Hello! Just for fun i was planning to edit a animated football tackle gif. I was planning to remove the player who tackle in each and every frame of the animated gif. So it would take some time to finish. I have successfully opened the gif in CS6 via import Video Frames to Layers. It consists of 72 layers and i have tried to fix 10 of them just to see how it roughly would look like. My problem comes when I try to save and render the GIF (via save for WEB).The 10 first frames of my gif only shows one freezing frame, and then it shows the rest from 11-72 without any problems. What am i doing wrong, since my edited layers don't show up in the final GIF?
I am attempting to convert color PDFs into color JPGs using Image Processor. ThePDFs are designed for CMYK print and probably came from InDesign or (hopefully not) Canva. Instead of color, I get greyscale output and I don't see that there is a setting I can change to fix this. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?
After the latest update, when I try to import images into Photoshop, the program closes immediately.Even when I open an image file within the program, it closes immediately and crashes suddenly.I tried reverting to the older versions, and the same problems occur, even though I was working fine on the previous version before the update.
I have recently returned to Photoshop after several years, and I remember there being an outer glow option in the Layer styles panel. I have searched this site quite a bit and I see that as recent as December 2022 the outer glow option was still available, yet it's missing in mine. I am using CC version 24.1.0 (up to date) on Windows 10 Has it been moved/removed? and where can I find it? What am I missing?
I am always having this problem when trying to open an image from lightroom classic to Photoshop. If I try to open it 3 or 4 times it always eventually opens the image inside Photoshop but it is really annoying. Those are regular Raw images from Canon 5D MK IV files opened on a 32 inch monitor.

Can someone explain why we can no longer scale and constrain proportions from the center when using ALT+SHIFT and utilizing the top, bottom, left or right transform handles? It works only when you grab the corner handles. This is silly. Grabbing a box that is not a corner and using ALT+SHIFT only transforms to the middle on that single access which is basically what should happen when using SHIFT. I spend more and more of my day trying to resolve "feature" changes and bugs to these programs. Windows 64-bit26.9.0 release
Hi there, curious to know if anyone has experience getting the 'Mask All Objects' tool (Layer tab > Mask All Objects) to read Material or Object ID color channels generated from a 3D rendering software? This would significantly speed up our post-production workflow. Our typical workflow is using the color masks to use the Color Selection tools to generate the masks one by one, but the process is tedious when editing a large number of images daily. I've had better results getting the Mask All Objects tool to automatically mask out every object, though its more efficient for editing to grab similar objects by type or material, rather than one by one-- just like Object/Material IDs provide. What I'm looking for is essentially a combination of the "Select > Color Range" tool and the "Mask All Objects" tool. Anyone have any tips, maybe output format or file type to get PS to recognize similar, solid colors for its Mask All Objects tool? Thank you!
Starting about a week ago the "remove background" feature no longer works. I use this program to make thumbnails for my videos and i used to clip a picture of myself drop it in and use this feature to cut me out. Used to be one click and done. Now you click the button and literally nothing happens, no background is removed. I tried updating and searching the web for solutions but nothing works.
I am engaged in a nasty lawsuit and now I have a question. So I hope you can help me further.I have a question about adobe Photoshop CS2. I have added in the annex 2 pictures of properties of a photo. The photo is on 1-10-2010. All the exif data from the camera stand in it too (see CANON EOS 350 d still camera data). Now my question, if you the picture edited in Adobe Photoshop CS2 can then also the date of recording of the photo? I.e. this date change? Continue then the exif data exist, or disappear than the camera data if one adjusts this date in Adobe Photoshop and you only see the "updated" date taken. I have always understood, that if one changes, the date of recording the exif camera data disappear from the picture. In this case, the exposure time, the camaramodel etc.. I understand that you have a create date (exif) original (recorded) to illustrate the RAW data of the photo:<exif:DateTimeOriginal>2010-10-01T11:39:18</exif:DateTimeOriginal><exif:DateTimeDigitized
On my iMac (2019, macOS Sequoia 15.5, Radeon Pro 580X 8GB, 48GB RAM), Photoshop shows the Hand Tool cursor even when other tools are selected (Brush, Marquee, etc.). The brush outline appears and tools work, but the hand cursor overlay remains visible.I already tried: resetting preferences, disabling GPU, reinstalling Photoshop, and rolling back to versions 26.9 and 25.x. The issue persists. This looks like a cursor rendering bug with macOS Sequoia + Radeon GPU. Steps to reproduce: Open Photoshop 26.9 (or 25.x).Create a new blank document.Select Brush (B).The brush cursor shows, but the hand cursor overlay remains.
In 2010 Chris Cox said that it was on the JDI list from someone that just ran out of time... 7 years after is there a way this can go to the top of the JDI of SOMEONE ELSE ....Reseting Warps for smart objects.Reseting free transform of smart object is a must and we've been waiting for too long I think ...ChrisCox
I don't know how to save in jpeg format , classic one anymore. It's just possible jpgf or jpeg XL ! Why, my printer doesn't accept the new jpeg format? What can I do, please ?
var layer = app.activeDocument.activeLayer; var Width = layer.bounds[2] - layer.bounds[0]; var Height = layer.bounds[3] - layer.bounds[1]; alert(Width + "\n" + Height)The dimensions obtained by the above code are 207 and 765, but the actual dimensions are 567 and 850, because the image contains transparent areas. How can I get the actual dimensions? Thank you, everyone
I am not sure where I should post this issue, which has been happening to me for some time now and again today. I had two updates in the CC Desktop App today. One for Photoshop v 26.5 and one for Photoshop (beta) v 26.6. See this screenshot: I click the Update button for Photoshop v 26.5. When it's done, Photoshop (beta) v 26.6 is no longer in the New updates section, but is listed in Recent updates saying it was updated 9 days ago. Here is the screenshot after only updating Photoshop v 26.5: Has Photoshop (beta) v 26.6 also been updated? Not according to the Recent updates section. Checking the Photoshop (beta) v 26.6 reveals Version: 26.6.0 20250413.m.3042 b0b0848 x64, which seems like a build done 11 days ago. Checking Photoshop v 26.5, I find it is Version: 26.5.0 20250318.r.16 0a154be x64. That build is even older, over a month ago, yet it was supposedly updated today! Previously, I have clicked the Update button for Photoshop (beta) and the reverse

