Liebe Alle, ich benutze Adobe Illustrator 2026, Version 30.3 auf einem Windows-11-PC.Ich arbeite derzeit an einer Zeichnung, in der ich mit dem Buntstift-Werkzeug Linien zeichne. Dafür brauche ich zwei verschieden dicke Linien, deren Eigenschaften ich mir über das Grafikstil-Tool abgespeichert habe. Nun meine Frage:Wenn ich eine Linie zeichne und am Ende des Stift / die Maus absetze, ist sie zunächst noch aktiv, d.h. der Pfad und die Ankerpunkte werden noch angezeigt. Wie kann ich jetzt quasi bestätigen, dass ich mit dieser Linie fertig bin? Ich muss oft zwischen beiden Grafikstilen hin- und herwechseln, und es wäre sehr zeitsparend, wenn ich nach dem Zeichnen einer Linie mit einem Shortcut o.ä. bestätigen kann, dass diese Linie jetzt fertig ist, so dass ich im Grafikstil-Fenster den anderen Stil auswählen und mit diesem die nächste Linie zeichnen kann. (Ich hoffe, das ist verständlich erklärt.) So lange die gerade gezeichnete, erste Linie noch aktiv ist, kann ich ja nicht den Grafikst

Hi everyone. Having an issue I cannot seem to figure out. I have downloaded and am using the latest Cutting edge 5 version. I am using AI 2026. Whenever I use cutting edge 5 it opens the box to a black box. I have to use CTRL+SHIFT+Windows Key+B to get the box to then appear with the settings. I have to do it every time and I cannot seem to find out why. I have an AMD graphics card (drivers are all up to date directly from AMD). IN AI I switch to use CPU instead of GPU, still having the issue. Any Advice?

I would like to create an upside down portrait artboard.let’s say you have two artboards side by side one is normally reading. if it had page numbers they would be at the top of the artboard. I then want to create a second artboard that is rotated 180 degrees from the first one.  So looking at it in illustrator the page number is now at the bottom of the page and upside down.But if you go to print I need the printer to understand that they both need to print with the page number at the top

  The problem still hasn't been fixed in the latest version. I've done this and that, so please fix the bug. It's annoying to write, so please read the previous one.

I am using adobe illustrator 30.3 (latest version) on Windows 11, version 25H2. My issue is with selection and drag with mouse. As soon as I Lauch the application and try with selection and move it works but after one or two operations it stops working and object selection and drag does not work. some keys like space bar also stops working. I did all trouble shooting as suggested by help and support, but the issue remains same. I reinstalled the illustrator after uninstalling but that also did not work, I tried with fresh document and with a simple text but the same thing happens for text also. I am not able to select and move the text with mouse. kindly guide me.

Hi! can someone help me fix this issue? I'm experiencening this glitch of pink screen whenever I open files in Adobe Illustrator. It it stays for like 1-2 sec the moment AI opens.

I have a computer with a 20-core processor, but Illustrator only uses 2 cores. What should I do? Change the settings to use all cores. Please help. 

MacBook Pro - Version macOS Tahoe 26.4.1New work computer, full adobe account, Illustrator freezes on every launch, spinning beachball.Have to force quit and restart, at most two times to get it working.Be awesome if I didn’t have to do that on a brand new mac.

Is anyone else experiencing the Dimension tool not working, with the following message coming up in a dialogue box?“The Operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [UKFG]”Then only half the label shows up; no measurement etc.Downloaded and running v30.3 on Mac, Sequoia 15.7.5 (can’t use a later OS due to age of Mac)Any ideas on correcting this, as I do use the Dimension tool a lot!Video attached for reference.

Every time I open illustrator all the layers in my file expand showing every single sub-layer. This is beyond annoying because I have to close EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. How do I fix this????

I’m copying an object from one art board and pasting it into the same location on another art board in the same document (and yes I’m selecting the correct art boards whilst doing this). For some reason in this file (which was originally a PDF) when I go to paste in place on the 2nd art board, it pastes the object off the board. I’ve attached the illustrator file so you can play this game aswell. Try copying the red square on the first art board and paste it in place on the 2nd art board. See if you can get it to paste in the correct location - or like me - it pastes it off the top art board (as in the attached screenshot). Does anyone know what I have to do to fix this. Hello everyone.With the latest update, thumbnails of my recent files are no longer visible on the opening home screen/opening screen of Illustrator. The My Files/Open Recent Files list shows the 30 most recent files  - nothing has changed here and it works. Resetting illustrator settings doesn't help. Turning the GPU on/off does not help. Deleting older version settings/resetting current ones doesn't help either. All methods indicated on this forum since 2019 do not work 😕😕 Some program bug - nothing can be done about it. Has this happened to anyone else? macOS 15.0.1 SequoiaIllustrator 29.0Thx Tom

After updating to v29.1 version of Adobe Illustrator, the design files have become very large when saved, and I don't understand why. For example, I opened an old file that was about 500MB on an external hard drive, and when I saved it as a new file in the Documents folder, the size increased to over 4GB.Yesterday, I was shocked when this software saved a file that reached 11GB and took about 30 minutes. As a result, my 32GB RAM is always full, constantly at 90-100% during the process. What should I do to fix this? Thank you everyone for reading!

