Solved

Dear Adobe Team, We are writing to express our concern regarding an issue we are facing with our Adobe licenses. As a long-standing customer of Adobe, we are disappointed to find that there is no solution available for merging our two existing VIP numbers. Due to this limitation, we are experiencing difficulties in using Adobe Illustrator effectively across our systems. Since Adobe does not offer a resolution for this problem, we would like to proceed with the following: Cancel all licenses under VIP number  Issue a full refund for these cancellations. We will then place a fresh order for the required licenses under our other existing VIP number [   ]. Please confirm the process and timeline for cancellation and refund. We request your cooperation in resolving this matter at the earliest, given the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your attention. I'm using the latest Photoshop update (automatic update) on Windows 11.  Recently, I've encountered a situation where each time I close and then reopen Photoshop, I have to do a Window>Workspace>Reset Essentials maneuver.   Because I use the basic workspace configuration, it's just a minor annoyance.  Still, it would be nice to not have to do that.  Does anyone know why this happens or how to prevent it?

Why do my blank and white documents result in greyed out PDF's?

edit: This issue is resolved. How I resolved it is in my next post. Thank you everyone for your quick and informative responses! I haven't edited a video in 2 weeks. Now when I try to use the Dip to Black transition effect on a clip to fade to black - the effect fades to black for half the transition, then fade out of black in the second half. I'm not putting half the transition on one video clip, and the other half on the other. It's supposed to end at the one clip. I can extend the clip to the end of the entire video and it works properly. Then move it back and it does it again. It doesn't matter when or where this effect is added. It only operates based on whether or not a video clip is next. I've attached an image showing this. None of the previous Dip to Black fixes work on this issue, which is why I'm posting this new possible bug. You can't even go to Effects Controls, and change the Alignment. It already says End at Cut, but it's ghosted out. Additionally, there's no

My other thread was locked.   The source file creator of my novel (and life's work) has ghosted me, but I do have the source file.  Problem is, I don't know how to use Adobe, and importing/exporting it just creates a huge mess.  The fonts change, the designs disappear and the occasional intentional spacing between paragraphs has large "F" in their place.   My question is, I have consulted an Adobe expert who claims to be able to see it as it is in print.  This contradicts some comments in my previous thread that only the creator will have access to certain this.  The instructor also claims to be able to teach me everything I need to know in 40 mins.    Can someone advise me here?      <Title renamed by MOD>

I'm getting these  "after effects warning: Error reading past end of file" while rotoscoping. There doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. As a result this part of my file wont render/export in premiere. I check the file in After effect and I dont see any reason to be getting the error. I even went as far as replacing the clip footage with the same footage and I still get that error.

Hello,my computer lost it's battery during the night yesterday, and when I went back onto Illustrator after recharging my computer to draw, the calligraphy pen tool that I was using did not respond to any pressure from my drawing pen, and it would only create a line of just one thickness, just like in that 5pt. or 15pt. pen default mode. I restarted my Wacom pad, and also tried the calligraphic pen tool in Photoshop, which worked by the way, but still did not work on Illustrator. I have also tried opening and closing the file again. I am working on a time sensitive project, and it's really frustrating that this issue is happening to me now.I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

Adobe files section say 4GB used but I can't find any files there (other than 2 which are nowhere near 4GB), have checked the other tabs on the left of the screen (Shared with you, projects, etc) but no joy.  Does anybody know where these 4GB of files are actually stored please?

Hi, everyone, Could you see my attached video? I just can't move my cursor off the screen to change the parameters in the properties panel. Any solution without moving the premiere window to left?

I copy image as a LF layer and blur it .  then convert the doc to 32 bit    ( if I have any alpha I apply gamma 0.45454 to any alpha channel )      Then I set subtract blending mode to LF layer  and  get looking almost black  HF image  with most pixels negative .    With add blending mode on top of  same blurred original they do  perfectly frequency separated pair.  But how could I brinng it back to 16 bit integer  mode ?     I need to lift that mostly negative  HiFreq  layer to be around 0,5 right?   So I add 0,5 flat color layer  with add blending  but when I convert the doc back to 16 bit mode the gamma changes  and what was 0,5  is brighter now .  I do gamma 0,454545  to fix it.    Now  I believe   this HiFreq layer should work  on top of blurred original  being blended as LInear Light, right?

Hi, So Adobe Acrobat Reader just updated for me. I appreciate the updates, and Adobe's reader is the best PDF reader out there. But I have a feature request. Please allow me, in the Preferences editor, to tell Acrobat Reader to stop re-installing and re-enabling plugins in other software packages (such as Chrome, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) that I never asked for and have switched off (I switched them off, of course, because I don't want them!). I have attached a pretty rough sketch (I'm no graphic artist) of what it could possibly look like. I would be deeply grateful if Adobe could accommodate this request.

Where is the Random Style Suggestions Wheel Generator of Adobe Spark? Has anyone found something similar. It really was worth paying for Adobe Spark. Adobe Express? Not so much.

I use lr classic to import photos from full frame cameras as well as my smartphone.  The smartphone shoots at 4:3 by default. I prefer 3:2 like a normal camera.  Unfortunately lr does not support saving cropping as a preset so every import I must crop one photo, select them all from that import batch, then sync that crop. So annoying.  Why can't I save a crop ratio to a preset?

I have a four chapter book (about 80 pages) and every time I try to sync styles InDesign crashes. It worked fine yesterday, but today I made some changes and now every time I click the sync button in the book menu (Synchronize styles and swatches with the Style Source); instant crash. I've tried with all the chapters open and saved, only the style source open, restarted, deleted and re-added the chapters, etc. Thoughts?

So I know this has been asked before but I have tried all the fixes and none of them has worked. I have tried .csv and .txt tab dilimeated. I have tried removing extra lines or columns. I have 14 columns in my excel file, is this too many? Is there a limit to how many fields you can have? Please help!

To provide some context, I've been attempting to recreate an action using the new A.I. masking feature inside Camera Raw (ACR). I've reached a point where everything works, except for one issue: the masks don't update based on the specific photo being edited. This is similar to Lightroom, where you can apply a preset across multiple photos and the A.I. adjusts the mask according to each photo. When I apply the action to a new photo (not the one I used to create the action), it works flawlessly, except that the ACR masks still use the A.I. mask from the original image I used to create the action.

I've created 5 AI images by using Leonardo AI free token and do upscaling by a free website and ChatGPT. 2 images are rejected due to quality issues. Please advise may I didn't use Leonardo AI free token and need to use paid AI software or Upscaling software.
