Solved

Both Illustrator and InDesign crash when I open them. This only happens on my desktop. They work fine on my laptop. A blue circle flashes continuously next to the cursor, and when I go to “File” in the top left corner of the toolbar, for example, nothing happens; I can't open that menu. Photoshop works fine. I've already updated Illustrator and InDesign, uninstalled and reinstalled the programs, but that doesn't help. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi all I have been having a lot of trouble lately with my C: drive running extremely low on space (Sometimes up to 500MB left of 118GB). After doing some digging, I found that the below folder was taking up 25GB of storage: C:\Users\Jemma\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Creative Cloud Libraries\LIBS\500C14A2610C5C9A0A495C3C_51302457610c5c99495e52.e\links Within this folder was about 6000 files, which look like all of my past Adobe Stock downloads/licences? I deleted everything in the folder, which temporarily resolved the low storage issue, but within an hour, the files self generated and I was back to no storage space again! I have set my Creative Cloud location to 😧 drive, which has a lot more storage, but this folder keeps self generating in to my C: drive. It causes my apps (even Google Chrome..) to crash daily, and I have tried everything I can think to resolve.  Please if somebody can help can you send a resolution! Thank youJemma

This is strange. We had a problem a few days ago that got solved here, related to updating the certs on a Windows server, IIS 10, running ColdFusion 2023 update 5. So now I have a cfhttp call, using https and a get call, which usually works, but sometimes gets a 500 error. What happens is that Stamps supplies us a url, from an earlier cfhttp call (using post with a bunch of SOAP XML), and their docs say you can just fetch that url with a browser, and it gives you the print file for the shipping label. It nearly always works if I fetch that url with a browser, but we have lots of misses when trying to fetch the same supplied url via cfhttp from our server. So I made a little test page, and here is the code that shows the problem: <cfhttp method="get" url="#qLabelUrl.stampsLabelUrl#" path="#expandPath("\Docs\")#" file="shippingLabel#iShip#.zpl" result="result" /><cfdump var="#result#"/><cfdump var="#qLabelUrl.stampsLabelUrl#"/> Also I include the dump of the r

Is there a way to dynamically retrieve all the possible variants of a globally defined object, such as Justification, from a script?   In other words, I want to enumerate all the values under Justification—such as Justification.LEFT, Justification.CENTER, Justification.RIGHT, etc.—into an array dynamically, instead of hardcoding all the variations myself.   I tried code like the example below, but it seems that each value does not actually exist in Illustrator until it is explicitly referenced in the source code. var justificationArray = [] ; for(var propName in Justification) { justificationArray.push(propName) ; } alert(justificationArray) ;   Use case: Addressing an issue where specified text attributes are ignored when their values match the default values of the character/paragraph styles applied to that text. For types of Object, plan to dynamically retrieve values, convert them to an Array, and generate different values by shifting the index.   Trouble ass

Dear Consultant, An icon was created using AI. Then it was manually made into a motion video using After Effects. Now, when uploading this video, do I have to check the AI option?

Hi, I received a job offer via Workday which I have to sign via e-Sign. I clicked on e-Sign and signed the job contract, but Workday still has the task as "Review"; the same happens with another doc (insurance policy). Meaning the tasks are still somehow pending from my side, and since Workday doesn't have the task as completed, I can't even download a copy of the signed job contract, etc. Ah, and when I open the task again by clicking on Review, and try to sign it again by clicking on e-Sign by Adobe Sign, Adobe shows that the doc has already been signed, in red. And then there's a "Close" button. I contacted the company but haven't gotten any response yet. TY.

Sometimes, it is necessary to switch to the direct selection tool (white arrow) in order to recognize it.Sometimes, it is again necessary to use the selection tool (black arrow) to recognize it.For example:// open the paths in photoshopopenPathsInPhotoshop(paths); This requires the selection tool.If it is a direct selection tool, it will report an error. Is it possible to pass through?Because sometimes we don't need to distinguish between them. Thank you very much.

I contribute AI content for context. I was able to upload more than a thousand vectors like two months ago without any major rejections. Then one day the first batch was rejected because of "Similar content in our collection". Since then I practically haven't been allowed to upload anything. No matter which asset type (vector/raster/video) or style. Here and there individual ones get accepted with no clear logic to it whatsoever. I mean if there is too much AI at this point and they don't want to accept more, I get it. This is definitely a frustrating experience tho as I feel like some automated system is messing with me and there is no logical reason for me to work with and try to adapt to. Guess this is the end for me on this platform   [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

I am testing this currently. When I send this, I receive an email with confirmation. Within this email is this comment: When <email> completes <Document> all parties will receive a final PDF copy by email.Does this mean that EVERY person in the Send box that a document is sent to for signature, will receive notification when each person signs it??? If so, can this be deactivated??

I'm trying to utilize kokopelli art within a text to image prompt. I have added a simple example kokopelli image but the results are nothing like the classic Hopi Native American forms. The prompt indicates that kokopelli is misspelled, so this common art object seems to be absent from the data set. How to get past this and stop wasting credits?

Can anyone tell me how to change this background from Tan to A White Background please?

If I create a new layer from background, it will move the background, regardless of what layer I have selected.  If I lock the background, it goes back to just selecting.  What gives?

Hello Adobe team, my question is:What are the future plans or upcoming features for the Rush mobile app?Compared to other mobile video editing apps, Rush is significantly lacking features needed to compete in the mobile market. For example, it's missing things like automatic subtitles or AI implementation. When I tested it, it was alright, but being an Adobe product and knowing the capabilities of Adobe Premiere Pro, I expected more. If significant improvements can be made to the app, why does it lack basic, current tools found in other mobile editors, essentially forcing users to seek (and potentially pay for) alternative programs? Thanks, and have a great day!