I need a version of Illustrator that is no longer available through the “Other Versions” option in the Creative Cloud program. I need v28 because a critical plugin I use no longer supports v29 or v30. Google searches tells me that support can provide downloads for older versions.

I've experienced this twice now, both times in the last month. I design beer labels and I'll often open an older label and use it as the template for a new one. When I open the older file (an .AI file), it will load, and most of the live text will have switched to a different font arbitrarily. Some fonts switch to OTHER typefaces that exist in the same document, others switch to different weights of the same font, and still others switch to defaults like times and myriad.  Some of the switched fonts are stored locally, and others are served via Adobe Fonts. The file does this consistently even after I've restarted illustrator and restarted my computer.    I've attached a screenshot of one of the files with its original fonts (from an outlined version for print), as well as a shot with the changed fonts.   Has anyone else experienced this?   System: 2022 Mac Studio M1 Max MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1 Illustrator v 29.5.1

A week ago, Illustrator has started showing this message. The file was created on my account and using the same account ever since. What is going on? 

After the last update of the application, the following pop-up appears every time after launching:  How can I stop it?Thanks in advance.

I tried open my files i saved in the Adobe Cloud but then it showed this error even though i log in with the same account i saved the file earlier. and i have never logged in another account in my laptop too. 

None of my Adobe Illustrator files will open and I have recieved this error that says “Can’t open the Illustration. The file is locked or in use. ID: -54 I tried everything, I restarted my laptop, I tried opening files on Adobe InDesign which worked perfectly but somehow it does not open in Illustrator.

I am experiencing a persistent "Broken File Association" issue across my Creative Cloud suite. After installing and subsequently uninstalling the Beta versions of Illustrator and Photoshop, my OS no longer recognizes .ai or .psd files.Symptoms: Blank Icons: All .ai and .psd files appear as "blank paper" icons rather than the standard Adobe app icons. Broken "Open With": Double-clicking a file does not launch the application. Instead, it triggers a system "Choose an app" pop-up. Missing from List: The current, non-beta versions of Illustrator and Photoshop do not appear as options in the recommended "Open With" menu. Current Workaround: I am forced to open the applications first and use Ctrl + O to browse for files, which is severely impacting my workflow. Hi all,We currently print (send files) directly from Adobe Illustrator to the Epilog laser cutter. When print is selected the dialogue box has a settings button which, when clicked, opens an Epilog settings box that allows the user to change settings such as power and speed. All was fine until the IT department upgraded to Windows 11. Now we cannot get the setting box to appear. If we try and send a print job from another program (eg Notepad) to the laser cutter we are able to bring up the Epilog settings box so I’m thinking this is rather an Adobe issue than a windows 11 issue. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi AllIve had this issue for a while when i manually rotate an object or piece of text that partway through the rotation the software freezes and i get the spinning beachball. The only way out is to force restart illustrator.This can be something as simple as rotating a single digit of text or a simple rectangle. anything really.It doesnt happen every single time but because its a roll of the dice as to wether it will happen im just using the rotate tool from the tool palette instead which works fine.Any ideas on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

Dear community, I have problem with an Illustrator (again and one of many). I have created a file and saved it on cloud. Immediatelly after closing it I have tried to open it just to being shown the error message that Illustrator can't open the file as I don't have acces to this file and that I should contact the owner. I am the only owner of license and the creator of it - I literally created that file several minutes ago on the same desktop device. How is that even possible? It shows the file isn't synced - but the internet connection is pretty fine. I must say I thought that saving my files on cloud will be a big relief and a time saver for me, but it's the exact opposite - constantly having all kinds of problems from conflicts with syncing file updates between my desktop devices, through problems with not available autosaving, messing up my text and letters positions, to banning me out of my own files... guess the creative cloud won't ever really compare to an extern

Hallo, ich möchte Grafiken, die aus Text, Linien und Flächen bestehen, durch eine Aktion per Knopfdruck umfärben von positiv auf weißem Hintergrund auf negativ auf dunklem Hintergrund und umgekehrt.Aber leider habe ich schon Probleme damit, der Aktion mitzuteilen, welchen Teil er wie umfärben soll:So kann ich z.B. nicht die schwarze Überschrift auswählen lassen, um diese per Zeichenstil in weiß umzufärben, ohne dass ebenfalls die eine andere Schrift ebenfalls mit ausgewählt und umgefärbt wird. Oder auch wie ich eine schwarze Linie auswählen lassen kann, ohne ebenfalls die graue mit umzufärben.Wie kann ich der Aktion zuordnen, welchen Zeichenstil sie verändern soll? Bei Grafikstilen scheint es besser zu klappen, aber bei Typo bekomme ich es nicht hin.Es geht also eigentlich um das Auswahlmenü und wie ich dieses für meine Bedürfnisse nutzen kann. Leider habe ich im Netz nichts passendes gefunden…Viele Grüße, jdh
