Photoshop

So far, no matter what app (Photoshop and Illustrator) I use.  Save As function does not work at all.  It's suppose to allow you to have a file with a different name and it's doing absolutely nothing.  Why would you mess with this as it's a basic function across ALL applications in Windows and Mac, so why would you screw this up?

I'm using PhotoShop 26.7.0 20250513.r.15 e861f5e x64  Windows 11 64-bitThe frame tool doesn't seem to be working like it used to. I'm trying to place a frame in the white part of this image. Usually, I just need to use the frame tool to draw a rectangle over the part where I want to embed images. But now, doing so turns the phone image into the in-frame image instead of the frame. It happens even when I create a new layer (white rectangle shape over the empty phone screen) and try to put a frame on that instead:(I was trying to draw a frame on "Rectangle 1", but the frame got applied to the iPhone image)I ended up using a clipping mask to achieve my objectives.I don't remember the Frame tool being like that before, is this a bug or did the function change?

Setting textItem contents for an empty text layer via script changes the text layer formatting. Verified on both Windows 10 Pro and Mac Sequoia, Photoshop 26.4.1. 1. Create a new document.2. Add a type layer with the text tool, type in a few characters3. Manually set font and size formatting4. Manually select and delete the text, clicking the checkmark in the Options bar to leave a blank type layer5. Run the following code snippet:var docRef = app.activeDocument; var layerRef = docRef.activeLayer; var textRef = layerRef.textItem; textRef.contents = Window.prompt('Enter text');Result: The text size and font will change to Myriad Pro 9 point. Hello  I've set-up scratch disk in PS. While it's processing on Stack Mode, the disk C is getting full (while it's not selected as scratch disk). Then I keep getting disk full error message. Do you know should be changed in PS settings to avoid PS to write on C during Stack Mode editing? Also, where on disk C can I locate the files written in order to remove them and free some space on C ?Thanks so much for your help

i have an ongoing issue with photoshop 25 (26.7.0)every time i print thermal labels it crashes and i lose what i've been doing.it works perfectly fine on the Beta version and Photoshop 24 (25.12.3) so i've had to keep both those installations on my computer or i'm unable to print.i've sent the report to Adobe multiple times with only a response to reset my printer settings, but i have to do it every time and shut down and restart.Im using windows 11, latest update, ive tried updating photoshop multiple times, the problem is never fixedthere is something wrong with the latest version, how do i get someone to look at it properlyi cant be the only one printing thermal labels from photoshop???

In Photoshop ist - wenn das Programm in DEUTSCH läuft - das Fenster »Ebenen« viel breiter als wenn PS in anderen Sprachen läuft (z.B. Englisch oder Tschechisch). Warum ist es so? Muss es so sein?Unnötig breites Fenster nimmt Platz für das Bild weg.

I have a lens (Venus Optics Laowa Argus 35mm F0.95 CF APO for Canon RF) and it's supported by Camera Raw through 14.1 as seen from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html  When I'm in Camera Raw 15.5, editing a RAW (CR3) file directly, I don't see my lens listed: Shouldn't it be in the list since it should have been added in an earlier CR version and I'm editing a RAW CR3 directly?

PHOTOSHOP 2022. When I open Photoshop I get a warning that says "the command play is not currently available". It's pertaining to my actions but I don't know how to turn this off or to correct it. Any help? I'm using a Macbook pro 2012 but refurbished.

Hello,   I know this topic has been discussed in the past but I'm looking for a bit more information. I've had PS CS6 for for about 8 years now and recently got a 75" display with a native resolution of 3840x2160. As most know, there is an major issue with the UI being too small when running in 3840x2160. My display has 59ppi, and I heard that CS6 was made for 96ppi. I understand that there should not be an issue if the displays ppi is under 96ppi. Which in my case it is.   I just want to confirm a few things. Is running CS6 in 1920x1080 my best option? I know there are a lot of scaling methods out there and maybe that is a better option. Whatever my best option is, does it make sense for me to get a professional camera? I have been of the fence about getting a camera for several years now. I've always wanted one but with the CS6 display issue, it might not make any sense. For example, I was looking at the Canon EOS R5.   PLEASE DO NOT MENTION UPGRAGING TO A SUBSCRIPTION

I can't figure out how to fix this leading issue. The first line in the text box follows different leading than the other lines, even when i manually enter them to be consistent. I tried resetting my photoshop preferences and quitting the app and it is still doing it.  

I have encountered an issue where the content in a Photoshop layer changes to that of another layer, even after the latter is updated. The goal was to create what appears to be a series of photographs, I initially created a white background layer, then another layer with the image. Once I had the look I wanted I would duplicate the image layer (renaming it), then bring in a new image using "Replace Contents..." on the new layer. I did this multiple times with success, but later noticed that some of the image contents were now incorrect in certain layers. When I corrected this using "Replace Contents..." again, the image updated in multiple layers. Note in the image above that the Palms, Drinks, and Hevia layers have the same image content. This is not what I wanted.I selected the Drinks layer, then selected "Replace Contents..." selecting this image.After pressing Place, this is what I received. Note that the Palms and Hevia layers now have the same image as the Drinks layer.

I just reinstalled PS 2025 and I keep getting the blue bounding box/layer bounds showing up. I have ALREADY followed the tutorials online to uncheck show/layer hover bounds in the move tool additional settings (via the cog icon).It keeps showing up again. So I CMD+H to hide all extras but when I switch layers it just comes up again.This is absolutely infuriatingly annoying and distracting. I want it gone.

Hi all,   I am a long time use of Photoshop CC but had not updated for the last couple of updates, 19.1.7 and 20.0.1. I ended up installing 20.0.1 as I thought it would include the updates for 19.1.7. However, I am being prompted to do a download Photoshop CC 19.1.7. Do I need to now install 19.1.7? If I do will 20.0.01 still be the latest installed on my computer? Do I just ignore 19.1.7?   Thanks for any assistance, Lance

Bonjour Après avoir sélectionné la zone que je veux dupliquer (alt+ clic) le alt+ clic se tranforme en symbole d'outil de déplacement. Et si je bouge la souris la fenêtre se déplace. Avant je n'avais pas ce problème. Photoshop Cs4  win 7 Merci pour l'aide.  

Hello!  I have the same version of Photoshop installed on my work and personal computers, using the same CC account on both... When I try to scale proportionally (holding shift with Legacy Free Transform or using the link button at the bar) on my work pc, it only works with the diagonal arrows.. the "maitain aspect radio" disables when I try to scale the sides/top/bottom. On my personal pc everything works fine, it will keep the ratio no matter where I drag the image. I already tried uninstalling and installing again on my work pc, but NOTHING seems to fix this. Help please? 

I'm not sure what to even call this.  I've tried looking it up and tried everything I found an nothing is working. When I open an image in Photoshop to edit it, it's fine when it's fit on the screen, but when I zoom in, it just starts moving across the screen!  Like wandering off to the left.  It was working fine yesterday. Browswer windows seem to be working fine, in some of my Windows apps it's doing it too (scrolling for no reason).  I'm using Photoshop 2023 and Windows 11, ASUS Tuf Gaming Laptop Here is what I've tried so far:1. Turn off Overscroll in Photoshop 2. Uninstall the last 3 Windows Updates3. Update the NVIDIA driver NOTHING has worked. It's still doing the same exact thing. I can't edit pictures if they won't stay still when I zoom in! Please tell me it's something stupid that I'm just not seeing.  I tried to google it and most results told me how to make animated pictures. Not at all what I want. I want them to STOP moving. T

              This issue keeps coming back and I'm getting frustrated. Everytime when I want to use the gradient tool, it shows this error and when clicking OK PS shuts down without saving. I can select the gradient tool and place it, but when I want to make changes to the gradient this happens. Doesn't matter what change I would like to make, when working in the gradient always an error and shutting down.  I did reset my tools and it didn't show the error first time trying, but then again the issue was back.  Currently, when we load a .msh file in Photoshop’s Liquify: It always treats the current image as the original, and the mesh warps it forward.What I'm suggesting is to give us the choice to treat the current image as either the "original" or the "final" state when loading a .msh file.That way:If we treat the current image as the final (warped) state, Photoshop could reverse the mesh and reconstruct the original.If we treat it as the original state (like it does now), it will apply the warp as usual.
