Solved

Hi,In the past days I tried to clean up my PC with Windows 11 a bit by installing the latest Windows updates, update a few drivers and remove some unused programs. By an large this was a success, everything is running a bit faster and smoother than before.Apart from Lightroom that is. My LR startup now takes a minute, with the UI controls coming up quite slowly. Once it is started I can use LR relatively normal, though still there is sometimes flickering of the shown photo.Attached is a video of the startup. The display adapter is a NVIDA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, and I tried both the latest Gaming and Studio drivers from NVIDIA, the problem is the same with both. Also I tried to reinstall Lightroom, but the problem stayed.Last thing I tried is start Lightroom with an empty catalogue, but again, the problem stayed.Does anyone has an idea what else could be causing this? Thanks for your help!

I am encountering an annoying problem with InDesign lately. I have SAVE AS my document and when reopened, even after a PC restart (Win 11), the document is filled with random characters in text, bullets, tables, hyperlinks. Original documents from WORD 365 for Win not linked to ID but pasted. This happens when working from home on a connected (not wi-fi) network and in the office.  Example below:Is there a workaround besides having to restart the laptop again and again? Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Hi there,  The SHARE button in InDesign has a history of not working for me. I am running it on a MacBook Pro with macOS Ventura 13.4.1. I'm on Adobe Creative Cloud 5.11.0.522.1. The usual issues I have after clicking on the share button include the wheel spinning and the window never loading, or after clicking the update link button, the wheel spins continuously with no advance. Usually, after a restart or 2, I can get the window back up and running properly. This week, however, when I click the share button - I get a completely black window. Today, after a restart, I am getting a window with "Share for review" at the top and a continuously spinning wheel. The Share for Review feature is an awesome addition to the app. But, I'm not sure what the purpose of this feature is - if I can't depend on it to work every time I try to use it. Just looking for some consistency, and not having to hold my breathe everytime I click the Share button! HELP!

I filter photos for 'unflagged' only.  In the past, hitting 'x' would drop the photo from the filter and the photo selected would advance to the next photo in the grid (this is different than the auto-advance created with caps lock, where LR advances when anything is done to the photo).Since the upgrade to 15.0, the selection doesn't advance.  The photo drops out of the Library Grid view as it should, but the Loupe view continues to show it.  Of the photos displayed in 'Grid' view, none of them is now selected.  Using the right arrow to advance causes the selection to jump to the very first photo in the grid.  I've tried restarting LR, and the behavior doesn't change.Running LR 15.0 on Windows 11

v.21.0, Windows 11 x64After restarting Indesign, all custom toolbars disappear, and instead a long toolbar with all tools/windows appears. I tried to create a new workspace preset, but it's not helped.

I used the place and link tool to make frames for the sections in the master I manually changed each frame's paragraph style and had to set the text frame options to align centered vertically. When I update the link, those edits are lost. I have these link options checked but it doesn't seem to preserve them.  How can I make it so that only new text would be inherited but the formatting remains the same? Thanks!

I can't be the only one that runs into this, right?? You unplug your laptop from external displays, and in illustrator, photoshop....all Adobe apps, the windows and tools are all over the place and mostly off the screen. I've been running into this for a few years now (my use is occassional). Is there a magical fix to this??!?!?!

Bonjour,Je dois créer des cases à cocher radio (CR2 - CR3) qui sont active seulement si la case à cocher radio -Évaluation est coché.Est-ce possible ? et comment faire ?Merci

Hi everyone, I am facing an issue I just uploaded 30 images and submitted them for review last week and now I can't submit images for review as it button is not allowing me to click on it. here is its screenshot.

Hi, I use tool presets to select my tools (I never use the brush panel)After I select a particular brush, and then use it for a few minutes, sometimes I forget the name of the brush preset I'm using, so I got back into the tool presets window to see if it's still highlighted, but it isn't.  I've looked everywhere else to see where I can get the name of the current brush (which was seleted via tool presets panel, not brush presets panel), but I can't find it anywhere. Surely there has to be a way to do this? If anyone knows that would be great (I'm hoping this is a simple solution that I've overlooked )

I pay for Arobat Premium for work. Most days, I can't access the functions to combine files and other "premium" features even though I am definitely paying for them. Can't even cancel my premium membership without getting charged a lump sum, so I am paying for nothing. Truly the worst "service" if it can even be called that.

Adobe Express did not remove all the background of my video. I did not see an option to manually remove and object or to retry removing the background. How can I resolve this issue?

