Solved

Hello Adobe Community, I am helping one of my users with overlapping text. We are downloading this from salesforce in chrome. It looks fine there and even doing a print to pdf keeps the text normal. The issue occurs when we open it in Adobe Acrobat Pro. The text seems to have jumped to the top and overlap each other. See jumbledText.jpg image for reference. I tried turning on the download pdfs option in chrome, repairing acrobat, and when that didn't help uninstalling and reinstalling the app. There are no new updates to be found. Our workaround right now is to upload them to the web and they come out fine. But I need to get them back up and running with the desktop app. It isn't every pdf, some still work oddly enough but these same pdfs work fine on my desktop adobe acrobat. Any ideas on how to fix it?

If no objects are selected, all text Frames in current document will be processed.I have two targets:    1. Text paragraphs outside the table.    2. Cells inside the table.How can I get them? Like this:obj.texts[0].appliedParagraphStyle)=parStn; obj.texts[0].tables.everyItem().cells.everyItem().texts[0].appliedParagraphStyle = bodyParStn;This is my code above.It seems that it can only go up to this point: alert(“here”);There is no response below that. var myDocument = app.documents.item(0); var myStory = myDocument.stories; for (var s = 0; s < myStory.length; s++) { alert("here"); var what = "^."; var res = getGrepSearch(what, app.activeDocument); for (var f = 0; f <res.length; f++) { var obj = app.selection[f]; ... } }

I had several page control/navigation tools disappear from my toolbar, which I keep on top and open. Partially directed by another post, I opened the "Comment" tool and found the missing tools at the bottom of the display. There is what looks like a horizontal ruler with 5 dots in it, this "moves page control into toolbar." That moved them all into the toolbar as I previously had. There is the same ruler to move them out of the toolbar, I must have accidently hit that at some point.  On another note, I wish they had never changed the UI and other features from Acrobate Pro 8 (might not be correct name). I could keep far more drawing tool icons (oval, text box, line, etc.) within the toolbar. Now I had to create a Custom Tool. This means a click and scroll to find things that used to be right on top! I markup engineering plans in Adobe and use these allot. The group tool is also useless since the change to DC. I don't know what it even does now. You used to be able to select s

Since I updated to 2020, I can't seem to use shift+command to scale my images or text proportionally - it just changes the size of the object's box - not the content within the box. When I click on the content itself, I can scale it but it is disproportionate. This is one of my go-to shortcuts! Help!

I have a document using a template with modified right and left master pages that allow room for sideheads.  I'm trying to remove the sideheading space and apply the changes to every page in the document.  I unticked "Allow room for sideheads" in the object properties for both master pages and switched back to body page view, specifiying to remove overrides.  The new changes aren't reflected in the body pages, and I'm not sure why. I tried applying Right/Left master to pages to the fulld document flow, but nothing happens.  Stranger still, I created a fresh FM document and imported styles from the previous file, and it applied side heads to my body page, even though the master pages specify no room for sideheads.  Thoughts? Thank you!

Hey guys, I've been trying to view/share an album within the Lightroom mobile app with a friend. However I can't seem to make it work. The folder won't show on my "shared with me" tab. I've also tried to create an album and as the album owner share it, but without any luck. The album won't show on any of our applications or devices. The only way to view the albums is through the link invite received through the email invitation. Other than that the album does not show. I've tried uninstalling the app but with no succes. Neither the Lightroom mobile app or the web app are showing the shared album.

I've been using Adobe CS5 Photoshop Extended on two computers. I deactivated the license on one (Photoshop - Help - Deactivation), but I'm still using the program on the other.I'm trying to activate the product on the new computer (meaning I have one active installation and want to run the second), but the program says I have too many active copies, which is not true.What should I do?

Hello all, I encounter an error (0xc000007b) trying to open all versions of Photoshop I can install from Creative Cloud Desktop. When searching online, I see this error is related to C++ runtime library dependencies. I am running on a Windows ARM architecture Surface Pro X with the Microsoft SQ1 processor. I have tried following instructions in forum posts installing various C++ runtime libraries to no avail, but I highly suspect that most forum responses will not apply to me, because of ARM architecture. Therefore, I imagine it is fairly important to be updated to the latest version of Creative Cloud Desktop, and then I can go from there. When trying to update Creative Cloud Desktop (not Adobe XD), I get an error code 191. Here is the relevant log output from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\Install.log. I have tried all solutions here or they do not apply to me. Info log output:FATAL: Error (Code = 191) executing in command 'AddU

I have a 1 minute video project. When I go to export it, it says "Rendering Required Audio Files" at 0%. I waited about 10 minutes and it was still at 0%I have the original audio file and also an mp3 song for background music on this short and simple project. I tried converting it to a song to a WAV file but that didn't make a difference. Also my C and D drive are not close to being full, if that makes any difference.I tried exporting the project without the music audio in it and it said the same thing. I then tried to export the project with out the original audio and then another time with no audio and the "Rendering Required Audio Files" still showed up and wouldn't export.Any tips would be greatly appreciated!Ryan

I can't print with PS CC 2017 because the print button is greyed out. I am using windows 7 pro and can't find a way to delete their photo viewer which sucks but it's the only thing I can print with. HELP! And THANK YOU in advance  : )

I just did a clean install on a new Mac Mini, so Photoshop's just been loaded. For years, as I recall, the sRGB variant in the "recommended" folder installed by Adobe has been called "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" - now in my "recommended:" folder there's just one sRGB and that's: "sRGB Color Space Profile.icm" Anyone else seeing this?     We've been telling users to be careful to use "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" but now it seems Adobe may not be installing it.   neil barstow, colourmanagement net - adobe forum volunteer - co-author: 'getting colour right'google me "neil barstow colourmanagement" for lots of free articles on colour management

The exact same issue has happened with me in terms of quality of the generated text. I have re opended a file needing to alter the generated text and the quality is significantly worse. It isn't generating the same style even though I am using the same prompt.

The Acrobat Reader app on my Ipad isn't showing the Microsoft login option (see screen grab). I was able to login on the browser and reader's included in my plan. I downloaded Adobe Express to see if it's a general issue, but it's showing the Microsoft login so it seems to be just Acrobat. Help would be appreciated.

Hi all, Just wondering if there was in Adobe Sign if there was a way to stop Adobe from automatically creating these yellow boxes? This is a PDF with where each of the yellow boxes is an a editable fill in field. I did not create this document.