I'm a professional photographer using Photoshop 26.10.0 on Win 10 and always use the Classic Gradient tool for masking purposes. By default, I use radial gradiants, from black to white and the mode is set to Multiply. Often, when I open an image, drop an image over top and create a layer mask, once I start creating the gradient, it behaves as if the mode is set to Normal. I have to then click on the mode, select Multiply and carry on. It doesn't do it all of the time, but it happens about 40% of the time I'm brushing in gradient masks.
My History New Snapshot Dialog will not activate. I'm using MacOS 15.3.1, and Photoshop 26.3.0. No matter what History Options, even after clearing prefs and resetting warning Dialogs, My History Panel's "New Snapshot" will not bring up a dialog box so that I may choose "Merge Layers." Option-clicking the New Snapshot Button also fails to do give the desired result.
Hi, photographed a piece of cloth in a tiled way, with small linear objects laid out to afford kniting together ability visually, perp straight down, to get the detail of the weave, so as to knit it together in pshop to make a large piece if cloth for a website background, and despite bounce flash off a low white ceiling, giving apparent same looking cloth pics, Automate photomerge makes a bad patchwork quilt of lightness, worse than the photos appear to be. I had hoped moving from CS6 to 2025 photomerge would have an AI ability to even out exposures or hue etc in panoramas, but it doesnt. Surely thats par for the course by now ?So do it the ancient way, I need to sample a large area, get a value for lightness, and adjust each pic to get the lightness values all matching.I cannot even see how to take the pipette with its gunsight and values to do a sample of e.g. 40% or more of the cloth, a pin point sample is no use at all. In Pshop one can set pipette to 1 pixel or 5x5 or more, but i

I opened an image as follows. You can see it has a transparent background:Then I click Ctrl-A to select all, Ctrl-C to copy the image. Click menu File->New.... In the dialog I select Clipboard and click "Create":In the new document window, I click Ctrl-V and I got this. As you can see, the image itself was pasted as expected, but the background are all white. I hope that the background can be copied as well, that is, the checkerboard in the source image which represents transparency. So, what is the correct operation to copy and paste in Photoshop with transparent background preserved? Or, if it is not possible, how can I convert the white background to transparency (i.e., checkerboard)? Thank you.PS: I am using Photoshop CC 2019 on Windows 10.PS2: I have spent a couple of days trying to learn to use Photoshop by paying and watching an online tutorial, but after so many days, the tutorial still refrains from telling me how to do it (even Ctrl-A was guessed out from other Windows sof

Hi, looking for some help please 🙂 I've created a logo on photoshop, vectorised it and saved it as an eps ( apparently this is a vector file ) but it doesn't have a transparent background which I need it to. I've removed the background on PS but when I open the saved file, a white background appears behind it. I can't save it as a PNG as then surely it wont be a vector file and I need it to remain a good quality when its resized etc. Can anyone help? |Thanks so much !
Photoshop's UI is way too small on Mac, and is wreaking havoc on my eyesight when switching between programs. The UI font size in preferences/settings is on Large, and is still nowhere near as large or visible as the interfaces in Indesign and Illustrator, which are set to small/medium.The UI scaling pref is grayed out and I can't seem to find a way to make it active. Mac OS display settings is set to Default 2560 x 1440.Why is Photoshop unable to acheive the same UI scaling that Indesign and Illustrator are capable of?
