Solved

Greetings! In the latest Adobe Illustrator update, a new feature was added: Recent Colors.Couldn't this feature be optional? That is, couldn't it be turned on or off through the Swatches palette menu?I'll leave two other suggestions that I consider important:1. A keyboard shortcut for the Swatches palette. I've been using Illustrator for decades and have always missed this shortcut. How useful it would be! (It could be a variation of the Colors shortcut, for example, Option/Alt + F6)2. A shortcut for Group Selection (white arrow +). I often edit vectors with this tool, much more than with Direct Selection (white arrow, shortcut A). It could also be a variation of the Direct Selection shortcut, for example, Command/Ctrl + Option/Alt + A.

Does anyone have any solutions to install a legacy product on a new computer.  Specifically this is Adobe Crewative Suite 5.5 which i purchased in 2013.  I have the product key for it.  My old computer died, and I cannot install on my new one.  It tells me it is installed on 2 computers, and i must deactivate from the old ones, which i did, but still doesnt work.  I called support and was told there is no support for a legacy product and to post here.  TIA

Please HELPP!! Images are being automatically embedded regardless of having "Include Linked Files" checked during save operations. This occurs consistently across all documents. Place image using File > Place with "Link" option checkedSave document with "Include Linked Files" enabledClose and reopen documentCheck Links panel - images show as embedded despite original link settings I've tried troubleshooting:1. Relinked images multiple times through Links panel2. Restarted Adobe Illustrator application3. Rebooted entire system4. Saved documents with different filenames5. Verified original image files remain in original locations with unchanged filenames I've attached a screenshot of file handling settings. Operating System: macOS Sequoia 15.2Hardware: iMac 27-inch 2020Processor: 3.8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB

Hi, I placed three pins on a monkey tail.  I clicked on one pin and moved it up, I then want to rotate thispin.  It's not giving me the rotation symbol to do so.  What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Sue

The new Hands-on Tutorial Creator in v20.5 requires you to select an Animate preferences file (.anp).However, it's impossible to create such a file. The menu itemAnimate > Preferences... > Export Preferences always returns this error:"Unable to export the settings to the specified location."Actually, to any location at all. Moreover, a search on my Mac shows no file exists with that extension .anp.Where do I locate my preferences file, and how do I export/import one? Thanks.

I've been using Adobe Sign for a while now and this is a first.  I have a one page document I want to make a template.  When I add the signature spots, dates and printed names and then send...what the recipients receive is a TWO page document with the second page being a blank page except for a signature and an email field that I did not put in the template.  All other fields are correct and in place.  I've flattened the PDF and added the fields within Adobe Sign.  I've added the fields within Acrobat and then uploaded to Adobe Sign.  I've tried everything I know what to do.  Can someone help?

I have a new Laptop running Windows 11. My old was Windows 10. I can't get my new LRC to present my pix  or thumbnails from my previous catalog. The library screen populates with 270 blank thumbnails showing the edits symbols for those pix but no images. If I want a particular image who's name is evidient on the blank thubnail, I need to import it individually. How do I organize the files to populate the images?

I have this image rejected due various issues but notthing specific. I'm thinking the problem could be the shallow depth of field which is created on purpose. I'm just starting to upload lots of images here and I want to get the right food content. Thanks

I'm trying to create something like the below for all the titles and possibly subtitles in a book. There is no way I'm aware of to do this using a paragraph style. At the moment I think my best bet would be to create all the titles in illustrator or photoshop and export them as pngs, then anchor them into the text boxes - especially as the line under the title text would need to be an anchored object too. Checking if anyone has a better, easier to edit way to do this? Maybe there is some crazy script out there that someone knows about or something. Or just a different way of going about it than the only one I can think of.   Thanks!

I have a folder containing over 800 PDFs with identical specifications. When I inspect their layers in Illustrator, they're composed of two compound paths and a single path. I just need to open each file, delete the topmost compound path, save it, move on to the next, then rinse-and-repeat. Is there an action, or a set of actions, I could use to accomplish this automatically?

Some photos in my Lightroom catalog have been moved, so Lightroom can no longer find them.  Such photos are marked "!" by Lightroom, but Lightroom does not appear to allow me to search for them and mark them for removal from the catalog.  Marking each such item manually is exceedingly laborious.  What am I missing?  Is there a means of searching for and marking such items?

I am new to after effects and am looking for a way to make the row of vehicles loop continuously almost like a seamless pattern not sure how to go about this? Theres about 8 vehciles and I've masked a precomp with them animated insideThis is inside the precomp I found a tutorial to animate them on a path and created keyframes with a Null object but I don't know how to loop it with the car in the beginning so theres not a big gap at the end when the cycles finished

I am creating an action where I am using a menu command, I have added the distort and transform effect from the effect menu. Although this is added, but I am unable to pre-define a set of values here. Right now, It is just getting added. How to achieve that?

I just updated my CC apps such as Ps, Ai, Id, etc. All seem fine with the exception of the current Id file on which I'm working that won't open. Other Id files open but not this one. It's some 87 MBs but I'm able to open other ones as large or larger.I had quit the app before updating. I have also since restarted my Mac.Any insights would be much appreciated.

I started a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud on July 22, 2025, which was set to end on July 28, 2025. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel on time, and I was charged AED 230 on July 29, 2025.I immediately cancelled the subscription the same day (July 29), well within Adobe’s 14-day refund policy. I also received a credit memo for AED 223 from Adobe on July 29 confirming the cancellation and refund. However, I have still not received the refund to my account. Could someone please help me with this issue or guide me on how to escalate it? any contact number or mail for UAE Region? Thank you.

I would love to see a feature in Photoshop where you can input a list of dimensions to build multiple artboards within one file at one time, perhaps at the file creation screen. I have seen scripts where you can pull a list of dimensions from a CSV or TXT file into Illustrator, and tried to create a similar one for Photoshop. I have quickly learned that apparently Photoshop is not built in a way to be able to run such a script. So frustrating! Please! I work in a digital landscape where I could be building 30+ digital specs for one campaign and burn so much time building artboards. Even just the capability for Photoshop to handle a script like that would be tremendous.

I'm running CS6 on a Windows 8 machine, laptop.Today I noticed that my art boards no longer duplicate contents when I alt-click-drag. It was working fine yesterday so not entirely sure whats going on.It will duplicate the contents if I use the art board toolbar to duplicate the board, but if I just use the keyboard shortcut it just moved an empty art board. Nothing is locked down either. Any ideas??

Hello Adobe Stock Team,First of all, thank you for the CSV + FTP upload feature — it works great and saves me a lot of time. However, there are still two steps I need to complete manually after uploading:Selecting whether the image was AI-generated (which I can apply to all 100 selected images in one view — so that part is quick). (3 clicks per 100 image is fine 🙂  Selecting for each image whether it is a photo or an illustration.Since I can already determine and prepare this classification for each image in advance, it would be very helpful if both of these fields could be set directly via the CSV file, just like other metadata. Are there any plans to make these two fields configurable in the CSV upload process? Thanks in advance for any insights! Best regards,Vilius

I've only noticed this since updating to LrC v12, but I'm getting regular "Waiting for Settings" messages with photos in LR Mobile (iOS version) on photos which I've edited on LrC. Attached screenshots show the message. The only option is to keep waiting or overwrite all the edits that have been done. The screenshots were from 11/10 and some of them say that the edits were done in late October so almost two weeks and, for some reason, they have not sync'd over to LR mobile from LrC. I have even done a Rebuild Sync Data on LrC recently and it fixed the issue for some photos but not others. If the data hasn't sync'd in almost 2 weeks, unclear if it will ever do so and why on earth it would take this long to sync the information. Unless v12 broke something that needs fixing, I assume there is a way to make this stop happening so that small amount of edit data are sync'd quickly as I've never encountered this issue in the past roughtly 4 years of using LR mobile until updating to v12.

Você poderia me ajudar?

HiIs there a live measurement tool in Illustrator 2022? Where the dimensions are updated by moving the polygon points? It can be a script or a plugin, but it must be free.Thank you.

I have created a form, which is nearly complete. The only thing I have left, that I'm not sure how to do is this: If the selection in the [Program] dropdown box is "Biology",then the field [Address] should be "303 McKinley Hall",field [Phone] should be "(800) 238-4732", andfield [Email] should be "Biology@itsu.edu". I can't seem to get the code right to automatically populate the Address, Phone, and Email fields based on the option chosen in [Program]. I'm probably over looking something very simple.
