Hi everyone,since updating to Adobe Premiere Pro 2025, I am experiencing a new issue that did not occur in previous versions.Every time I save my project, Premiere Pro completely closes the project file. I am then forced to reopen the project manually to continue working. After updating to Premiere Pro 25.6.2 if I open and edit any project, when I attemt to save, I receive the error "You do not have write access to the directory where the project is located". If I choose to "save as" the project appears to save but my premere desktop then turns black with no visable panels.   I have confirmed that I do not have an access issue. As the only user/administrator on this PC I have FULL CONTROL of all drives. All other Adobe products I use (After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Media Encoder, LRC) can, Open, edit, save, & write to the same directory.    If I uninstall Premiere and install version 25.5, Premiere works as expected and I do not receive any write access error messages.   I also attempted to uninstall and then install 25.6.1 and again received the "You do not have write access to the directory where the project is located" if I attempt to edit and then save a project. I again uninstalled and re-installed 25.5 and the issue goes away.   This issu

When I import footage to my Premiere Pro, I get a "Drawbot UI Error". With this my video playback lags drastically. I work on a Asus Tuf A16 laptop with a NVIDIA Geforce RTX and AMD Ryzen 9HX. I have tried changing some settings and sequences, updated my GPU Driver and my Windows are fully up to date and using the latest Premiere Pro 25. How do I resolve this problem so that I can start editing again?

Look I'm not sure how this happened but here's the run down. I have two projects open at once, one contains a list of all my mainly used assets (A), whilst the other is the main project (B) - example, short film.I was just editing today and noticed that whenever I would import anything into B like specific footage, it would also import to project A... I would like to emphasise I am editing on a sequence saved in project B. Anyway so I think it's odd that anything I import into B ends up in A's media library, so I close project A (no save prompt given) to see if a restart would fix it.Closing project A (just project A), closed project B with no save prompt, losing all my progress, even progress I had previously saved? Not sure how to replicate, but just letting team be aware

Pr 25.6.2, turning off the transport controls of the program monitor leaves this tiny guy sad and alone. Please, Adobe, bring him to his parents. I'm sure the newer versions have this bug too 

Bug after Audi Gain - Normalize Max Peak - audio is not playing, like you play the footage but can't hear the audio. Fixes itself after restarting the app but pain in the *ss to do that, please fix it. 

Hi, the "Save a Copy" dialog is behaving like the "Import" dialog. Instead of defaulting to the project's folder, it opens the last used import path (e.g., music, downloads). I use this for manual backups and I'm constantly saving copies in the wrong place. I have to manually navigate back to the project folder every time. This behavior is recent and inefficient.Please help me to fix it so "Save a Copy" defaults to the original project's location again.  Thanks.

Issue Description:The Slip Tool and standard audio overlap fade behavior are not working correctly. Both tools respond inconsistently and appear functionally broken.Details:Slip Tool: Does not reliably slip clip content within fixed in/out points. Behavior is erratic and inconsistent with expected functionality.Audio Overlap Fades: Creating fades by overlapping audio clips (dragging the end of one clip into another) no longer works as expected. Overlaps fail to form properly or behave unpredictably.Also, when I add a cut on any clip in the stringouts sequence, it shows 'Duplicate Frame Markers'P.S: This is just happening on one specific project.

I’m experiencing an issue in Adobe Premiere Pro where dropdown menus do not render correctly.The dropdown list appears completely black and the content is not visible.If I open and close the dropdown multiple times, it sometimes starts to display correctly.This happens consistently and seems to be a UI/rendering issue rather than a workflow problem.I’ve attached a screenshot to show the issue.Additional info:OS: WindowsGPU: rtx4080mPremiere Pro version:   

Hi everyone,I’ve been experiencing a persistent and extremely frustrating issue for some time now that is making the software almost impossible to use.The Issue: Randomly, the Timeline UI seems to "lock up" or freeze. Suddenly, the playhead becomes laggy or gets completely stuck.At other times, I lose the ability to move, trim, or resize a clip. The mouse cursor doesn't react to the clips.The Workaround: The only way to "wake up" the interface is to change the zoom level on the timeline or click on a different panel. As soon as I zoom in or out, functionality returns to normal immediately... until it happens again a few moments later.Context:It happens in massive projects (feature films) as well as ultra-simple 1-minute sequences.It happens with or without effects applied to the clips.It happens regardless of whether "Snap" is toggled ON or OFF.It is becoming unfeasible to work under these conditions.Has anyone else experienced this behavior? The arrow of my premiere get stuck when I press the play button, but when I click outside the program everything works smoothly. How can I fix it?

