Since updating a couple of weeks ago to Lightroom Desktop version 8.4 the Colour Mixer no longer works properly. Immediately after launching, as long as I do not use other editing, the Colour Mixer works fine. But when I start using other editing tools, the colour mixer stops working after a number of edits (particularly after using masks). All other editing tools work fine. Just not the Colour Mixer any more. The only solution I have found is to close down and restart Lightroom Desktop. However this is exceedingly time consuming as I have to restart Lightroom Desktop at least once, sometimes two or three times per photograph.Switching off the GPU acceleration seems to make no difference.I have not yet managed to find exactly what sequence / type of editing causes my Colour Mixer to stop working. Any ideas anybody? I am using a MacBook Pro with M1 Max, 64 GB memory and Sequioia 15.6.

Hi folks—I want to create an expression where a sound is triggered when X happens. Let's say, every time a null gets to a certain point, play from 0-4 seconds on an audio clip. I'm close, but having trouble with the last part. Here's what I have on the Time Remap keyframes for my audio track: countstart = 0;countend = 0;if (thisComp.layer("Null 9").transform.xPosition > 1080){countstart = time;countend = time+4;}linear(time,countstart, countend, 0,4); The problem is that time is re-defined on every frame. So instead of playing from the current time and just running, the "play from" time is always equal to the current time, and it never catches up. I think a solution would be: when the Null reaches X, have the Expression jot down the current time, but only once. Also, do this every time the null crosses X. But I'm stumped on how to do that. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,My CPU temperature easily rises to 95°C and then cools down again thanks to the fan. When I batch process 10, 20, or 40 photos, the same thing happens when exporting these photos to jpg files, and the process slows down considerably.Hardware acceleration is enabled in both Lightroom and Photoshop. I have the latest NVIDIA graphics driver 572.83, completely cleaned of all unnecessary items using NVCleanstall.I should also point out that I have an HP Omen PC with an i7 12700, and I know it's not as good in terms of cooling performance as a PC that has been rebuilt (my CPU fan is 92 mm, meh). But this problem is new, so is this the beginning of a technical problem for me, or is it a bug in Lightroom version 14.2? I would be very grateful to know if I'm alone in this situation or if others have already encountered this problem.Have a good evening and a good day everyone, and thank you for your feedback.

We are attempting to launch/open a .PDX file so that we are able to search PDF files with a large number of pages on a VDI desktop.  On a regular desktop, the user just double clicks on the .pdx file and it launches and they are able to search without issue.   On the VDI desktop when we double click on the .PDX file (or right click on the file and select "Open with Adobe Acrobat Reader") an install process is attempted (screenshot attached). It will eventually produce an error which is outlined below and also attached to this post.  The error says "Error 1406: Could not write value BrowseInPlace to key \Software\Classes\Acroexch.Document.DC. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support personnel."How is this accomplished on a Omnissa Horizon VDI desktop? Thank  you.Rachel

Will Lightroom Classic read the metadata that I have added to the jpegs of my jpeg+raw pairs of images?I don't own Lightroom yet. I shoot jpeg+raw. I have added keywords and star ratings to many of my jpegs. If I decide to get Lightroom Classic it would be nice if it would read this information from the jpegs and associate it with the raws.

Hello,Are you able to help?I am using Adobe FrameMaker 2022 and I am placing a SigmaPlot graph (v15) into a graphic frame in AF, when I place the graph, the lines are not smooth.  This graph was created originally back in 2011 and the curve was smooth in my previous version of AF a few years ago. I had to make a minor update to the graph and I keep it in the relevant version of SigmaPlot,  Do you know why the curve do not show smooth in AF2022 package please.  Is there a setting I need to add or untick in AF2022? Thank you for your help in advance. Above is previous version.Curve now showing not smooth

Hello, basically I have Account #1 on "shard" na3, this account has the Adobe Acrobat Pro license and is being used to send signatures. Then I have Account #2 on "shard" na4, this account is a Adobe Sign Developer Account. I want to send a HTTP requests to my Application ID on Account #2 to send signatures. Hey everyone, I’m not sure if this is just me, but I’ve noticed something odd when using Adobe Firefly alongside Spotify. Whenever I’m working on image generations or more complex prompts in Firefly, my Spotify playback sometimes stutters, slows down, or briefly drops in quality. Once Firefly finishes processing, the music goes back to normal. My internet connection is stable, and this doesn’t happen when I’m browsing or using other creative tools — it seems specific to when Firefly is actively generating something. I’m wondering if it’s a resource or bandwidth conflict, or maybe something in the browser that’s affecting both apps at once. I came across a related discussion here on Adobe Community: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-firefly-discussions/how-can-i-use-spotify-music-in-adobe-firefly-for-my-creative-projects/m-p/15201543 — but it doesn’t address the stuttering issue specifically. Has anyone else run into this? Are there browser settings, system tweaks

How do I remove the "Approved" stamp from the stamp favorites list?  I right-clicked on it, selected remove but it is still there and the option to remove is now gone. I'd like to make a different stamp my default stamp, which I also added to the favorites list, but it keeps making the "Approved" stamp the default.

