Solved

I have a trusted function to import a text file from a button.   It works fine when I specify the file path including a specific text file.  I am wanting to open to the file directory and let the user select from the .txt files in that folder.  If I don't include an actual file.txt name, nothing happens, the path to the directory with the text files does not open.  The code I'm trying to use with the button is: var thepath = getCurrentDirectory;myImportTextData(thepath); My trusted function code is: myImportTextData = app.trustedFunction(function(cPath){app.beginPriv();this.importTextData(cPath);app.endPriv();});

As title, do we have a usage metrics report where I can see who uses workspace/projects the most and what data they use the most?

I have a page with single foto's loaded and also containing one grid, I want to remove the grid from the page, does anybody know how to do that ?   backgroundin my example the picture of Djurre is part of a grid and the rest on the page are single photos.https://topeventshoots.myportfolio.com/2020-masterclass As you can see the captions are presented different in a grid versus a single photo, for that reason I want just single photos, but cannot figure out how to remove a grid.thanks Pieter

I'm probably way out of my league here, but here's what I need to happen:I have a fillable pdf with several checkboxes that would result in an amount being added to a total field (Ex: Full page ad / Exhibitor fee is $500 / Non exhibitor fee is $750), so the user selects two items (or none). If they check "Full page ad" checkbox, then they select whether or not they are an exhibitor, then the amount ($500) would go to the total field = $500. And several more optional add choices, etc.So, I guess my question(s) are:If a checkbox is selected, can a number populate in a separate field? And if so, how?I am a javascript beginner, have only completed the calculations that were simple.Many thanks in advance for help/advice.

I need help formatting the following scenario:  90 days from the date entered, if radio button DOB is selected.  I have the formula to do 90 days, but can't figure out the "If DOB is selected" var date = util.scand("mm/dd/yy", event.value);if(event.value == "")this.getField("90days").value = "";else {date.setDate(date.getDate() +90);this.getField("90days").value = util.printd("mm/dd/yy", date);}

Good morning! My links panel is showing a modified link, but without any page number. I try relinking and it doesn't work. I wish I could delete it but I can't even do that. Any advice on how to fix this?I am afraid it's damaging my file, because I have got an alert about a damaged file. Thanks!     <Title renamed by MOD>

Was tun?

When I clip a transparent image in Illustrator and export it (usually as a PDF), everything looks fine in Adobe Acrobat. But when I open the same file in Outlook, Microsoft Edge, or other web-based viewers, I see a gray background behind the clipped image. I understand that Acrobat has superior rendering capabilities, but clients often view PDFs in their default apps, so I need the file to look correct everywhere, not just in Acrobat. NOTE: It only happens with some of the images and not others. I remove the background from an image in Photoshop.I save it to my Creative Cloud Library.I place it into Illustrator from the CC Library.I apply a clipping mask to crop it.I export the file as a PDF or PNG. The only reliable fix I’ve found is to drop in a PNG of the transparent image directly into Illustrator instead of using the CC Library asset. This seems to preserve transparency better across all viewers.

Need Option to Disable the GenAI features like Firefly  & Adobe express, ..etc from Enterprise Creative cloud Admin Console.

Windows 11,  Elements Organizer 2024. When facial recognition doesn't tag a person, I use "Mark Face" , select the person's face and enter their name.  On a number of instances, Organizer creates a new Tag for that name, even though that name already appears in the Tags list.  Spellings are identical.  In another post "Duplicate Keywork Tags" the advice given is to select both (and in my case, sometimes three) duplicate tags by using the CTRL key.  Then right click and in the context menu use "Merge Keyword Tags".  No such choice exists.  There are three choices... "New search using selected tags", "Add to search", and "Apply to selected media". So, how do I merge duplicate tags?

I am trying to develop a graphic design scheme wherein the overlapping area of circles on the text changes its colour. I used 'hue' in the transparency blend mode. However, I'm seeing a peculiar behaviour by illustrator where it's only affecting the last vertical row of the circles even though all the circles have the same appearance. What is happening and how to solve it? Here's the file. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/brrkqbuqhlwrkk8zu4il7/PATTERNTEST.ai?rlkey=3adslb6w9p0eipe7vpixkc9xh&st=1e5o1j5j&dl=0 For some weird reason, illustrator files after getting attached gives this error and I am unable to share the file directly.

Using Sonoma OS. I want to be able to select the Brush tool, then hold down the option key and right click to set the brush size. Currently the feature does not work because holding down the option key while the brush tool is selected, changes the tool to the Eye droppper tool (same as holding i). How do I turn off this feature? I tried turning off Spring-loaded tool shortcuts but that does not affect the Option Key.

So, this issue is closed out in other places, but It clearly is not fixed.  I am getting a security alert every few minutes on my Win 10 machine.  If I kill Creative Cloud it goes away, but keeps coming back when it turns itself back on.  I need to use the suite (its how I make money), but I can do without the continuous stream of pop ups that remind me of the Web 20 years ago. Anyone with any insight???Please don't tell me its my machine.  Looking for real answers.... Thanks JKB

When using 'Export layers to files' I would realy like 'File Name Prefix' to be empty by defaut.Can anyone please tell me what to change in the script to have this box NOT containing the current file name by default? EDIT: My first post was not clear. Hello everyone, One of layers have Bevel & Emboss effect to apply metallic effect to shapes. Everything works great, but I miss click and press something instead Ctrl+Alt+E and now Photoshop is broken. This effect looks broken now with sharp edges, and when I merge layers it become brigher. I attached how this effect looks previously and now. The pixeled edge is where the effect ends and another solid layer under it.Color mode is the same 16bit and Srgb, no opacity, fill or blend mode changed. I tried to restart photoshop, open the document in older photoshop version, create a new document. And when I apply this effect it always looks ugly when zoom in and same after merging layers. Previously it looks perfect at laest after layer merge (I didn't zoom in  earlier). It was smooth in visual transition between layers but now very pixeleted. Very strange problem because it save even I restart a Photoshop or create same effect in new documentSo what bad buttons I pressed what brigh

That is how must to be working:https://youtu.be/yP2ODQ5j5r4 and hier is my problem:https://youtu.be/IZWl2llZ9Z0

When Create Outlines is invoked for a multiline text, the Grouping could be much better.Currently, when choosing to ungroup the result, every character becomes a separate object.How great would it be when Create Outlines makes a 4 level Group hierarchy this way: Text > Paragaphs > Lines > Words > Characters So 4x ungroup results in separate characters.3x gives separate words (separator = space), 2x gives separate lines (separator = return), 1x gives separate Paragraphs (empty line / double return = separator). Makes sense, doesn't it?