I was charged 33.29 after I canceled the free 7 day trial, I recieved an email confirmation of my cancelation yesterday, and it made me cancel again today. how do I go about getting a refund

Hi there!I've been using google fonts not only for digital but also print usecases. I've never had any issues with it, when exporting a PDF/X-3 out i.e. of illustrator for print. Now I have a print product which does have some visual problems with the fonts. I have not converted the fonts into vector paths as I thought, they are going to be embedded anyways.Unfortunately now I've realised, that the PDF does contain embedded fonts BUT the "wrong" typefaces - or it is missing some. The preflight is giving an alert named: "font name is not unique".I went through all older PDF-files that I've created the past years with google fonts in it and they ALL have this alert showing up when I do the preflight. There were never any problems with the final print product, so this is the first time it seemed to really making trouble. I am in shock as I didn't know that this can happen... I didn't know there were some fonts that are not able to be embedded properly - and that it is google fonts, that se

As far as I can tell, Ai graphs don't let you include thousand/comma separators in the data from which graphs are created, so you need to add them after. I can't find any automatic way to do this after the graph has been created. Here's a screen shot example, in case that's helpful. I want thousand/comma separators on the Y axis and the bar value markers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The app simply doesn't work. EVERY single time I open a document the app crashes and when I do manage to open a canvas it closes after any type of selection. The brushes don't work either and adjusting their settings also triggers the crashes.

So the Mosaic effect can't be pasted into the Source tab (is that what it is called? had a hard time googling, especially distinguishing it from the "Source Monitor") in Effect Controls panel, but Gaussian Blur can? Why?Are some effects paste-able but some are not?The panel allows me to copy it from the master clip tab (again, is this the proper name?) but then doesn't allow me to paste it into the Source tab?Any insight is appreciated. Screenshots below.

Hi everyone, Has anyone else the same problem on Windows app? The Ctrl+Alt+C command which was previously adjusting the text block to its contents, doesn't work anymore. Instead of it the app opens a video recording? But when I do click right on the text block and find "Adjustment" option, I still see the same Ctrl+Alt+C command on it?

Hi, I've been charged twice for a 7-week trial. The email and everything stated that the payment was going to be made on November 21.However, it was charged right away. I want to clarify that although it says pending, I can see it on the amount owed on my credit cards, meaning that it has been processed. Please reimburse my money as soon as possible as I don't have the money to invest right now. Thanks in advance

I own a Wrap/Large format print shop and Adobe Illustrator 2023 is ruining my workflow and sometimes flat out does not work.  All of the files I used to modify, save, and export in Adobe Illustrator 2022 now crash and give me a "operation cannot be completed because there isnt enough memory (ram)" error.  Sometimes if I even try to copy and paste a completely fresh blank artboard and it crashes on me.  I have 32 gb of ram. This wasn't a problem in 2022 but Adobe removed my access to it.  I have tried resetting all of my preferences and it only made things worse.  Ocassionally, it almosts saves, runs out of memory, and completely ruins my art work by saving it as black and white jumble.  I have pasted my System info below. Hi everyone. My function only accepts “objects.” So I first need to convert the selection state into “objects,” ideally in array form.My model is structured as follows:Some parts are incorrect; please point them out.Regardless of the cursor's state, the final `sel` should be an array object with a "length" property.Thank you. Currently, I cannot determine the three states of the cursor when it selects an image (including white arrow, black arrow, and pasted inside).Additionally, the cursor's position within and outside the table must be considered. var doc = app.activeDocument; // item represents the specific state of the cursor var item = doc.selection[0]; // items holds multiple selected objects, e.g., multiple images or text boxes selected simultaneously. var items; // sel is my target for operations and must be an array object (containing text boxes, images, geometric shapes) var sel; // Example: When cursor is in a text frame (not within a table) var textFrames = []; v

When I loaded the most recent photos to Lightroom, I got the error message:"Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo. You will not be able to make adjustments to the photo."Many of the photos are black in the bottom half. I tried to edit anyway and encountered the message, "Unexpected end of file encountered". I have about 6 weeks experience using Lightroom, have loaded about 500 photos in 8 different loads and have never encountered this before. The photos in the camera look ok. What could be the problem? Software, camera (Nikon 7100) or mac hardware?Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

I am scanning negatives using DSLR. Today I updated Lightroom Classic to version 15.0.1 and cannot now invert Tone Curve as I used to do earlier. In Tone Curve panel I am not able to drag left bottom point to upper corner and same with upper right corner point to bottom. I am using Macbook Pro with macOS 15.6.1. Am I doing something wrong?