I bought LR5 in 2015 for my Mac with High Sierra OS. I have a new Mac with Sequoia OS but LR5 cannot be migrated to the new Mac. I am told by Adobe the new operating system is incompatible. My question is 1. How do I use LR5 on my new Mac - which may be unfeasible and 2. How do I salvage my work on my old Mac? Can I upgrade to the newest version of LR and how do I import my work from my old Mac? Thanks.

When creating an interactive form,  Is there a way to change the Image Field properties from upload  to "drag and drop"?  Right now the user can only upload an image by clicking on the image form icon.

I'm using importTextData() to import a text file that has a lot of columns or fields on each record.  When the imported data is displayed there are so many colums dispayed the user has to click on and widen the column to see the data.Is there a way to set the column width?

Hi guys,  I was charged ~430$ for "buying Adobe" from visa card 3 days ago, though I don't buy it and I don't share my payment method to anyone. Despite the truth that I was hacked, I must pay for this charging but it's really upset. I'm waiting for reply of my bank teller but it seems no hope. Is there any solution so that I can reach to Adobe Support team for further help? I'll be appreciate for your relpy, thanks all and hve a good day!

Hi! I set up my new computer a few days ago, but every time I start Adobe CC, I need to log in again. It tells me, I've reached the device activation limit and it only can be activated on 2 devices simultaneously, so I need to sign out from one of the three which are displayed. Fact is, it's only activated on 2 devices (my old pc and the new one), but somehow it doesn't remember the new one and adds a third ("this device")!?? When I'm signing out from the new pc (middle one in the screenshot below), it seems to work till the next restart of the computer. Can somebody explain to me what happens here and how to fix it? It's really annoying to login everytime. I did already reinstall Adobe CC with the deinstaller-tool (https://helpx.adobe.com/at/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html). Didn't do the trick. Thanks for help!

Hi guys, in my effect plugin, I add an arbitrary parameter which value is a string, now I add this effect to an image layer, I want to get the string value through extend script, the value type I found is CUSTOM_VALUE, and I failed with get it through property.value directly, how to achieve this in jsx script?

I’m beyond frustrated. This bug has existed for months, and it’s STILL not fixed. Here’s the issue:In the Source Monitor, when I set In and Out points on an audio clip, they do NOT show up visually on the waveform. The lower bar (time ruler) shows the In/Out points correctly. But the waveform itself — which used to highlight the selected area — shows NOTHING.However, if I reopen an older clip that already had In/Out points saved before, the highlighted area DOES appear. What does that mean? The In/Out points ARE being set, but the waveform UI refuses to update. This is clearly a visual bug with the overlay layer, not a shortcut or user issue.I’ve tried literally everything:GPU renderer → software-only modeReinstalled PremiereReset preferencesDeleted media cacheUsed WAV instead of MP3Updated NVIDIA Studio driverUsed NVIDIA Control Panel to force Premiere to use the dedicated GPUEven created a new Windows user accountDowngraded from Premiere 2025 to 2024Tested on Premiere BetaNothing worked.Yet

Adobe ExtendScript Debugger is written for intel chips.Visual Studio Code offers installs for Apple Silicon, Intel, and Universal.ExtendScript Debugger only works on the Intel and Universal versions of Visual Studio Code.In the last couple of months the Intel and Universal builds of Visual Studo Code have become PAINFULLY slow when running on Apple Silicon and using Rosetta. 35 seconds to open a file, and 10 second lag between typing and seeing what you typed. In the Visual Studio Code extensions browser, when you search for ExtendScript there is the Official Adobe version and another by a developer named "Ole Henrik Stabell". https://github.com/Hennamann/ExtendScript-for-Visual-Studio-Code https://exchange.adobe.com/publisher/cc/b4770ebd-df60-11e9-b101-0e91bb176a46/ole-henrik-stabell?page=1 Has anyone used the Ole Henrik Stabell verson on Apple Silicon Macs? Does it work (mostly) the same as the official one? Is there any hope of Adobe ever getting with the program and s
