In dev. module I'm, applying some changes to a photo (for example lights, contrast etc.). When I want to save these changes as a preset (clicking the plus sign top left) LR freezes. I'm using Win 11 and LR Classic 14.4. Any idea what could be the cause?   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

At work, we have a Production where, every time I open a project within it, the Preview Area shows up, taking up a bunch of real estate at the top of the project panel. I have "Preview Area" (toggle) mapped as a keyboard shortcut, but I'd love for the Preview Area to stop showing up unless I want it to.At the same time, since this is a Production at work that many people are working in, I don't want to do this for everyone working in the Production - just me.Is there a setting to make the Preview Area stop showing up unless I want it to?

The Media Encoder is crashing consistently whilst trying to export a project to MP4 video format. I had the project at around 15GB for export but crashed consistently .It didnt like a Warp Stabilizer preset so deleted that from the project. No go still crashed. So then I cut the project in half Part 1 and Part 2 as speparate projects. Tried part 1 at 7.42 GB with 6 sequences for a total duration of around 31 minutes, crashed at 3mins 58 sec into encoding roughly about 2/3 the way complete. It also causes the AMD Graphic to crash as well . I have had soo much drama with this lately and at the point of looking for some other editing program as this is so frustrating.Since posting I have tried to further reduce the size to see if that helps. There were so many issues I have had  to walk away but will attach these Log Reports if anyone can identify the issues

When I open Photoshop today, my files aren't opening when I double click on them in the Recent list.  Nor do they open if I right click on them in File Explorer and choose Open with Photoshop.  Not sure what is happening here.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Uncertain if this a question or feature request.   Basically I have this problem with alt+scroll: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/how-can-i-stop-the-alt-key-from-activating-the-application-bar-windows-11/td-p/14426715 https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/zoom-using-alt-scroll-wheel/m-p/10495434   Whenever I use the alt key with scroll to zoom, the top menu becomes underlined. That's a built in windows fetaure from the days before mice. The difficulty is, if I then press V for Selection, it instead opens the View menu. I have to be careful to hit escape after zooming this way, which is inconvenient.   However. I notice this does not happen in Illustrator or Photoshop. In those the menu underlining occurs only whilst the alt+scroll keys are down, it ends immediately on key-up. If I tap the alt key on its own the underlining persists, which is fine and I think the expected behaviour. Although in some software (Acrobat) alt doesn't underlin

I heard that Blackbox.global for videos (like Wirestock for photos) distributes to many agencies including Adobe Stock, Pond5, Shutterstock, Storyblocks, etc. Is using an intermediary like Blackbox.global or Wirestock a more reliable way to distribute content to platforms like Adobe Stock specifically to mitigate the risk of direct account bans, particularly those reported by contributors after requesting payouts? My understanding is that by acting as an intermediary, they might absorb or pool potential issues, thus protecting individual contributor accounts from being directly deactivated on the larger platforms.

I have searched everywhere for a fix, but I can't find anyone else who has ever had this problem. I have tried every fix that I can find for problems even remotely similar, such as deleting the cache, reinstalling, resetting, restarting the entire project, replacing the problem clips, and so forth. Nothing has worked.  I am trying to edit some audio for a podcast, and when I first started the project, all 6 lines of individual audio worked fine. It wasn't until I finally finished editing the 3 and a half hours worth of audio that it started having problems. Randomly, the audio files started grabbing different parts from other sections of the project. For example, my A1 audio track is completely jumbled to the point where it's randomly pulling audio from that same track from different points in the project, then just throwing them wherever it wants. It's doing this for all tracks. I accepted that the project had to have corrupted itself somehow after spending 7

I just want to use the classic tween when it disappeared! but its everywhere else EXCEPT here? yes its a symbol

I don’t know why, but every time I use the Rectangle Marquee Tool in Photoshop, the corners appear rounded instead of sharp. It’s caused me a lot of problems — I just want to create a simple frame around an image with straight edges. I’ve already tried all the suggested solutions I could find, but nothing worked. Any idea what might be causing this?

I'm using Photoshop (Beta) and have used neural filters many time, but for some reason now it is greyed out. I've google for solutions, but can't find anything that works. I've updated everything and I'm signed in. I use a Mac with Sonoma 14.3.1. Any idea on the issue?

Me equivoqué en cancelar el plan, todavía falta para que se acabe el plan pero no quiero cancelarlo, lo quiero mantener. Ayuda.

I am trying to create a circle with 360 lines an equal distance apart. The Distribute Spacing does not seem to work. Is there a template that already does this. The objective is to use to determine the degree of ofsetting an object on a tilted axis. Thank you.

It seems that exceeding the geometricBounds has no effect.I tested this:var sel = app.documents[0].selection; var pb = sel[j].parentPage.bounds; sel[j].geometricBounds = [-10, -10, pb[2], pb[3]]and found it to be very wrong.

Hello, I received a strange letter to my work email from Julia from adobe work account, that I’ve been selected by creative community fund to receive $ 10 k. And I want to be aware that it is not a scam.

Prompt: getCn ,GetCsp is undefinedThe dialog box has been bothering me.Can this mm be entered like this? How can I make the value in this dialog box be mm? Thank you very much.var getCn, getCsp; makeDialog(); alert("columns:" + getCn) alert("spacing:" + getCsp) function makeDialog() { var theDialog = app.dialogs.add({ name: "Column number and spacing settings", canCancel: true, minHeight: 600, minWidth: 400, }); with (theDialog.dialogColumns.add()) { staticTexts.add({ staticLabel: "number of columns:" }); staticTexts.add({ staticLabel: "spacing:" }); } with (theDialog.dialogColumns.add()) { var getCn = textEditboxes.add({ editContents: "4" }); var getCsp = textEditboxes.add({ editContents: "6mm" }); } if (theDialog.show() == true) { //dialog results preset and page range getCn = getCn.editContents.split(','); getCsp = getCsp.editContents.split(','); theDialog.destroy(); } }

I have two Lightroom Classic catalogs, A and B.For a long time, I synchronized catalog A with the Lightroom Cloud. Then I entered the cloud synchronization credentials for catalog B as well, because I didn't know I was only allowed to synchronize one catalog. Now, every time I start catalog B, I get a message saying I'm only allowed to synchronize with one catalog and a question asking if I want to synchronize catalog B. The options are "Cancel" or "Yes, synchronize this catalog instead."I want to continue synchronizing catalog A and not synchronize catalog B. "Cancel" isn't final, though. I get a message again the next time I start it. How can I prevent this? I was able to enter the credentials in the Lightroom synchronization settings, but there's no way to remove them.   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
