Solved

Good day, I am new to Photoshop. I am on PC, I am using 26.8.0 version of the program.  Let's say I have 10 layers in a document: 1 background and 9 rectangles, each with a different width and height. I want to set a specific width and height for the 9 rectangles at once. For example, I want all rectangles to be 200 x 200 px. I have tried selecting all of them and using Free Transform, or setting the desired width and height in the Properties panel while they are all selected, but it resizes them incorrectly (the chain is turned off)." Is there a way to do this? Before posting here, I ran a ChatGPT inquiry, but it gave me the wrong answer.

I see that Adobe metadata can be compared (where it makes sense).  For example, I can create a Smart Collection where the criterion is "Long Edge > 1000" or "Shutter speed < 1/1000". I am writing a pluging that creates custom metadata that is a number.  The only data types are string, enumeration, and url.  I would love to have a number type, but that is not in the cards.  If I have a string-type metadata field that represents a number, how can I get the comparison criterion such as is available with Shutter Speed?  Is it that Adobe has secret sauce for its own metadata?

What is the best way to change a licensed user's email address and preserve all docs etc under that user?

I decided to reinstall PSE14 after giving up the subscription based plan (Photography). The installation rejected my serial  number and said to contact customer support. Customer Support guy checked my records and says the product is no longer supported. I said I do not  need support. Why can't I use a product I purchased only 6 years ago. He advised me to upgrade. I just cancelled my plan as I seldom use it. I just need some basic photo editing.  I think this is totally dishonest of Adobe if it is a policy.  I've given my mobile number so their senior can call me. I'm not holding my breath. Totally disappointed.

I have tried several times to install photoshop on my MacBook Pro m2pro but it keeps saying error code 183? I have done several solutions online but none have work. Please help !?   {Moderate Note: Edited the thread title}

HiIf i use the blend tool to create a series of steps between two objects (simple example in the image attached below), is there any way to make the individual steps editable, or make them separate objects or shapes? Many thanks,Paul.

Hello,I’m experiencing an issue when trying to add an Excel file to Adobe Acrobat Pro using the “Combine Files into a Single PDF” function (and also when using “Create PDF from File”).Every time I try to add the Excel file, I receive an error saying that Acrobat cannot open the file and that I should check if I have read permissions. Here are the details:I can open and edit the Excel file in Microsoft Excel without any problems.I’ve tried:Closing Excel completely before adding the file.Running Acrobat Pro as Administrator.Moving the file to a simple local folder (e.g., C:\Temp\test.xlsx) with no special characters in the name.Confirming that the Adobe PDFMaker add-in is installed and active in Excel.Exporting the Excel file directly to PDF from Excel (which works). My Office and Acrobat versions are installed on the same PC.Despite all this, Acrobat still gives the same “cannot open the file, check read permissions” error.Could you please help me troubleshoot what might be causing

I make videos where I darken scenes using brightness and contrast to lower brightness, then have the scenes light back up, again, based on music using Sound Keys. The problem I run into a lot is that white does not darken the way everything else does by lowering brightness. I use hue / saturation at times to lower lightness but that usually leaves it looking a flat and unnatural gray. I know I can using masking and adjustment layers to lower exposure or other tricks, but I am looking for a way that will simply allow me to use an effect or plugin that will handle the white for me without masks or isolating all of the white elements in the scene.  I am less interested in realism than the need to have the white appear visually like all of the colors and react with brighness in a nearly identical way so that the viewers' eyes do not get drawn to the white areas due to a seeming contrast to how colors react when the dark to light shift happens with sound keys. Not s

How can I add a hyperlink in illustrator cc and export a pdf with that link? I have a CTA button that I would like to add a hyperlink to and then save as a pdf with the working hyperlink. Thanks!

I downloaded 1 TB of images using LrC. At the time I only owned 1 external SSD so I could not create a back up. I do wish to place a copy of all the images on another SSD, as a backup.I do not want to transfer the images from the current SSD that the images are stored on, but make a copy of the images onto a different SSD. I do want to be able to access and process the backup images using LrC, should I need to.How do I manage to achieve this using Lightoom Classic for the copying process? Your help, as always, is so very appreicated.

I’ve been paying ₩78,100 every month for my Adobe subscription, but yesterday I was suddenly charged ₩78,100 under the name “Adyen.” When I checked my Adobe account, it says the next billing date is the 18th. So, does that mean the charge from Adyen is not from Adobe? Please help me confirm.

A week or so ago I accidentally clicked a button to allow Indesign (or Adobe?) to automatically activate fonts that are missing from a document. I can't find where to turn this feature off.Cheers, Mike