Working on collaborative projects in premiere that include mogrt templates created by my coworker. My coworker has made updates to the files, but they updated versions don't appear in the projects or when searching for them in the graphics tab. Both of our adobe cloud applications say were up to date, and we are all working in the same edition of Premiere pro (25.6.3). I think this is a combination cloud and premiere problem, but unsure. We also use microsoft one drive to host these files- i don't know if that effects anything. How do we get them to sync properly?

Translate captions works brilliantly, until it doesn't.I have had several occasions when, having successfully translated some subs, I attempt the same operation on another similar timeline and the operation results in a new empty subtitle track.The app seems to be going through the motions of creating a translation - the appearance is the same as when it does work - except that when the task is "completed" (the blue message appears) there are no subtitles on the new track.PP 25.6.3 build 2 running on Mac M4 max. Sequoia 15.6Any help gratefully received - this is very frustrating as it's great on the few occasions that it works.

Hello, I’m experiencing a strange bug where some of my fonts are not displaying correctly in Adobe Premiere Pro. Only some fonts appear, and they show up under different names compared to other Adobe programs. For example, Helvetica Neue Black and Heavy are nowhere to be found – only 24 out of 59 fonts are shown. When I open Adobe Illustrator, all of the fonts display correctly. In the latest version of Premiere 25.6.3 I noticed that if I apply a warp stabilizer to a clip , It does not apply the stabilization. Let me explain . When I apply it , in the effect control panel it starts analyzing but it is not visible to the screen . Further more when it reaches 100% the before and after is exaclty the same. Even if it says that it had applied a crop lets say 115%  when I disable the effect it makes no difference at all Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Thanks to all and have a great new year

Adobe Premier proFor some reason Gaussing Blur is messed up, When i apply Gaussian Blur it has a preset vaule of 25.0 under bluriness,  Also if i apply Gaussian blur to an adjustment layer it won't do key frames only to the Actual video clip.Any one know what is going on here??  

When ArriRAW HDE footage (from Alexa35) is imported, some clips appear with different (longer) durations.HP Z8 G4/Dual Xeons/Windows 10/Nvidia RTX A5000/footage on mirrored WD NvME's.Turning on/off hardware acceleration makes no difference.No number of clearing caching/database/restarts solves the issue.No extra panels, no plug-ins.The "extra fictional" duration of the clips causes of course "Frame substitution recursion attempt aborting after multiple attempts/inserting black" errors. Up to the real duration of the clip, play/decode is ok. When the playhead reaches the "extra" frames, all hell breaks loose: failed transcodings on Media Encoder, errors on Premiere and After Effects.For example: a clip loaded in After Effects (by the way, problematic clips do load successfully), appears as having a duration of 2381 frames. After a few moments the clip changes duration and now has a duration of 2477 frames. The actual real duration of the clip, on the ARRI Reference Tool is shown as bein

Does anyone else have trouble with Modify / Timecode? I changed the timecode for a clip to start at 00:00:00:00, and now I need to get it to revert back to the original timecode; but no matter what I do, I can't get the source clip to revert back to the original timecode.

After upgrading to 25.6.1, nearly all of my projects will no longer have the program panel present.  This is after resetting various workspaces to default and reopening the Premiere several times. Even when I attempt to manually trigger the project panel under Window, it simply duplicates the project name. There isn't even a checkmark that appears next to either project name that you would typically see indicating opening a panel succesfully. The image I have attached show this. I did play with the latest Premiere Beta recently and wondering if this may have causes an issue with how file systems are set up or if this  is this specific to 25.6.1? Just bringing all these details up in case they are relevant.

Hello,I noticed something embarrassing on Windows 11 doing video editing with Premiere Pro. I have some fonts I installed that are automatically and randomly removed from the system so I had to reinstall them several times.I don't know why it's happening - I've installed them in the good way using the fonts manager on Windows 11 so have you any ideas why they are frequently removed ?Thank you,

I had a brown out yesterday.  i had photoshop illustrator and premiere dynamically linked.  the project files are on a QNAP server.  since the brown out I have not been able to open the project up, nor have I been able to open up any of the projects the were autosaved this month.     When I try to open the project the "open project" dialogue bar gets about 3/4 full and then just stops.  the software is working fin though because I can open open older projects.  I have never had it where not only is the main file corrupted but also all the auto saves for the last month.I have been working on this project for a long time now and have missed 2 deadlines already.  Having to redo the last months of work make me not want to do the project anymore and I have to say that I have been fighting premiere bloat and bugs since 2017, I think this might be the very last project with Adobe. what I have tried so far without success. - opening a blank project and importing the project.- trying to open it
