Is there a way I can adjust the spacing between the text and the para shading style for ebooks? Example below, I want it to be close to the print version but the ebook removes all spacing even after I try offsetting the shading.

Hi there,an issue that's really annoying and bothers me a lot: Due to a new system setup I reinstalled Adobe Premiere and now I'm no longer able to import AVI files anymore. These files contain screen recordings. This also means a loss of already done work for me. (Installed v13, didn't work, installed v12 and v11, but doesn't work either with the older versions.) I found older threads, but they were a few months old.Is there any solution yet? - If you need more info, please let me know.Thanks

I updated PSE for Mac through Adobe and installed the app. Now, I just noticed that it does not appear in my list of products in my Adobe acccount. I can't go back and register it now, because I don't know and can't find the serial number. Is there any way now to register the product?

Hello!Is it possible to connect UXP DevTools to PrPro 25.3.0 or only to the beta version? If it is possible, how can I solve the problem of not seeing anything in DevTools?

Hey,so After Effects is not performing very well on my PC. Sometimes its so bad that my PC Frezzes and i have to power reset it. I ran some checks and the Problem is that when After Effects is open my VRAM Usage Jumps from 300 mb in use to 7,8 GB in use. I check and it looks like After Effects is using almost all of my VRAM on my GPU. That causes the System to Frezze. PC SpecsCPU : Ryzen 7 2700x AIO : Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX 360MM GPU : RTX 3070 Gaming OC RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB 3200MHz Here are to Screenshots of the Problem Without After Effts I dont know why After Effects does that and it only happens when i render the Project with my GPU, the second problem it that it doesnt even peform good. When i render with the Software encoder its smoother then with my GPU. Sometimes even effects dont render with my GPU and i had a problem with a Project where i coudnt render it using my GPU because it Media encoder either failed or got stuck at a Fra

Hi, I need help recovering my Lightroom Classic edits. Here’s everything that happened: I was originally using Lightroom Classic with everything stored on an external SSD (Extreme Pro) — including both my RAW images and my Lightroom catalog. I wanted to move my entire workflow to my Mac’s internal drive, so I wouldn’t be dependent on the SSD. So I created a new folder on my Mac called “Hana Thailand Pics” and copied everything into it. This folder now contains: FOR HANA — my main edited photosLIKE (not EDIT) — unedited photos I moved over manuallycatalog — the Lightroom catalog folder I copied from the SSD (which contains .lrcat and preview files)  I then opened that .lrcat catalog from the “catalog” folder on my Mac, thinking that was the correct catalog. Once inside Lightroom, I moved all the photos from LIKE (not EDIT) into FOR HANA manually using Finder. Then, in Lightroom, I deleted the LIKE (not EDIT) folder to reduce clutter. After that, we cli

I recently upgraded my OS and then updated to latest versions of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Now the clone stamp always shows black or some weird really dark variation or negative of the colour I'm cloning every single time. I've searched Google and Youtube for terms like 'clone tool always black/dark/negative' etc but finding zero results. It's the 2021 version on PS and no further updates are available. Am I really the only person on Earth having this issue? It's really screwed with my work flow and put me under pressure as I shoot real estate and typically use this tool on every job.  I've checked all the settings I can think of such as brush settings. I really hope somebody can help - maybe even Adobe! Cheers

I'm seeing a strange issue where I try to draw a layer mask with the pen tool, and instead of adding a path point where my mouse is, the new point is on top of the first one, and it's given handles that reach where the mouse is.  I have a layer selected, I definitely know how to use the pen tool, and I can create shape layers just fine. The issue is drawing a mask on an image layer.  I can use the polygon tool and make a square, and add and move points, to get the desired mask but that's just an awful solution.  This problem has occurred over many projects, and I've restarted my computer and the application several times.  I just updated AE as well.I have no idea why it's acting crazy or really even what's happening and would LOVE some assistance.(the cursor wasn't captured but it was above the first letter on the right, where the handle is)

Most of the art work hand and finger gets really messed up with 6 fingers and odd shaped hands which should be pretty straight forward given the quality of other parts of the picture

I have my colour workflow set to Rec.709 Gamma 2.4 accross the board. So Photoshop, AE, Premiere are all set to the same profile. Everything looks fine in Adobe's apps. I can play the files back in Premiere and as long as I have the Lumetri Colour viewer gamma option set to Gamma 2.4, they look fine. Same in AE, they look fine. When I view the files in various media players and on YouTube, the brightness is shifting. What is the best approach here? Should I be rendering a final version out with a gamma shift for uploading to YouTube? Would this be done by setting an output profile to sRGB Gamma 2.1 in the render module? I've seen people using a weird QuickTime Gamma LUT too. What a headache! I just want to upload videos to YouTube and have them look the same as what I can see in Creative Suite. I'm not overly technical so I'm just after some simple, practical advice. Thank you!

Good day, I am new to Photoshop. I am on PC, I am using 26.8.0 version of the program.  Let's say I have 10 layers in a document: 1 background and 9 rectangles, each with a different width and height. I want to set a specific width and height for the 9 rectangles at once. For example, I want all rectangles to be 200 x 200 px. I have tried selecting all of them and using Free Transform, or setting the desired width and height in the Properties panel while they are all selected, but it resizes them incorrectly (the chain is turned off)." Is there a way to do this? Before posting here, I ran a ChatGPT inquiry, but it gave me the wrong answer.

I see that Adobe metadata can be compared (where it makes sense).  For example, I can create a Smart Collection where the criterion is "Long Edge > 1000" or "Shutter speed < 1/1000". I am writing a pluging that creates custom metadata that is a number.  The only data types are string, enumeration, and url.  I would love to have a number type, but that is not in the cards.  If I have a string-type metadata field that represents a number, how can I get the comparison criterion such as is available with Shutter Speed?  Is it that Adobe has secret sauce for its own metadata?

What is the best way to change a licensed user's email address and preserve all docs etc under that user?

I decided to reinstall PSE14 after giving up the subscription based plan (Photography). The installation rejected my serial  number and said to contact customer support. Customer Support guy checked my records and says the product is no longer supported. I said I do not  need support. Why can't I use a product I purchased only 6 years ago. He advised me to upgrade. I just cancelled my plan as I seldom use it. I just need some basic photo editing.  I think this is totally dishonest of Adobe if it is a policy.  I've given my mobile number so their senior can call me. I'm not holding my breath. Totally disappointed.

I have tried several times to install photoshop on my MacBook Pro m2pro but it keeps saying error code 183? I have done several solutions online but none have work. Please help !?   {Moderate Note: Edited the thread title}

 Hello,I’m experiencing an issue when trying to add an Excel file to Adobe Acrobat Pro using the “Combine Files into a Single PDF” function (and also when using “Create PDF from File”).Every time I try to add the Excel file, I receive an error saying that Acrobat cannot open the file and that I should check if I have read permissions.Here are the details:I can open and edit the Excel file in Microsoft Excel without any problems.I’ve tried:Closing Excel completely before adding the file.Running Acrobat Pro as Administrator.Moving the file to a simple local folder (e.g., C:\Temp\test.xlsx) with no special characters in the name.Confirming that the Adobe PDFMaker add-in is installed and active in Excel.Exporting the Excel file directly to PDF from Excel (which works).My Office and Acrobat versions are installed on the same PC.Despite all this, Acrobat still gives the same “cannot open the file, check read permissions” error.Could you please help me troubleshoot what might be causing
