The adobe acrobat plugins bydefault gets installed the MS Office suite and other supported browsers. The most annyoing situation is when it keeps coming back whenever the office suite is updated. The temporary resolution is when you disable it from the addins in the office suite. But there is a permanenet solution to this too. Duirng the installation of adobe acrobat, just select custom and uncheck the PDFMaker. Here, there will be two options, one is you can select to uncheck on selected plugins or you can select to uncheck PDFMaker completely. After you do this then proceed to installtion of adobe acrobat. This will enable the software not to install the plugins in your system and you are free from the plugins forever.  

We are struggling with Adobe since upgrading.  We use Tic Tie Calculate and would like to have the toolbar back, is that possible?  Also, is there any tutorial or training on this upgrade that you can point me to as we are struggling with the adobe features in general?

I sent a Request e-signatures agreement to multiple recipients using my personal Adobe Acrobat account. I accidentally included two of my own email addresses as signers when I intended only to be copied on the request. Acrobat consequently added two signature fields for those addresses that were never intended to be part of the document.Several legitimate recipients have already signed, so I would like to avoid canceling and resending the agreement.I do not have Modify Agreement or Remove Recipient available under Manage. I can see Replace Recipient, but my understanding is that this would simply transfer the unwanted signature fields to another recipient rather than remove them.Is there any way to:Remove the two unintended recipients and their associated signature fields from the active agreement; Preserve the signatures already collected; and Allow the remaining legitimate recipients to continue signing?If this is not possible with a personal Acrobat account, would upgrading to Acrob

Hello adobe team,I edited a PDF in Adobe Acrobat on Android and made many handwritten/freehand drawing annotations for weeks. I saved the PDF and then moved/uploaded it to Adobe Cloud. Now after a month or so, the text annotations are still visible in the Adobe Cloud version, but the handwritten/freehand drawing annotations I made afterward are missing. This is very upsetting and unacceptable.I have checked:•the Adobe Cloud version on the web,•the same cloud file in the Acrobat Android app,•the local copy on my device,•a copy created using “Save a copy,”•and Acrobat's accessible cached version. The later handwritten drawings are missing from all of these, although an older local copy still contains the annotations I made before uploading the PDF.The drawings were visible after I made them, so I would like to know whether Adobe can recover an earlier/unsynced version, cached state, or server-side version of this PDF.Is there any way to recover the missing handwritten annotations?

Hello,I am trying to identify and recover an old Adobe Acrobat Standard license that I used for many years.My Adobe account is very old and still active. I have a saved copy of my “My Adobe” account page dating from 2013, so I know I was already using this Adobe account at that time.I remember downloading Acrobat Standard from Adobe, and I never had a paid Acrobat subscription. More recently, Acrobat was installed on my Windows computer under:C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exeToday, when I sign in to my Adobe account and open the Products page, no registered product is shown. The page only offers me the option to enter a serial number. Unfortunately, I no longer have that serial number, and I have searched my old files and backups without finding it.Is there any way to determine which version of Acrobat Standard I owned, what type of license it was, and whether Adobe can recover the old serial number or activation/registration history associated with my account?I am

All of a sudden, when I scroll down in a PDF, the reader skips pages. Single page skips 3, single page continuous, skips 2, two continuous skips 10… This happens both using the mouse and the bar. What on earth is going on? Everything was fine a few days ago.

i have an ARM snapdragon computer. Adobe pro does not allow me to format my resume, especially with enabling scrolling so doesnt cut off paragraphs. cam across something online states adobe pro not compatible with Arm processors also when working with i was senr make to previous version of acrobat which provides minimal editing. Wasted a lot of time, glitches etc, any solutions or just will not work?

About a week ago Adobe stopped allowing me to save a file without using the print to a PDF opption and it also stopped allowing me to reduce the size of my PDF. I have been able to do this for mounths 

When I try to sign or fill in a fillable form, when I touch the field, a comment box pops up and records to the box, not the field. I can delete the comment box, but I do not know how to get rid of the issue. Help greatly appreciated.

