Solved

Hi, I just saved my file and decided to change my Illustrator file name in the folder (Windows user). When I tried to open it again after a couple of hours, it got stuck on a black screen, and Illustrator stopped working. Can anyone help me?

Hi, there’s a very annoying bug in Fresco when I select a group of layers and I click on hide all the other layers. When I click again to show all the layers again, the layers located in groups doesn't show anymore. I have to enter each group of layers to activate the visibility individually. When you have a project with dozen groups of several layers it takes ages to show all the layers again… Is anyone having the same problem ?

Background is our project is using InDesign server to trigger PDF generation function through SOAP call at backend. We are using InDesign server 2023 (18.xx) and use InDesign 2023 desktop tool to edit/develop INDT file.  As time goes by, InDesign 2023 can't download anymore from CC desktop app, Adobe only allows to install one previous version. It’s 2025 now(20.xx), only 2024(19.xx) is available. Our company starts to use Adobe Enterprise license, we have to re-install InDesign desktop tool with latest version, then 2023 will disapper in our laptop. Install process is automated, we can't control to keep 2023. Upgrade InDesign server is potential option, but will bring a lot of dev and test effort, related legacy system of this project will also be reitred in 2-3 years. So am worndering if it's possible to get 2023 install package or any other suggections for current situation.

Adobe Illustrator 2025

Hi. I know of a preference or pulg-in so that when you're in an InDesign file, the InDesign icon appears next to the file name and when you click on it it takes you to the parent folder in Finder. Don't know what this is called so have had no luck with searches. Any help please?

Hello, How can I adjust the text content so that the right sdie of the text box page doesn't show so many blank spaces.I tried to move the word up to the space however it won't stick. I never had this problem before and wonder how it happened. Oz

I am having a problem where the content in my tags is being deleted. This happens after I use the "Edit" functions and save my progress. After I do this, my tags remain but they are now empty--the content in the tags has been deleted. This is very frustrating, and it wastes a lot of my time, as I have to go through and retag everything. How do I fix this issue?

Hi all, I've done programming for some time.  PHP, VB, VBA etc.  SOME JS but not extensive.   I decided I wanted to try to do some InDesign Scripts for things I do repeatedly.  I went to the getting started guide at https://developer.adobe.com/indesign/1688653963277/guides/getting-started/ .  Just to try it, I copied the code for the "Hello World" and saved it in my Scripts folder.  TaDA it showed up.  BUT when I attempt to run it I get this error:  I've gone down all kinds of rabbit holes doing research but can't figurre out what is happening wrong.  It is the var myDocument = app.documents.add(); line that is causing the issue.  I attempted to try to figure it out BUT the only thing I've found is the UXP Plugin that Adobe has.   Did that replace scripts?  All of the links from the scripting page get 404 errors.    Thanks for your help.

Hello,I understook the Premium Credits system and I have 4.000 Premium Credits each month (first time I'm using it) but I can't find how much each generation will cost me ... For example, I want to train myself with Firefly Image 4 Ultra and when I place my mouse over the "Generate" button, I was expecting to see some information like "it will use 4 Premiums credits" or something like that ... but I don't see anything ... and I'm a little bit afraid of using 100 credits for a stupid try. Can you help me please ? Or suggest to add this information ? Thanks

Good morning, all. Been getting a flood of error emails generated from production.  Related to Apache POI, but something I have never heard of, before. com/zaxxer/sparsebits/SparseBitSet java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError I looked at the line number indicated in the error message.  Inside of a cfscript tag:...SpreadsheetMergeCells(variables.mySpreadsheet,1,1,1,6);... This is from a Cost Estimate form on our Public site. I've done some digging around, but can't find anything on SparseBitSet.  Or, not much, anyway.  I think I read somewhere that it's not an actual module, so I am guessing there's no package install that can fix this.  Please advise. WolfShade UPDATE:  This isn't affecting only the Cost Estimate form, it appears to also be affecting a Rates Lookup page that uses Excel files to query rates from one port to another.

Photoshop Elements 2024で　コラージュ写真の編集をしていましたが、突然ワークスペースで画像の選択、移動、縮小、レイヤーの移動など出来なくなりました　解決方法はありますか

Hi everyone,I'm trying to recolor an artwork using colors from a raster image. According to the latest official Adobe Help you can recolor from an image. My issue is, once I've clicked the 'Color Theme Picker' button in the Recolor window, my mouse cursor should become an eyedropper, however, mine doesn't. Does anyone know what's wrong?I've tried to eyedrop from the photo when it was embedded, when it was unembedded, made it specifically sRGB, made it FOGRA27, and also made some vector boxes with different colors to see if the image is the issue—nothing helps, my cursor just doesn't turn into the eyedropper tool. I've restarted my computer and I've restarted Illustrator. Attached is a screenshot where you can see that the 'Color Theme Picker' button is activated, but the cursor over the image is not what it's supposed to be (and yeah, my vector graphic on the left is selected, just doesn't show up in this screenshot). I'm running Illustrator 29.6.1, on MacOS 14.7.6

PS 26.8.1 I have an RGB photo on a layer. I want to have the top of the photo gradually go out of focus.I have asked Gen Fill to select subject (a vase with flowers). I took the generated selection of the subject and selected the inverse. I made that into an alpha channel. I duplicated that Alpha channel. I now have an alpha channel with the foreground black and the background white, and I want to take the white area in the alpha channel and make a gradient white to black.  What used to happen is that with only the Alpha channel selected (RGB no eyeballs) I could add a gradient to just one Alpha channel. But what's happening now is when I draw the gradient, with only the Alpha channel selected, it creates a gradient fill mask over the background layer, and the Alpha channel is unaffected. I see no way to get the gradient on the Alpha channel, like in the past. What has changed? Thanks! Screen grabs:
