Photoshop

Hello, I hope I can find help here.Now I have a fixed arrangement of my icons (files) on the desktop: work files on the 1st monitor and 2nd monitor for leisure stuff.The problem is: as soon as I change a Photoshop file and then save it, the icon automatically jumps to the left side (1st monitor) under the next desktop icon. I've never had that before and it's really annoying for me. I've even reinstalled Windows. But that didn't help either.Does anyone know how I can turn this off? Is there a setting in Photoshop? I use the latest version available. So I have a subscription to Adobe. Since I also work a lot with Photoshop, it's annoying when I save in between and the file keeps jumping back to the 1st monitor and I have to search for it.I've tried a lot. Even in "View", when you right-click on the desktop, the option "Automatically arrange icons" is deactivated. As I wrote, I reinstalled Windows. I searched through the settings, but I don't know what to do. And I found out 3 more thing

I am trying to create an animation in Photoshop and currently, I want to rate an object in the animation. However, whenever I try to rotate the object in the current frame, the object in the rest also rotates. How do I fix this?

Why is the "replace color tool" not available for use in every photo?

I no longer have my installers and need support personel to assist me. Being passed of on to a forum full of pages that don't apply to my situation is extremely frustrating. I have contacted customer support and am very dissatisfied with the support methods Adobe has engineered. Adobe products are great but I have been going around in circles with this issue for hours, trying to find some resolve with no hope in sight. Perhaps this error message could have provided a link to some useful customer service department. Instead, users like myself search for hours only to find this insanely cumbersome method of resolve. Even locating the community Im supposed to post this to is a nightmare.I am on OSX 10.9.5

Ever since upgrading to photoshop 2024 the history panel will not open when selected. I click it, it animates a derpession but the panel won't open. Now I have to go to the windows menu to get it to open which is very inconvenient.

Does anyone know how to get custom .dcp camera profiles into Photoshop 2022 and/or Adobe Camera Raw. These. are newly created profiles so I cannot migrate them from an earlier version of Photoshop. The profiles in question are the ones created using a ColorChecker and Adobe's DNG Profile editor. I shot raw all the time.  I am 70 years old and I figure it can help me and it does.  But now I can not make a jpg off the raw image.  You have taken the jpg off the list.  So I have to make it a jpg2000 and then change it and then go back and take out the word copy.  My clients do not know what a jpg2000 is and it dosen't work on all platforms.  I want jpg back.

Hi - I have just downloaded the lates versions of Photoshop AND Photoshop Beta to my Mac Book Pro running MacOS Sequoia v 15.1.1.  I can't get the photo restoration option within the neural filters to work.  I Keep getting the "temporarily disabled because of an error" message (which is not helpful at all).  Followin some of the related threads, I see that this is one option to pursue.  I think I followed the insturctions except I don't know what the "filter models" mentioned in Step 2 refer to.  Regardless, restarting Photoshop after deleteing the specified file didn't change the outcome.  This is frustrating as I am trying to restore some family pictures.  What used to work doesn't work now.  Any help is appreciated, Update to the latest version of Photoshop. If that doesn's solve your issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:Restart Photoshop and try againDownload the filter models againQuit Photoshop, delete or rename the fol

Hi, I'm a student and through my school I have the creative suite. I have a 2010 macbook that runs perfectly and I just need a slightly older version of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.  I just wiped my computer so i had to reinstall and Now I can't access these older versions anywhere and I can't find any answers. these programs are a REQUIREMENT for school AND work, not to mention part of my tution cost... I am not purchasing a new computer and I cannot update it any further. I'm extremely frustrated as I was able to download the older versions less than a year ago! I'm also able to get compatible versions of Auditon, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Why?? There's no reason. This has never been an issue. I have been running older versions of adobe programs since I began using them over a decade ago.PLEASE help I am an extremely frustrated illustration student!!! 😞

Hi there,when I try to import a sequence of images (footage from Google studio), only one is imported and I see the interogation point (cf attached screenshot) whithout any explanation or error message... I installed again my photoshop but still same issue when I see on my friend computer with a crack version, it works well!!Any tip please?Barth

Hi,Since a couple of days, I’m experiencing significant delays when saving files in Photoshop, and this happens consistently, even across different versions of the software (including older ones). The issue arises specifically when saving a second file after the first one saves normally; the delay is around 20–30 seconds. The save counter stasy stuck on 10% for a while then save instantly.Additional details:I am saving files to a local disk, not a network drive.My scratch disk has over 400 GB of free space.I have already reset Photoshop preferences, but the problem persists.The issue occurs regardless of the complexity of the files or their size.It seems to be an ongoing issue, even on the latest version of Photoshop running on macOS (M1 Max with 32 GB RAM).Does anyone else experience the same issue, or better yet, does anyone have a solution?

So i saw this design, but for the life of me cant figureout how the person would have blended the 2 patterns (cheetah print and halloween pattern) on the text "spooky vibes" together so perfectly. Will someone please explain how i can achieve this look? I've included a picture!

I am running MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71) and Photoshop 2024 v25.4.0, EVERY TIME I try to generate on generative fill I get the error "Check your internet conncetion and try again." I can find all kinds of fixes for Windows, I RUN A MAC. I have tried enabling stealth mode in firewall, no help, I have tried to completley disable the firewall, no help.I have added Photoshop to my allowed to receive incoming connections, no help.If you have fixed this problem on a MAC can you please share your success.thank you

FIX THE BUG IN THE V.26 RELEASE of PHOTOSHOP. Users can not use the toolbar as all the icons do not show up. People have been on about this issue since its release and the new 26.2 update does not address it. Do better Adobe. The toolbar is the most used asset in the app. For Christ sakes.

Hello everyone,For the last 3 updates in photoshop, I've been having countless bugs and I can't finish any of my work!Every image I use with "Generative fill", ones I export or save or flatten layer or covert to smart object, anything really, the image gets distorted/cut/damaged.Please I can't deal with this anymore I need my tools back! I'm getting this message "Adobe Save for Web Warning" when saving image as jpg. Rest of messages reads: "Some names of the files being saved contain non-Latin characters. These names will be incompatible with some web browsers and servers." Am getting this message when saving to .jpg. This happens also on a MacBook using Catalina 10.15.7. I have already tried retstarting PSD holding option+control+shift. And I went to system prefs, privacy and added Photoshop as an app.

Hi There, Can Photoshop please use the OPT + SHIFT shortcuts properly?   e.g. Consider the attached image where the top layer is off the artboard. Currently, resizing in Photoshop is a multi-step process: scrolling, zooming, resizing yada yada.   But if OPT + SHIFT worked the way it does in InDesign, Illustrator, AE and other apps, we could resize the layer from the top/bottom handles. Currently, grabbing top/bottom/side handles (not corners) distorts the image even when shift is held which is a daily frustration sorry. And yes, it's been like this for years!   Sure, you guys probably impliment requests based on upvotes etc but please, would it be possible to just fix well-established, foundational interactions like this? We use them all day, every day, in every app and when one app doesn't play ball, it creates constant friction. It doesn't have to be this way - right?   Cheers, Ben  

I have a script that does various things (such as renaming files) when PS opens a file.  This script resides in Presets/Scripts/Event Scripts Only.Having edited the script in the relevant PS2025 folder but not seen the change I made, I did some tests and realised that PS2025 was running the script in the relevant PS2024 folder, not the one in the relevant PS2025 folder.On opening Scripts Events Manager I noted that it does not show the folder in which the selected script resides.When one adds a script, the Manager opens the folder associated with the version of PS being run, but appears to 'secretly' store the path to the file and so, at least in my case, where the script was added in a previous version, that's the one that is run.