Many PDF filenames begin with the name of a Group, and the end of the filename differentiates the file (MTTR26_Challenger_EN_Client_Page_One for example).  Unfortunately, Acrobat tabs are too short, and routinely hide the meaningful part of the filename.  Only “MTTR26_Challenger_E” is visible on the tab.Any plans to make it possible, AND simple and easy to lengthen the tabs in Acrobat Pro, so as to make the complete filename legible?Editing files would become much easier because of this.  Thanks!Michael (Oregon)

Acrobat 25.1Mac OS 26.3.1 (a) Just discovered droplets and they sound great, but every time I make one I get the same error. “Droplet is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.” I’ve gone into Security and Privacy and allowed the app to open by entering my admin password, but then the very next time I try and use it, I get the same error message all over again. Is this a recurring problem or is there a setting I have wrong somewhere?

Acrobat Pro doesn't let me run a preflight without me having to choose a coated category, which doesn't apply to my printing.I need to run Preflight in Acrobat Pro on aPDF but it asks me to chose a type of coated stock to work with.  I just need it to analyze the formatting as it did in the past to know if it’s compliant or not.

Adobe Acrobat 64 bit 26.001.21691 is incredibly laggy when scrolling up and down the document.This is on an R7-7700X and 4080S, It seems to have started about a week ago, scrolling was buttery smooth until then.No updates that I know of except for Acrobat, checked to be on the latest version.Everything else I try to open the PDF files with (browser, acrobat web version, NitroPDF and Foxit Reader) seems to have no problems scrolling the documents.Disabling New Acrobat Reader also restores performance but I like the UI of the new one more if possible.I’ve tried a restart, repair, reinstallation, uninstall + cleaner for a clean install and the same happens.Other things that have been tried to no success: Unchecking all combinations of checkboxes under Page Display > Rendering, switching hardware acceleration off and back on, switching rendering from DX9 to software.Anyone have any idea what else can be done here to restore scrolling capabilities?This does not happen in reading mode (ct

The Take a snapshot tool in Acrobat is terribly awkward to use and frequently glitches. Usage: Right-click, Take a Snapshot, Right-click again, Select All, Right-click again, Copy selected graphic...then it usually doesn’t work unless you repeatedly left-click the screen until it flashes.Issues: Other than that being incredibly cumbersome, Acrobat also sometimes glitches to produce blank snapshots, unless you restart Acrobat altogether.

I have the Adobe extension added in Google Chrome. Unfortunately, the large Adobe icon is blocking a large portion of my menu in Google Docs, making it impossible to work.  I can't move or resize it;  I can only uninstall the extension, which is a poor design, to say the least.  Can you fix this please?

I am running Acrobat desktop version 26.1 on a Windows 11 enterprise Dell laptop.I created a PDF report from an outside source and when I open the file in Acrobat I get this message: This appears to be a scanned document. Use Scan & OCR to make it searchable and editable. The document is not scanned and I don’t need to make it editable or searchable.  When I try to print using the print icon the document stops responding and I have to use the Task Manager to end task. Is there a simple way to turn this message/process off as it seems to crash the Acrobat?Thanks, Jim   

I have a subscription to Acrobat Pro, and a Windows 11 computer.  I want to download the Acrobat Pro to my desktop, WITHOUT cloud services.My disc drive is nearly full and that app is bloatware.  I just want Acrobat Pro.But every download I found has Cloud Services bundled with the installer, and I could not find any with the option to deselect that.

After the latest Acrobat Reader update to version 2026.002.21869 (was installed Aug. 29, 2026 on my system), full screen mode is hanging after I view the first few (3-4) pages of a document.  I have tried multiple documents and they all exhibit the same problem.  Windows 11 25H2.  The Windows Event Viewer reports the hang.  When this happens, I eventually get the Windows message box that “This application is not responding” and I have to abort.  Also, if I disable all page transitions in Preferences, the hang does not occur.I have also verified that the same documents work fine in full screen mode on version 2026.001.21789.  So I think there is a bug/regression in this latest version that needs quick attention from Adobe.

Hi,i have this problem. We deploy Adobe Acrobat X Pro (Adobe CS6). Preflight doesn’t work. So i got this solution (here). It works but i must manually go to every computer to install/modify Preflight. Is there a solution more suited for the IT? I (we) have to go to a lot of computers to cover this?

I need to convert files from PNG to PDF with Adobe Acrobat but it requires a monthly subscription to do so. My images sizes vary from 25 to 40MB. Other online tools have a smaller file upload size of 20MB max.  Is this a must to have a paid Acrobat subscription?

Hi, I recently started having issues with printing pdfs on A3 paper. Whenever I select the A3 paper size, the printer actually prints in A4, hence cutting out half the document. Printing a pdf from say Chrome works totally fine…Any idea on how to fix this? Many thanks!
