that is 4919 x 3519 pixels.Any help will be appreciated. 

Hi,I would like to know how to add crop marks to a file in Photoshop please for the convenience of the printers bleed cut.I realize you can add in the printer settings for my home printer but that's no use to an outsourced professional printing company.all the forums have instructions for In-Design, Illustrator, but not for Photoshop.There is also nothing in the Photoshop Reference pdf. Hi, I have a image of two astronauts toasting each other on the space station. I want to replace the cups they are using with my clients signature cookie cups for the toast. I have a product shot of my clients cup, and I've tried using the Beta version of Photoshop and Generative fill to replace the original cups, but it wont work. Also I need to match the lighting of the replaced cookie cup with the spaceship scenes lighting. As Im still a noob with Photoshop, can I not do this using Generative Fill AI? Its tricky cause I need the astronauts hands to wrap around the cup I place in the scene so it looks natural. Any suggestions, resources, tutorials or videos showing how I could accomplish this?

Hi there,I've got some problem regarding photoshop 2024 with my iMac 5K that i've recentely update to mac os Sonoma! While im working, the pointer ( No matter what tools i use ) it costantly glich between the normal arrow point and the tool that im using. At the beginnig, it had happen just a couple of time, but right now it always does! and its becoming very annoing! It never had happen before, all it started when i update my computer to mac os Sonoma.Theres someone that have the same trouble?      

In 2022 I was provided an ACB Writer tool from Adobe support that creates Color Book (.acb) files from properly-formatted .csv file. However, these Color Book files are only recognized by Illustrator and InDesign; Photoshop does not recognize them. I'm not sure if this is more about creating a more robust ACB Writer that creates .acb files that are usable across the board, or if it is a fix for Photoshop to be "less picky" about the .acb files that it will read.
